This is a great little theatre in Leander. Went to see the Wrong Window production, and was very impressed. It was funny and entertaining.

My daughter has absolutely thrived at TDA!! Last summer at the 2024-2025 NADA season kickoff party…read moreshe had a horrible panic attack and literally hid in the restroom bc she was so anxious about introducing herself to everyone. She was in FULL meltdown mode and it wasn't fun!! Fast forward to this summer and not only did she have an INCREDIBLE season, she's now doing a SOLO for the upcoming season! We're in absolute awe of how much she's grown in just 3 years of dancing, and we have TDA to thank for that! I also take (adult) classes at TDA and it's been wonderful for my mental and physical health! This really is our safe space and we wouldn't change it for anything. We're actually having dance withdrawals...we can't wait for the season to start! Thank you, TDA!

But above all of that they love each dancer in their uniqueness- not demanding conformity of personality & body type. My daughter has absolutely thrived in the past 18 months we have been here. Being very shy, and sometimes socially challenged, we have seen her come out of her shell and truly show a love and joy for dancing as well as her teachers and classmates. For the first time ever she asked to choreograph a dance for a school PTA competition. Thank you TDA and Ballet Academy North helping her express herself through dance

*Updating this review to mention that if I had any ounce of thought to continue with this studio,…read moreit has gone out the window after reading the owner's rude and condescending reply to my review. I reached out via email last night explaining the issue and never received a response, I suppose because they're more concerned with their public image on Yelp than helping families. After reading this response, I'm pretty disgusted with the management of this studio. I am beyond upset and disappointed in the studio after what happened to my daughter during class last night. She loved her class last year when her instructor was Nicole, but this year she got Maggie. I've watched the class as Maggie pays zero attention to my daughter and instead focuses on the other girls who are doing really well. She didn't help my daughter as she struggled to learn the dance, she would just yell at her in front of the other girls and simply tell her to keep up. Last night, My daughter got frustrated during class tonight because she felt like she wasn't keeping up with the rest of the girls, so she cried and looked very defeated when I picked her up. After class, Maggie asked to speak with me privately in which she made it very clear that she doesn't want my daughter to return to her class. She said that the other girls are having fun and working hard while my daughter is always crying. She said she only wants dancers who will have fun and work hard. I'd also like to note that I've watched Maggie's interactions with my daughter while in class and she visibly ignores her and doesn't engage with her like she does the other girls. We had a great season last year when Eliana was in Nicole's jazz class, but unfortunately this year has been very disappointing. I'm incredibly upset with Maggie and her comments to me tonight, so we don't plan on returning. I would feel too uncomfortable sending my daughter back after we were indirectly told it'd be best for the class if she doesn't return. Unfortunately, I've already paid for the recital, the costume, and the tuition for March, so I guess I'll have to eat those costs.

They took care of the table and chairs set up, proposed and executed a party schedule that included a story, dance class, craft time, an obstacle course, and then food and cake. Our party got a bit of a late start and ran a little overtime, but they didn't seem to stress. It was a great experience!

When I worked in the area, I must have passed by Flix Brewhouse a thousand times. However, I never…read moreknew it was a movie theatre. A friend recently told me about the theatre and their overall positive experience. Date night with the hubs...we decided to see the new Michael movie. The movie was very well done and captivating. I learned some new things about Michael. First, he was huge visualization and positive imaging guy...likely one of the keys to his success. Also, I did not know he lived as long with his family (according to the hubs he was 29 years old.) Finally, I did not know the fire to his head while filming the Pepsi commercial caused 3rd degree burns and nerve damage which required pain medications. Now for the brewhouse, if you are a big fan of beer, then this is the place for you. I do not drink beer, so this was certainly not my draw. If you like beer, they have a huge assortment to choose from. As you walk into the theatre you can see large metal vats, which you might see in any brewery. In addition, the theatre is extremely comfortable with stadium type seating. You can recline into pure comfort. The sodas and popcorn were topnotch...fresh and tasty. Buying movie tickets is completely online through a kiosk...very straightforward and easy. Will definitely be back...

It's been a minute since I've been to this location and there's been a lot of changes. I love to see how they're evolving. Now you can order from scanning the QR code and you can add to your order whenever you want pick your seat and continue to add to your tab without waiting on a server. Super user friendly and fast. I will say that I unfortunately am still not a fan of the new seat and table design. Depending on where you sit you may not have a good view more than likely it will be obstructed by either your cup and food or the centerpiece that has the lights over the table. The other design flaw is the reclining chair. You recline all the way, The head portion goes all the way back and if you lay back you can't really see the movie. Also the reclining chairs were not designed for those above 5'8 or so. I'm 5'10" Anywho, I still really enjoyed the movie by figuring out how to unobstruct my view, I enjoyed the food and the Arnold Palmer. Mostly, I enjoyed going to the movies with my son. P.S. My son is 6'4" and this is his favorite place and it doesn't bother him at all

We really enjoy coming here and honestly consider the pre show film roll part of the movie…read moreexperience itself, so we usually arrive early to watch it. The new seating is a huge improvement too. The recliners are comfortable, and the tables work well for food and drinks. The online ordering system is also nice because it makes it easy to order exactly what you want, though I do wish there were a few more customization options. Small things like extra ice in a drink, light queso on the fries, or swapping sauces on sandwiches and wraps would go a long way. The fries themselves were great, but the queso made them soggy pretty quickly. I understand keeping the menu streamlined for the kitchen, but at these prices, a little more flexibility would be appreciated. The food overall was good. I was disappointed to learn the cauliflower dish has heat built into the dredge because I had really liked it before, but the wrap I tried this visit was very good. I also miss the rotating special dishes they used to offer since those were always fun to try. The movie experience itself was excellent. Picture and sound quality were great, seating was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. One thing worth mentioning is that we often debate between coming here or going to Cinemark. Cinemark's membership program is honestly hard to beat because it includes tickets and concession discounts, and we've been members for years. We do not live close enough to really benefit from this theater's subscription program, otherwise we would probably join because we genuinely enjoy the experience here. Overall, we had a great night and will definitely be back.

I want to start by saying that as far as Austin-based movie theaters go, ALAMO IS THE BEST. (I'd…read morestill like you to read my 3-star review below though. I am concerned about everything I mention). I've checked out all of their competitors, and none of them have the variety of films that Alamo offers and their movie pass benefits are poor comparisons to what Alamo offers you. Nowhere else can you find Terror Tuesday or Weird Wednesday, or thematic movie series. These things are uniquely Alamo. These things, while I'm sure they must be nationwide, are very much Austin. Also, management with the Austin chain is very responsive when customers reach out with questions/concerns/complaints. This is unique customer service nowadays.
