The show is about 90 minutes, with a 5 min break halfway through. They have a bar on site, and a taqueria that's connected to their building as well. We laughed, we clapped, we sang, we booed, "we" as in the whole audience participated in this interactive show. The kids that decided to sit on the floor in the front that night made the show so entertaining with their cheering and chanting... oh their parents taught them well! Legends of the West Dinner Theater is located just north of New Braunfels and just a few miles west of IH 35 off FM 306 & Hoffman Lane, take a left on Rolling Oaks Dr., pass by a few residences all the way down to the end of the road... then you drive right into Triple R Ranch. You pass by the rodeo arena, the stables, the plantation house, to the airport runway for parking. Once parked, you will be directed to the former airplane hanger which has since turned into a dinner theater. We checked in at the door, then stopped by the bar (as of now only beer and wine available), then proceeded to find a table to sit at (seating for 200!). We were told the brave ones sit in the front, so we did! I definitely suggest sitting as close as you can... just do it! Our meal was catered by Harmon's BBQ out of Cibolo which included brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad, all the fixins and iced tea. We walked through the line, then back to or table. The acoustic cowboy sang to us for about an hour for their preshow entertainment. This evening started out beautifully. The show we saw was their seasonal Halloween Spectacular which included a gang of Vampire Old West Outlaws which included my great uncle, the infamous John Wesley Hardin! One of the song and dance numbers was Michael Jackson's Thriller which started the show... it was very well done! Bravo! Ladies were called up to help play a game. Children were called up to become a part of the Vampire gang which also included story telling. The cast really gets the crowd involved in the story line.. we loved every minute of our time at the theater. The producer and main actors have all arrived in the Texas Hill Country after spending many years in California, and around the world, in the entertainment industry. Their long time friendship brought them back together to build this amazing adventure for all of us. We spent some time with them after the show and all are amazing people. Hubby and I are looking forward to seeing their annual Christmas show in Dec as well as their year around shows and events in the future... Hollywood comes to New Braunfels! *Note* my phone died big time, wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on, so my apologies for the lack on photos at this event.

This was a very kind gesture that went above and beyond and was greatly appreciated or we would have been turned away from the screening by the PR company coordinating it. They have a variety of quality food items to choose from on their menu. I love the popcorn, with all the flavor combinations with my favorite being Parmesan and herb. The price point for food has gotten a bit high but you do get unlimited free refills on soft drinks and popcorn. They used to charge for extra Parmesan herb seasoning on refills, but in my last visit that was no longer the case. I also love the fried pickles and dry fried cauliflower with the vegan ranch dip. They have some really good food options for a theater. So my last screening experience to Mother Mary, we were seated late and this resulted in me not being able to order my food though the new QR code/phone ordering process. It was too dark for my phone to scan the QR code so someone took my order verbally. Then come to find out that they no longer had the Frito pie which is what I was trying to order. So they brought me a paper menu and card to write out my order which I did. Well, no one came back to pick up the card even though the light was on until the very end of the movie. Also when they brought the cauliflower, they forgot the vegan ranch dip so I had to get up and track someone down to get it which interrupted the movie viewing experience. Then I was charged and automatic service change and gratuity on top of that even though I was not satisfied with my service or food ordering experience. This was very frustrating to say the least. So now I am experiencing some issues that I have not previously had before which caused some stress and anxiety and diminished my experience. As with any new process, I hope this is only temporary because for this price point I expected more.

A friend recently told me about the theatre and their overall positive experience. Date night with the hubs...we decided to see the new Michael movie. The movie was very well done and captivating. I learned some new things about Michael. First, he was huge visualization and positive imaging guy...likely one of the keys to his success. Also, I did not know he lived as long with his family (according to the hubs he was 29 years old.) Finally, I did not know the fire to his head while filming the Pepsi commercial caused 3rd degree burns and nerve damage which required pain medications. Now for the brewhouse, if you are a big fan of beer, then this is the place for you. I do not drink beer, so this was certainly not my draw. If you like beer, they have a huge assortment to choose from. As you walk into the theatre you can see large metal vats, which you might see in any brewery. In addition, the theatre is extremely comfortable with stadium type seating. You can recline into pure comfort. The sodas and popcorn were topnotch...fresh and tasty. I will say that I unfortunately am still not a fan of the new seat and table design. The other design flaw is the reclining chair. You recline all the way, The head portion goes all the way back and if you lay back you can't really see the movie.
