There are systems are down. They don't communicate online. You can't buy tickets with cash either as you can see they have a 230 and 3 PM Spider-Man I can't see in their customer service doesn't answer their phone calls either.

Starting going to IPIC and we really enjoy it! The theatres are really nice, and love that they give blankets and have full recliners. Their drinks are really good too! They have billiard tables in front and a good happy hour need to come back for that

Date night. 9:30 showing, arrived 9:12, friendly service from entry. I was a little nervous because my man hadn't pre reserved the seats, but we were good (luckily) We were able to get great back row seats. Y'all, I love the intimate seating pods for two so much, But do not go here if you are tired because you will be out like a light. Each seat has a blanky and reclines all the way back. The only drawback, the reclining seat does not have the best head recline experience You either go all the way back or all the way up there is no head up feet out option.. If you recline, you'll be laying all the way back ready to go to sleep, speaking from experience maybe. Anywho, I was able to stay awake through the entire 3 and 1/2 hour movie. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet because it was cheaper to get the bottle than two glasses each. We ordered a large popcorn with some cheddar seasoning. I ordered the Green goddess turkey sliders and they were pretty good! My man ordered the lobster roll, But It was super small for $30. To him it was like a lobster slider. So of course I shared mine with him. Overall, We had a great date night, some good food and good wine. There were only a couple of not so perfect call outs: The upper body recliner laying you all the way back and our food came out before the popcorn. Anywho, We will definitely be back for another movie date night. Cause I need to try the things on that menu.

We love coming to the iPic. The service is always consistent and food is surprisingly tasty. It is a little pricy but I don't mind that. The only downside is the seats are only two in a cubby so it's difficult for my husband and daughter to go at the same time or one of us has to sit alone. The seats are comfortable and recline like you're sitting in your living room. Also get a small throw blanket. Regardless it's our movie theater of choice.

Love the theater but this doesn't make things appetizing.

They need to clean!!! The theater is great but this was kind of a turn off! Overall we enjoy it though.

We grabbed a cocktail from the bar and the bartender with the pink hair was the worst. She walked away while I was talking and just was so disdainful and rude about everything but it felt like it was my presence at the bar. Maybe some other stuff was going on for her but dang! Ordered the Ube cocktail and it doesn't taste like anything but bad rum and milk. Don't order it. As someone in the service industry, I always tip even if it's not the best service, but the fact I was forced to tip 18% to this person who obviously wanted nothing to do with me sucked. Top 5 worst bar experiences I've had in Austin.

The popcorn was fresh and tasty! Thank goodness for the blankets as their AC was somehow set to 60 degrees and even with jeans and jacket, I was cold. The service was prompt despite not getting our order accurately but it worked to our favor so no biggie. Let's keep the temperature at least 70 degrees, otherwise a pleasant time.

Having been to o an iPic Theater before, I was really looking forward to experiencing the iPic in Austin. I went to see Paul McCartney's film "One Hand Clapping". The film itself was alright, mostly footage of the band Wings in studio in 1974. However, this review is not about the film but, rather the iPic Theater experience. If you've never been to an iPic Theater, the experience is all about comfort and luxury. In the lobby is full bar serving an extensive array of beverages, alcohol and wine. You can also order from their menu, appetizers, snacks and main meal options. The service is top-drawer, black cloth napkin level. There's also a lounge area to meet up with friends which is very upscale / trendy. I would suggest NOT bringing the wee-little ones, especially if they tend to cry a lot. This is more of a mature venue, a place where you can bring your date to empress or, have an Adult night out. Also NOTE: The theater will ask you to shut off or, silence your cell phones. Please this to be respectful of others. Seating is intimate, most of which are paired in twos with surrounds so you don't have to bump elbows or share the cup holder with strangers. The chairs are clad in leather and recline at the touch of a button. Each seat has a blanket in case you get chilly. There is also a table with a QR code to scan for food and drink options. Hard bound menus are available on request. Then press the call button on your table and a Ninja Server will appear to take your order and serve it to you when it's ready. As mentioned, the decor of this theater is upscale and trendy. Not knowing how long this location has been around some of the seating and decor is beginning to show its wear. Discrete lighting under the bar was drooping down a bit, some of the chairs in the lounge were beginning to show wear on the leather. My date noted, the first restroom she went in was well kept and has plenty of stalls while the restroom on the other side of the lobby near theater 1 & 2 had three stalls and on did not work. The restrooms were otherwise clean. This may seem a bit nit-picky however, at this price point I would expect more. There is free garage parking adjacent to the theater. I did not see or notice if there are charging stations available. Expect to arrive a 30-45 minutes early so you have enough time to enjoy everything this theater has to offer. Hope this helps & I'll see you at the movies.

Everything was so good, especially the crispy spicy tuna rolls! My boyfriend and I are hooked. It was the perfect date!

Legends of the West Dinner Theater is located just north of New Braunfels and just a few miles west of IH 35 off FM 306 & Hoffman Lane, take a left on Rolling Oaks Dr., pass by a few residences all the way down to the end of the road... then you drive right into Triple R Ranch. You pass by the rodeo arena, the stables, the plantation house, to the airport runway for parking. Once parked, you will be directed to the former airplane hanger which has since turned into a dinner theater. We checked in at the door, then stopped by the bar (as of now only beer and wine available), then proceeded to find a table to sit at (seating for 200!). We were told the brave ones sit in the front, so we did! I definitely suggest sitting as close as you can... just do it! Our meal was catered by Harmon's BBQ out of Cibolo which included brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad, all the fixins and iced tea. We walked through the line, then back to or table. The acoustic cowboy sang to us for about an hour for their preshow entertainment. This evening started out beautifully. The show we saw was their seasonal Halloween Spectacular which included a gang of Vampire Old West Outlaws which included my great uncle, the infamous John Wesley Hardin! One of the song and dance numbers was Michael Jackson's Thriller which started the show... it was very well done! Bravo! Ladies were called up to help play a game. Children were called up to become a part of the Vampire gang which also included story telling. The cast really gets the crowd involved in the story line.. we loved every minute of our time at the theater. The producer and main actors have all arrived in the Texas Hill Country after spending many years in California, and around the world, in the entertainment industry. Their long time friendship brought them back together to build this amazing adventure for all of us. We spent some time with them after the show and all are amazing people. Hubby and I are looking forward to seeing their annual Christmas show in Dec as well as their year around shows and events in the future... Hollywood comes to New Braunfels! *Note* my phone died big time, wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on, so my apologies for the lack on photos at this event.

During the movie, my mom's blood sugar dropped and we needed to order a Coca Cola quickly. We tried using the QR system but had issues with it. We then flagged down a server, but the Coke still never arrived. In a situation like that, relying almost entirely on a QR code isn't just frustrating, it can become a real problem. I also arrived early because I wanted to order food before the movie started. I assumed my order had been placed, but it hadn't, and no one came by to check. I ended up waiting much longer before I realized nothing had been submitted. The old paper order cards made it much clearer that your order had been received. Other theaters, like movie house and eatery , use QR ordering but still have servers available to take orders if needed. That hybrid approach makes much more sense. The QR system at Alamo is distracting, takes you out of the movie, and feels like it's replacing customer service instead of improving it. I also noticed the menu seems much more limited than it used to be, with several favorite items no longer available. On top of that, I ordered a frozen margarita and it was delivered without a straw. Drinking a frozen margarita without a straw isn't exactly practical. I've always enjoyed coming to Alamo Drafthouse because of the service and the overall experience, but this new ordering system takes away from what made it special. I sincerely hope you'll reconsider relying so heavily on QR ordering and bring back the option to order directly from servers.

Needless to say a lot has changed since our last review of this Alamo location from 2017! Even though we hadn't written updated reviews, we nonetheless noticed (of course) that Alamo had consistently gotten worse over the years. However, our experience last week has confirmed that we will never ever be back here again. This place is the pits. The only reason we went is because someone got us a gift card. We bought our tickets, and there was a $7 "convenience fee" like we are in 1998. But then, we get to the theatre, and--JOKE'S ON US because we had no idea that this had happened--you do everything through a QR now. Are you kidding??? How much soul can you suction out of a business!?! The whole point of this whole enterprise was to use the fun little pencils, write your order down, and have the charming experience of HUMAN INTERACTION. Now, you have your phone out--yes, haha that they mention the irony after the bazillion ads we had to sit through!--and there is an automatic 18% tip included. Wowza! We were so disgusted that we only ordered beers. Our daughter had to get TWO kids pizzas because the portions were so small. The menu is way more limited and even more overpriced than one could imagine. Hope you liked Toy Story 5! Oh, AND FYI, if you forget to close out your tab, they add a 5% ADDITIONAL tip within 20 minutes of the movie closing. I mean, this place truly, truly hates its customers. And what greets you at the main desk? A Gen Z'er on her phone the entire time who can't be bothered to look up when folks come and go. We hate this place so much and we are SO excited for the day that we hear that they will have to shutter their doors because, honestly, no business deserves to go under more than this one. 1 star only because we can't give zero.

My relationship with Alamo has been long, like I've gone since Spike and Mike's used to do sick and twisted festival of animation events. It's my go to. It's my don't-go-to-other-theaters-out-of-loyalty spot. The last few times have been beyond subpar. I didn't want to believe it was over. Tonight, I went for Spiderman at 11:30 PM. I've been promising this to my husband as a date night. It was the one and only time we had a sitter (we have a 6 week old child and a 1.5 year old - so it's been a while since date night). Husband is service industry, and it was literally the only time we had a sitter after he was off of work. We ubered to Alamo, which cost about $13. We paid for the sitter. We get to Alamo and they're closed. We get shit happens, but let Victory members know in advance. Even a 30 minute heads up would have saved us an uber ride or allowed us time to find tickets elsewhere or have a date alternative. Nothing. The staff were apologetic, but didn't seem all that concerned about it. They told me I'd get a refund, that's it. No vouchers to another show. No voucher for food/drinks. The vouchers were sitting in front of the cashier and would have made a world of difference, but she acted indifferent and never offered them. Just a "yeah sorry, you'll get a refund in 3-5 business days". What about the refund for the time, ubers to/from, and sitter? That's where vouchers could have somewhat saved the day. It wasn't important to staff or Alamo because it wasn't their time, ubers, babysitters, or incredibly needed date night. I wasn't even a Karen about it. I tried to tell her I'm sorry she had to deal with issues at the theater and that it probably sucked for staff as much as it does customers, so I get it. Not her fault. She just acted very WHATEVER. RIP Alamo. We will not be back. This could have been fixed, but it wasn't and there was no real effort. They have my email from my Victory account, so why no heads up so we could try to catch the film elsewhere? Why no extra effort to give vouchers? Hell, if we got to the counter and were told the card on file was refunded, that tiny effort would have been something. Alamo was built for people who LOVE cinema. It had a loyal following, but everything that we loved about it is dead and gone. It's sad seeing the current "Alamo" corpse be paraded like Weekend at Bernie's. So instead, we will stream at home once it's available. We will partake in what's killing cinema because Alamo just killed it for us. Thanks but no thanks.

We rarely go to the movies anymore because there are so many great films available to stream from…read morehome. However, while my brother-in-law was visiting, we decided to take him to see Supergirl at Regal Gateway. It wasn't our first choice, but there weren't many other options playing at the time. To be honest, the movie pleasantly surprised us. It was very well done and went beyond the typical sci-fi storyline. The film explored themes of revenge, friendship, protection, and compassion. One unique aspect was that Supergirl didn't actually put on her iconic costume until the very end of the movie, which was an interesting departure from the usual superhero formula. By the time the credits rolled, our family left the theater happy with the outcome. One thing that really stood out was the ticket-buying experience...it was completely people-free. Instead of purchasing tickets from a cashier, we used kiosks located in the theater lobby. You simply select your movie, pay with a credit card, and receive your ticket. In fact, you can even order concessions through the kiosk. Times are certainly changing! Gone are the days of standing in line at the box office to buy tickets. Today, you can purchase them online or at a kiosk when you arrive. I have to admit, though, that I miss the personal interaction. There's something nice about speaking with a real person and not having to navigate the technology yourself just to buy a movie ticket.

Went to the Odyssey Seat C-10... I'd avoid it for Row A-D…read more The perspective for any row before Row D is really off and comically skewed. The IMAX format doesn't fit well in this room as seating is too low, it's too small and the screen is too big. It compromises the huge screen poorly compared to a proper Imax with more distance, and rake of the screen for optimal viewing and listening angles. I asked for another seat but it was sold out so I just bailed before it even started so I can watch on a screen where people's faces and legs don't look 2X as long and skewed with odd perspective. Should have asked for a refund. If you do go here for IMAX try for seats in row F. Seating was very nice, it was clean, and people were friendly, but that IMAX format simply doesn't work in this smaller room format.
