We took in a Saturday Matinee at Cinemark in Cedar Park and it was a really good and refreshing experience that included great recliners and optimal view of the screen with a marvelous sound experience! I love this theater because it's clean and we'll maintained plus the concession stand is just what we prefer without full restaurant and beverage service. Standing in the fast moving line to get popcorn, candy, and beverage is part of the experience for us, but you can order online and pickup right outside the Lobby. We haven't gone to movie theaters as much lately but that's changing with the quick and easy way of buying tickets and picking seats online for a really fair price and walking in right to your seats. You can even order your concession items online with your tickets and pickup your concessions right inside the Lobby while you're walking to your seats. Wonderful experience! read more

Just watched "F1" with Brad Pitt. It was great to watch it here on the big screen at Cinemark CP. I usually wait until the cable networks pick up these movies, but it was my birthday and I wanted a change. The sound and picture was quality was great. Was pleasantly surprised to discover that this location covers some new release Indian movies. As die hard fans of Indian cinema, this hasn't always been the case in Central Texas. This Cinemark is a well kept, clean example of this chain, some theatres are a bit small, but not an issue for the movies we see. Bought tickets online through the Cinemark app, seamless process getting into the theatre, and all in all a good experience. Don't usually buy snacks, but judging from fellow movie goers, (and the smells of popcorn), they must do a good job. Appreciated being able to see Aamir Khan's latest release on the big screen. read more

decided to give this place one last chance and they disappointed again. they just can't seem to get their hot dog game right. the hot dogs de to me were rubbery with old stale buns again. I don't think the manager or owner care about quality control at all. how many bad reviews are needed before a change is made? this place seriously needs new management. read more

Been going to this location for YEARS without problem - love the upgrade to the seats and the online ordering; having popcorn and drinks delivered is pretty cool (though other theaters do it better). Today was going great until I sat down. Ants. I didn't get stung - and honestly there were less than I could count on two hands. It was, however, enough to spoil my experience. I later found the reason why there were ants on me - between the cushions and armrest, the chair was filthy with old popcorn, dried soda syrup and/or melted candy. Not from previous viewing that day, mind you. This was maybe a week's accumulation of nasty. Fortunately the seat next to me was unoccupied. I did not feel the need to interrupt my viewing experience to go full "Karen" and get the management team out to see my seat. I should have... immediately after the film, I contacted Cinemark through the app and emailed asking for a refund and was told this: "Unfortunately, we are unable to process a refund at this time because the showtime has passed and we show that these tickets have been picked up. Situations like this need to be brought to the attention of our staff immediately during your visit so we can take corrective action--such as moving your seats or addressing the problem on the spot." Refunding a ticket to a LOYAL CUSTOMER for a single Sunday matinee ticket was a simple solution. Instead, when I reported the issue with but a tepid, canned response, I told the rep that I intended to post about my negative experience on social media... her response was "Carpe Diem"... That's some BS. I think I'll be spending my money elsewhere. read more

I always have a pleasant experience when I come here. It's my go-to movie theater. It's clean and has nice recliner seats. I've been to a Cinemark in which only certain rooms have recliner seats, but I believe every room has recliner seats at this location. I have been many times and have yet to be disappointed. It can be hard to find parking directly in front of theater, but there is tons of parking on the side and it's still a short walking distance. read more

I tried to buy a ticket for Dandadan that premiered today and their website was down the entire day yesterday. When i called and asked to speak to a manager she was kind of snippy and told me that i have to come in and purchase ticket. I ended up purchasing a ticket on fandango just fine. When i arrived to the theater the screen was a lot smaller than i anticapated. So id sit closer up to the screen if i were to purchase a ticket here again. read more

The theatre has multiple screens, so it is able to show many first run, current films at once. You can buy a ticket at a window outside or inside on a machine. There's a lot of available parking both in front and behind the theatre. The sound system in the individual theaters is terrific,  and the seats are very comfortable. Overall, this is a solid movie venue. read more

Yesterday, we went to see The Long Walk. I was amazed at how clean the theater was. I know, it was early in the day, but it just had that overall clean feel, like they actually take pride in making sure that it's clean. My seat had a little issue, but other than that, it was comfortable. The people who brought the food that we pre-ordered were really nice and our food was hot when it got there. I was surprised that though my nachos were in a bag, sealed, they warmed them. I like that. The thing that really hit me was, I left my phone in the theater. It fell out of my pocket at some point, and I didn't realize until we were home. When we called the theater after we realized that I left it, a manager asked us to describe it, so that she could tell us if it was my phone, and she definitely had it. My husband and his best friend went to pick it up, and they were just great. It's nice that there are still honest people in the world! We will return in the future. read more

Small theaters but very clean. I observed timely food/ drinks delivery to the seats with genuine customer service. The seats functioned well in a smooth recline. Each time I ordered popcorn, the orders seemed freshly made and balanced salt with layered butter as ordered. read more

Theater is tucked away in a shopping mall. Parking is most available behind the theater. Inside lobby is smaller than most theaters that I have been in recently but maybe that's the future of concessions. If you pre-order the item is on a shelf that anyone could take. Seats were loungers and very comfortable but all seats are adjacent to each other. Theater was not full so there was some separation. Both the bathrooms and common areas appeared clean. Great movie theater conveniently located in the Cedar Park Target complex. Our theater featured luxury recliners that were amazing. The only slight issue was the volume. I'm hard of hearing, but the volume was way to loud for me most of the time - and I don't use a hearing device. I can't imagine how it was for folks there with normal hearing. read more

I love movies, and I have been going to see movies almost every week. Things I love about Cinemark: The seats are clean and recline. The bathrooms are clean and kept clean. The staff is friendly whenever I go in and use my movie pass to contactless scan. The theater is never too cold or too hot, and they take the ambient light seriously when the films are playing. Things that could be better: I don't buy the food here, and I do not like going to the snack bar. there aren't a lot of options for one, everything is overpriced, and mostly it's not always clean. I feel like especially when they are busy, there could be better cleaning practices around the food. If they got the bathrooms right, they should be able to get the snack bar right. In fact, if I want to have food and watch a movie, I do not go to Cinemark, I will go to the Drafthouse. Aside from this one thing with the food, I will be going to Cinemark often. I like the overall feel and the fact they are close to home. There are a lot of really good movies that are coming out, and I'm looking forward to kicking my feet up and enjoying a movie. read more

We have been coming to this theater for years. We love the reclining seats, reserved seating (no more getting there way early to stake some good seats), and overall the staff is very nice. The popcorn with the butter and salt is also great, and I love the different specialty cups and popcorn buckets they offer. The seats are comfortable and they offer lots of movie times to choose from. I know someone was upset about the amount of commercials and previews, but ads keep ticket prices down and trailers are a studio thing, so I can't fault this place. I do understand how it can be frustrating with a newborn baby with a limited schedule. So why take a star away, sometimes the place can be dirty and the bathrooms are starting to show their age a bit, but nothing some repairs and proper cleaning can't fix. So I definitely will be coming back here, and hope they start giving away the small movie posters they use to have sitting out before movies were released. That is what made this experience even better. read more

That's a main reason why I don't go watching movies. I can't be sure if they already knew it s been broken before we arrived. We are deaf and the manager handed us captiviews that's views the captions but I saw the same issue on all the captiviews that I kept asking for a different one. All of it didn't work and I wasn't happy at all. A movie without captions. That's gotta stop and let us have open captioning all the time. If others complain about it while we watch, let's turn the sounds off and see how it feels. read more

I may be spoiled by other theaters... Having alcohol at only two concession registers is very frustrating. Adding the fact that all customers have one lane, adds to the frustration. The people in front of me asked tons of questions about popcorn and food options...I only wanted one glass of wine. I waited WAY too long to get a drink before our show and they have very limited alcohol drink options. Going back for another drink during the show was obviously not an option. Not having more food options (only typical concession items), no (foldable or otherwise) tables at seats, and no seat service (without preorder, which arrives at the start of the movie...according to their website) is really a disadvantage to this theater. When getting into the actual theaters there's only two people scanning tickets. When we were there, there was only one person and it was very crowded and confusing. Cinemark is out of every other theater's league with their reclining chairs. The theater always looks clean, aside from some bits of popcorn strewn across the floor, and there are plenty of restroom stalls for everyone after the movie. There's also the advantage of Cinemark movie rewards, not to sound like a salesperson, but it's only eleven dollars per month and I get free tickets and discounts. The food is good and there's always a good movie playing. read more

Date night-with my handsome 7 yr old grandson. The Kid that would be King. We both enjoyed it. As I've said before I'm not a big fan of going to the movies. Between ticket cost and the high cost of snacks watching on demand with home made snacks is a more effective way to control cost. BUT: Having said that there is definitely something about the experience. Seating is so comfortable these days as long as you bring a blanket it's still a good date night option. After all it wouldn't feel too much like a date if we just stayed home in the living room. We arrived early as I didn't know how long it might take us to get our traditional popcorn to snack on so we entered our theater about 15 minutes early. Even archer got disenchanted with the barrage of commercials for 15 minutes solid and then six previews before the movie started. Holy smokes. I'm sure that's not just Cinemark. I think it's pretty much standard operating procedure these days. The theater felt like it was about 32°. I was very sorry I had forgotten our blanket. Thankfully I had a sweater and a scarf on and my grandson is very warm natured so he was fine. The theater was very clean, the restrooms clean and the staff very nice and accommodating. Sounds like we will be going back when How To Train Your Dragon arrives! Be prepared ----there are Toothless stuffed dragons and a new sparkly Dragon whom I guess will be coming out with the new movie along with some other promo items for sale in the lobby. A decent place to catch a movie, with a few drawbacks. I'd give it a tepid thumbs-up. Cinemark Cedar Park is a pretty standard movie theater in terms of available screens, movie selection, and overpriced snack food. Kudos to the staff for doing their best to keep the rooms clean between screenings (one group very politely asked me to wait outside until they were done, and they did a fine job.) They also have decent stadium-style seating, so the odds of having someone's head block your view is unlikely unless they play for the NBA. The parking at this facility is pretty frustrating. There's a smallish arc of asphalt you can drop people off at, but it's pretty jammed, considering that the area is also packed with various restaurants. That's great for a pre or post show dinner but tough to get in and out of. You typically have to hike in from one of the outer lot spaces. Also, I tend to sit in the middle of a row, a couple rows up from the central 'walkway' of a stadium type theater. I realize that there are popular seats. But general checking and maintenance should be able to spot when one of these seats is broken, or the springs are so badly bent that the seat lists forward or to the back like a sinking cruise ship. Two different seats in the row I tried fell into this category, and I had to move. This isn't a major deal (except if the theater is packed!) but it does speak to a general air of neglect. For those of you who go regularly, this was in theater #4. The watchphrase for this screen is: 'Et qui de vobis, caveat sedentor' - Those of you who are about to be seated, beware! Pro Tip: To get to this theater, don't enter the shopping center off 1431/Whitestone. Go around to Medical Parkway and avoid all of the intervening traffic. read more

I love this theater!I always buy my tickets on fandango and they have reserved decking seats which we love and are very spacious,For is we chose this over Alamo draft house just because of the seating is so much more spacious.They have 3D movies too.Everyone is always so nice and they serve beer at this cinema.plus they always have plenty of parking which is nice.plus there are lots of restaurants in the area if you want to go to dinner before a movie! I think they are revamping this theater because the first time I was here it was an alright theater experience. However, I went back recently, booked some tickets online and was confused why they asked me to reserved seating. Turns out they have luxury recliner seats now which is AWESOME. The seats were so comfortable and clean, I could've fallen asleep there. Let's not talk about me playing around with the recliner buttons. Theater looked really clean when I went that night, let's hope it stays that way. Located in an good area with Target and restaurants so you could always do dinner and a movie. Bought tickets to see 7:00 showing of "The Good Half" for me and 4 friends. Went to dinner- gotto the theatre and bought snacks and when the employee scanned the tickets in my app, I was told that my tickets had been refunded and that they were not showing that movie. He then proceeded to say " next guest" and began helping the people behind me. I had to ask him to call a manager. When she came over she told me that the movie had been cancelled. I checked my email to see if I had been notified - but the only thing I had was an email at 3:00 asking if I wanted to add snacks to my order. Why would I not be notifies that my movie was cancelled. The manager said it was being held in a small theatre that only seats about 24 and 12 tickets had been sold- but it was still cancelled- and this time she the decision had been made yesterday!?! - yet here I was 30 minutes to show time with soda, candy and popcorn in my hands and no movie. She said she could try to get us into another movie... but it was discount Tuesday- so we probably could not get 4 seats together- and there was nothing else we wanted to see that wasn't sold out. This theatre is by far the worst cinemark I've ever been to, they do not have hardly any variety of food and dont even have ketchup or mayonnaise if you get a hot dog, they have no changing stations for babies and it was 85 degrees and might as well been outside in the heat, for such a nice area this theatre sucks! read more

The staff is an absolutely terrible at hospitality. My friends sister is 18 and this one staff member was persistent at not letting us in due to my friend and I being 15. After switching our tickets to a movie nearly an hour after the one we were scheduled to see, they delivered our popcorn to us an hour before the movie for us to eat in the lobby. The only staff member to go truly above and beyond is Ty O'Brien. I highly recommend him. read more

One of my favorite past times is watching movies, but I HATE going to movie theatres. Cramped and wobble seats, sticky floors, others talking through the movie, screaming kids, etc. So when the final Harry Potter movie came out, I was in a pickle. Do I wait for the DVD or do I brave it in a discusting theatre to avoid the wait. My decision was to take a week off work and watch it at a matinee. Alamo was my first choice but after looking on their web page and finding HP showing at 1:10PM, I drove down to find they don't do matinees on Friday. Driving like a mad woman, I made it to the Cinemark for their 1:10 showing. Their matinees are $7.25 which is reasonable. (Does anyone remember when matinee cost only $2. Or $3.?) BF said we HAVE to buy popcorn and a drink. So no wait at the food concession, the server told us of their deal to save 50 cents by getting the Extra Large size of popcorn. I shook my head as we would have saved more if we only bought the medium the amount we could finish. Oh, the Pump Your Own Butter machine is to the left of the counter. It's nice you can add as much or as little as you want. Found the room for our movie, only a third full, NICE. We picked our seats, which were spacious and comfortable. Beware the armrests because they do pop up at the most imperfect times. Floors were not sticky. During the trailors and commercials, there was low chatting and laughing but as soon as the movie actually started.... Silent. This is the best time I have had at a movie theatre in ages. I do have to come back here because I forgot an important feature to check out.... The Restrooms. read more
