I took my 2 yorkies here last week and they look amazing. Not only that, but my dogs get terrible anxiety and hate going to groomers because they're locked in crates. I finally found a groomer! I've been going here consistently for about a year. I had tried 3 different groomers before and couldn't find a good fit. This place hits every mark. Their prices are reasonable. They consistently do a good job. Murphy isn't at the groomers for hours, he's always done in less than two hours. Today I didn't hear my phone ring and I was about 30 minutes late picking him up... A lot of groomers will charge you for that and get mad. They were very understanding. They don't have a lot of shampoos to choose from, just one the last time I checked. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and it has a stronger scent, so I bring my own shampoo and they use that on him. (Apologies for the graphic cut photo in this review) iPet has been grooming our dog for about 2 and a half years now and the experience has always been great. However, on our last visit on Saturday 3/18/2023, this changed -- upon picking her up, I was informed that they had cut our dog where her leg and torso meet, sort of near her groin area. The first issue is that they did not call to tell me as soon as it happened, or even on the phone when they called to say she was ready; I was only told when I got to iPet to pick her up. When I asked if she was squirmy or moving around a lot, he said that she wasn't, it's just that the skin in that area is thin. This is true, but they've groomed her for so long and nothing like this has ever happened before. When I got home, I inspected the cut more. It wasn't deep but it was wide. My partner and I ended up taking her to San Dimas Pet Clinic (who are absolutely wonderful) because our usual vet was already closed for the day. The vet there determined that she needed to be sedated and the cut would need to be stapled to help its healing, since it was so wide. So now our dog has had staples and has been in a cone for about a week, and was on medication as well. iPet offered to pay the bill (which they followed through on and we are grateful for), but when we went to drop it off to them, we were met with a snarky comment that only continued to rub us the wrong way. We were asked if we usually take our dog to this clinic, and we said no because her usual vet is closed, and San Dimas Pet Clinic was able to take us that day. He told us, "I was wondering because they charge a lot there." ????? We never would have been in this position, where we had to take our dog to a vet and iPet had to cover the bill, if our dog was not cut during her groom in the first place. This whole experience just left my partner and I incredibly upset and disappointed. They have been wonderful to us and our dog for a long time, but for this to happen just sucks. read more

I'm updating my review from the past years that I've been coming here. The last time I was here was almost a year ago, but when we had picked up our pup he had cuts all on his belly. Probably like 3 or 4. I went back inside and asked what had happened to him and they couldn't really tell me an answer, they just said sorry and that they would take care of my dogs medical bills if need be. I asked them if their was something I could do as a home remedy and they couldn't give me an answer on that either. I also didn't feel comfortable returning a medical bill to someone else that's my dog so I didn't go with that plan. Luckily my pup got better and healed on his own, but it worried me to pick him up like that with no answers as to why. Mind you, I used to drive for more than an hour to come to this location after I had moved. But after last time, never again. It's a shame because I came here for so many years, and they always did a good job. But after my poor pup had to go through those cuts last time, I won't put my pup through that again. read more

Finally found a new groomer! They will be my go-to groomer now for my little Pomeranian. We've been trying to look for a groomer for two years now ever since our last groomers moved back to China. I've actually been trimming my Pomeranian myself but I didnt get to comb him for a few months because of a busy schedule so his fur decided to get "KNOTTY" (lol) and he had knots here and there. Plus his nails were getting long so I finally decided to go look for a groomer. I messaged about 6 groomers at around 10-11pm Friday night and these guys actually replied pretty fast to me and gave me a good price and told me they will groom him in 90 minutes. Which is pretty fast in my opinion. I scheduled for my Pomeranian at 12pm Saturday. My wife and I got there on time at 12pm Saturday and saw that they were grooming a dog already, but anyway, we dropped off our Pomeranian and decided to just run some errands around the area. My wife and I were actually pretty nervous for our pomeranian because he has nervous break downs and we felt bad leaving him by himself (we take him everywhere with us). Then at around 1:40pm they called us saying our puppy is ready. I was actually shocked because they groomed him pretty fast! We got there and omg, he looked so cute and his haircut was really good! They got all of his knots out! and even cut his nails and everything! For the price and for the time, these guys deserve a 5 star! Really good! It was so cute how he had a little bandanna wrapped around his neck too. The shampoo too, idk what they use but wow! it smells so good and after taking out my pomeranian to the dog park two days in a row, he still smells good! usually within 10 minutes of going outside, he starts to stink and smell like dog. We were loyal to iPet for our Yorkie for years, until we recently found cuts and razor burns on our new dog - a Lhasa Apso. The first time it was a cut on her nose. We thought it was strange because they didn't mention it to us. We had to ask them what happened. They said maybe our other dog bit her. Huh? So we let it go. Then after her next appointment, our Lhasa seemed like she was experiencing discomfort in her private areas and it was unusually bright pink. The next day the area was visibly irritated and she seemed in real pain. We took her to the Vet and they confirmed she had razor burn and cuts in both her private areas. She was put on antibiotics and given cream to heal. We decided to look for another groomer. We've lost trust in them because they fail to communicate how they may have hurt our pets while in their care. That's truly a disappointing business practice. They need to learn to be forthcoming and honest with their customers. read more
