Back again because a friend planned an outing for Galentine's to go see Wuthering Heights and once again still disappointed in this theater. On the positive, it was cleaner than I've seen it before. On the negative side - not enough staff meant long lines waiting to order. Ordered the Jack and Coke slushy as a treat and I can tell you with 100% certainty it had zero alcohol in it. My friend ordered one as well, and she hardly ever drinks and said the same thing. The theater was also uncomfortably warm. All in all, another $30 for a mediocre experience. I'd rate it 0 if I could. Went in to go watch Black Phone with my brother and his friends, and was stopped by Mario, a 'manager' asking to see our IDs. I pulled out my ID, I'm over 21 and he proceeded to ask for everyone else's IDs; I've never had this experience and have brought them with me numerous times. I identified myself as their legal guardian, which is within policy, however it would seem Mario may have been on a little power trip. The manager told me a parent needed to be present and stated this was 'policy', yet numerous groups of people who did not look of age much less accompanied by a parent to watch the movie were not treated the same way. He also stated that the attendant at the front asked to see IDs, yet she did not ask a single one of us for our IDs. She didn't even scan 3 of our tickets! You can't just enforce policy on a certain group of people, you need to do it for everybody. Such a horrible experience overall. read more

The facility is clean and large. It's closest to home so I love to use this location. At the concessions, there are so many more options nowadays. I see people getting pizza's, alcoholic beverages, and popcorn in the most gigantic bags! And even Starbucks. Starbucks has some options for a coffee fix. My Latte was more than 75% of ice and milk, so that was disappointing. There were NO straws that come with their 2 size options. The regular small water cup straw was drowning inside. And this is the 2nd time I made the same mistake...and the last time it gave me so much tummy troubles because it had even more milk. So I won't be choosing Starbucks at the movie theatre anymore. The last time, I was impressed by their Ev charging stations outside. Never paid attention to that and ofhow many cars are actually using these. This is a Friday evening. The theatre was full with the newest Jurassic Park out. And so was parking too. But with my most recent visit watching Moana 2, everything seemed perfectly clean, maintained. Solid movie theater with roomy, comfortable seats. It was a little more organized than last time I was here. We saw a movie in 3D which was great quality. You can't beat the smell of freshly popped popcorn and sometimes you just have to splurge for a hot dog and a good ole' slurpee. read more

Went here for an advance screening, Downton Abbey, Grand Finale. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our food arrived at our seats in a timely manner. Was even able to grab some extra butter for my popcorn on the way out. Stopped by recently to purchase an exclusive popcorn bucket and it was so well organized!! read more

Plenty of parking, pretty clean theater and DBOX seats are a plus. This is not going to be a high end theater where everything is spotless it's more like a nice community theater where you take your kids and get a beer. Came here to see a movie on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet. Getting the tickets online and scanning through were easy enough. I was initially confused about where to go for concessions: there were 2 lines for the typical goodies (one of which was closed off probably saving for a busier time) and a middle section devoted to coffee and drinks. I grabbed some nachos from the hot section which also had a few other items like hot dogs. The cashier offered up jalapeños to which I declined, and quickly rang me up with a drink as well. Our seats were easy enough to find and has plenty of walkway space unlike some other theaters where it feels like you have to shimmy your way down. The seats recline with a simple forwards/backwards button and are comfortable, just a little narrower than maybe other more plush seating I've experienced. The volume seemed extremely loud which might have also been because I was sitting in the middle, and I guess it's better than being too soft. The visuals seemed good and at no point was I worried about people in the audience being too loud or annoying. read more

For starters, the actual theatre was literally freezing. It's winter--I wasn't expecting a lot of warmth. But I asked them once, twice and three times (for the manager) to raise the heated temperature in the viewing room. It was not raised and we sat watching the recorded MET encore with our coat and hats one. This was ridiculous! They were just ignoring us. Notable is that the lobby/hallway area and their offices (which they occupied without coats) were quite comfortable. Let me say this: We will Never attend a Cinemark theater again. We actually travelled 40 minutes by car. Their popcorn was good but Not Great as some of these likely employee reviews are stating online. It shows that when a customer is ignored, it reflects on the top management of the company--properly train your employees and teach them how to Value and Care for your clients. So easy. read more

I'm a regular at Cinemark and I usually just check-in, but I had to leave a review after my very disappointing and traumatizing experience a couple days ago. My friends and I were watching the new "Iron Claw" movie in THEATRE 2 (remember that) and after about an hour into the movie something began flying across the theatre room. It was flapping and moving quickly left to right, up and down, even creating shadows on the screen. We were hoping it was a bird, but given the quickness and shape of the wings that were clearly shown in its shadows on the screen we all came to the conclusion that there was a bat in our theatre. It was very disturbing and distracting and totally wrecked our experience. My wife and I immediately exited the theatre while one of our friends decided to brave through it and watched the remainder of the movie. A manager was notified, and yet no one approached the theatre to pause the movie or look into it. Our friend came out at the end of the movie and stated to us that the bat would land somewhere along the screen for a while, and then come back and fly all over the theater again. We were super disappointed that nothing was done the moment we informed them. I ended up approaching a manager again once the movie was over and he stated, "thank you for letting me know, I'll make sure we look into it," and left it at that. I'm a movie-goer and will continue going to Cinemark, but I don't know if I'll go back to THIS particular Cinemark in Pflugerville. Would not want to experience that again. read more

If they could just uninstall the recliners, move them up 5 inches and reinstall this theatre wouod be SO much more comfortable. It's super frustrating, especially in the close rows. Plenty of room to walk in front of the chairs, truly no reason not other than clueless installers for these chairs being so close to the wall. We have a movie club membership, I keep forgetting to cancel. Everytime we come here I get mad at myself for coming here and it's truly the recliners. Sounds like such a karen complaint but they should call them chairs with lifting footstools, not recliners. This is an above-average theatre. Outside there is a lot of parking. Also, they have a good selection of movies. And, being a megaplex, there are many screens inside. But some seats are worn, sometimes staff seem bored with their jobs or clearly dislike their jobs. I've seen the bathroom dirty. Came here for The Queen herself...Beyonce's Renaissance film. Everything was quick and easy. Tickets were pre-bought so we just walked on in. In the theater there wasn't a lot of people and nobody really danced or anything like my small group wanted. We weren't sure if that was the vibe for this theater like we'd seen in others. You walk in, have your QR code scanned and head to your theater and seats. I don't' usually purchase food but if you do, you order at the counter and they could bring it to you or you can wait. I love the Xbox seats that shake and vibrate along with what is happening in the movie. I have watched Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Dune: Part 2, Bob Marley, One Love and Beekeeper in these seats. It's a standard Cinemark. Tickets are scanned before entering the main part of the theater. Side concessions often have shorter lines than the main one. The reclining chairs are a bit short in my opinion. Bathrooms are often missing paper towels in at least one container. read more

My favorite and most-frequented theater in Austin. Here's why: 1. It's very close to someone I'm seeing; 2. It has many theaters for more movie options, including some limited-run or special audience releases; 3. Digital projection is always crisp; 4. Real3D for some movies at a nominal upcharge; 5. XD theater for that really big screen show; 6. D-BOX seating experience. Only two theaters in Austin have it, and this is one; 7. Discount days for seniors and 3D showings, as well as matinees; 8. Memberships make saving even easier with free movies, waived online fees, discounted concession items, and discounted companion seats; 9. Online seat ticketing so you know you'll have a seat waiting for you; 10. Luxury lounger recliners. No need to stay home to feel comfortable. My only knocks: 1. Restrooms show a lack of attention. It's uncool to have no soap and no paper towels, and that happens fairly frequently. 2. The D-BOX seats are shopworn with missing pleather down to the cords. It looks gross. 3. The crew may be great about sweeping the floors, but the seats need attention between movies too. I'm not the maid; I shouldn't have to remove someone else's popcorn. This movie theater is great! It gets very packed so come a little early if you want snacks and pictures with the movie displays. They do have DBox seats which I always opt for when I'm with my kid. They're very fun seats, I definitely recommend the upgrade. Go ahead and become a member to the club you get way better pricing on snacks and other discounts. I've never had a problem here and have been at least 20 times. Just remember the concession lines gets ping and move slow so come 10 minutes early. Enjoy! read more

The place to see first runs of current South Asian cinema. Added bonus is most all of the movies come already subtitled in English for us gorey watchers, with no Hindi/Telugu/Tamil/Mallu language skills. The theater has always been clean and well kept, and more than once we've been the only people there for our movie, so it's like our own personal showing! If you're bored enough to read the About Me section of my profile, you'd see we are in the tank for South Asian cinema, all languages. We drank the kool aid years ago, and think that a super long subtitled Indian movie is a real treat. It's like comfort food, we always enjoy it. We probably recognize more Indian actors than the current Hollywood crop flavour of the month. read more

This place is a mess. You'll get greeted by homeless folks in the parking lot. Then you'll walk into the theater looking for the shelf with your preordered food and drinks. You'll quickly realize after asking the entry ticket attendant that you still have to wait in line for your food. The seats are old and need of modernization. One of the worst Cinemark locations and poorly represents the brand. This location weds a major overhaul. read more

The Cinemark Club makes this place totally worth it. We come here at least twice a month because it's such a good deal. The new seats have changed the theater. It used to be pretty dirty and run down but it's gotten better with Cinemark management. The concessions have unique movie theater food options. I love going for the Churros and my husband always get the samosas. With the Cinemark Club you get 20% off of food too, totally a deal. The only downfalls is the restrooms here are nasty! I do anything at all cost to not have to use the restrooms here, probably killed 5 years on the life of my bladder lol. read more

Me and my family love coming here. We have never had any issues. The popcorn is always fresh, the hotdogs also fresh and the sodas crisp. The the employees are always friendly. Oh and got to love the seating being able to put your legs up and lean back in your seat make it that much better. And that's why we drive over 30 miles just to go to this theater. read more

This is a review of my most recent visits (June 2018 & July 2018) of this movie theater moving on up & becoming a Cinemark 20 and XD and no longer Tinseltown. Since sharing is caring here is some helpful info for you.. FYI & Helpful Tips: -BUY TICKETS ONLINE FOR BEST SEATS: w/ this change this theater has been remodeled & now has the plush, super comfortable seats that recline which means there is less seating in the theater so I recommend you buy your tickets online beforehand so you can choose your seats. You can still buy your tickets when you get to the theater but just know that you may end up getting funky seats because the majority of people are buying tickets beforehand to get the best seating. FYI-There is a $1.50 online fee for each ticket you buy online. If you do buy tickets online you can go right in & show the confirmation info on your phone & they will print your tickets out for you. I really like that I can buy my tickets online & choose my seats because this means even if I don't get to the theater early I will still have awesome seats :). -ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: you can now purchase alcohol at this theater to enjoy while you watch your movie..they have beer, wines, & frozen drinks (price varies but you are at a movie theater & you know how those prices usually are) -FOOD: this theater has expanded their food items & now has a Cafe -DON'T bring big purses or backpack. This theater for sure is strictly enforcing the Bag & Package policy that went into effect 2/22/2018 & they will not let you bring in any purse or bag that is a certain size & they actually have a cardboard box that they are using to measure the size of the bag. You are allowed to bring in a diaper bag & medical equipment bag. Needs Improvement: The concession needs improvement for sure! It takes foreverrrrrrrr for the lines to move when you're buying popcorn & most recently when I was in line waiting to buy popcorn the Cafe lines were empty & there were 3 employees just standing around talking in the Cafe area so I got out of the line I was in & went up to them to buy my popcorn & one of the employees actually told me that I could only buy alcohol or cafe items from them & if I wanted popcorn only I needed to get in the lines that are on either side of the cafe. They said they don't sell popcorn at the cafe because it takes longer for them to get the popcorn because it's not right behind them! That made no freaking sense & I told them this & in the end they did let me buy my popcorn at the Cafe but this encounter was really disappointing because customer service was clearly NOT a priority!! Saving money tips: just in case you didn't know these money saving tips I thought I share.. -Every Tuesday is Discount Days & tickets are only $5.50 each & if you buy your tickets for the 1st showtime of the day that starts before 1pm you get the Early Bird discount & tickets are $7.50 To sum it up I for sure am loving the new upgraded seats but I am crossing my fingers that customer service does improve. -Rebecca out read more

This is an upgrade to a normal movie experience! We don't buy tickets anymore unless we can get reserved seating! The days of standing in line to get a seat are over... who wants to do that?? So we usually go to the places that have meals, drinks, recliners, and service people. But we couldn't wait to see the new Avengers movie and those places were full! So we came to this megaplex. First we were able to get reserved seats. Second they have beer, wine and frozen drink offerings! Third they have the full recliner lazy boy type seating! Fourth it was a very nice theater with a great big screen and wonderful sound. Fifth the cost was less then the normal places we go! Sixth they did not have service people in the theater.... bummer Seventh the parking lot was packed... seriously we had to park in the back 40. However I was pleasantly surprised! It was a good experience and turned out to be a cheaper movie then we normally go to. We will definitely look to come here again! read more

Maybe I'm super old school and used to the cinemas from back in the day, but going to this one makes the experience feel luxurious. We've only seen two movies here so far as it's out of the way, but both times the drive was worth it because it was clean and the seats are big and comfortable. Probably the biggest movie theater seats I've ever experienced. And they recline too if that's something you're looking for, without anyone being directly in front of you. Also some of the screening rooms have a super large screens that you don't have to pay extra for. You'll notice the difference in the screens when booking online, if that helps! The movie theater itself is old though. I don't know if all the rooms are what I've experienced so definitely go for the bigger screen ones. read more

Went to go see a late night showing of beetle juice and the only beetle i saw was a cockroach the size of a hot dog on my hand. as i made it out of the theater i had another in my purse and threw it. while all this was happening a worker saw the whole thing and this monster of a cockroach just walk out of my purse and just turns around and walks away. I will NEVER step foot in this disgusting theater again!!! read more
