They took the time to clearly explain the services and pricing upfront, which I really appreciated. I mentioned that I suspected my beagle might have fleas, and instead of immediately charging for treatment, they reassured me they would check first to avoid any unnecessary services--such honesty and integrity goes a long way! Their pricing was also very reasonable, and I loved that they were transparent about potential costs and promised to call if anything changed (which it didn't). What meant the most to me was how they treated my dog. My beagle can be pretty loud, so I was a little nervous, but the team handled him with so much patience, care, and genuine affection. When I picked him up, I could instantly tell he had been well cared for--he looked happy, refreshed, and so clean! It's such a relief finding a place that treats your pet like their own. First off I would like to say that I'm very disappointed at this place !i walked in last week and talked to one of the ladies that was very helpful (which I didn't get her name and I wish I would've )i was asking about getting my 1 year old Pomeranian trimmed,which he's never had a trim btw .She gave me a business card and let me know the cost of everything she even advised me to bring my dog in the morning (being that this is his first time. )that she will be able to groom him I just have to book an appointment.So I called the following week to book an appointment and this rude lady answered the phone and told me that they weren't going to be able to do my one year old Pomeranian due to the fact that I hadn't taken him to a groomer ever and that it was too late to introduce him the the grooming process .She proceeded to tell me all this nonsense how Pomeranians hair doesn't grow back !!I told her I'm just looking for a trim not a shave down !She then told me to take him Somewhere else !!!!Pure rudeness and lazyness !!! Customer service could improve. I called to make an appointment and unfortunately I work until 3:00 pm. Which doesn't work for this business, who states they close at 5pm. It's a shame that a business doesn't want your business unless it works for them. They have an open calendar, but don't want "wait around" for your request at a 3pm appointment. read more

I was able to get an appointment same day (Monday) and they were very accommodating. They take cash only just FYI. I showed them a picture of what I wanted my dog to look like and they delivered. This was her first grooming since I adopted her and she looked rough. She had the crustiest of eye boogers and a beard that absorbed everything and smelled like a moldy sponge. Every time she drank water she would rub her wet and smelly beard all over the rug. Now she not only looks much better but I can tell a difference in her demeanor. So, what do you need to know about this place? Well, I have a few tidbits of information after bringing my small breed dog here a few times. It's a cash-only establishment. Im not a fan of cash only businesses that charge the same price everyone else does for grooming and make you pay cash for it. I want choices when it comes to paying. They charge $40 for a small breed grooming. Guess what, so do most places. This is not a good sign. The last few times I've had to wait a long time to get her done. It's been to the point I have to look up the business on Yelp again to see the time they close because I think I might have missed the "all done" call. Today, though, was worse. They wanted eight (8) hours to groom my dog. She's 15 years old and really shouldn't be locked in a kennel for that long. I was so disgusted by this because when I walked in the door they weren't doing anything... Just sitting on their bums. If they are that busy then why not get to work!? I asked her if having her in a kennel for 8 hours was "acceptable" and she said it was fine. Well, it's not for me. This is not a good sign. The grooming has been mediocre, actually, after every cut I've had to get out the scissors and fix things that weren't cut. Yeah, I know, it's minor, but still! Also, the close cut tends to be uneven and not what I'd expect from a "professional." This is not a good sign. I'm done with this joint...they don't seem to care about the animals or making it easy for me to pay. After all, I have to take care of my princess and this isn't how royalty should be treated! read more

Cash only! Took both of my 5 pound Chihuahuas was here. They got nails clipped and anal glands cleaned. They did a great job and charge me exactly what they said they would. $15 a dog so a total of $30 cash. They were very friendly and I had no issues at all. I would definitely recommend this place since I called a few places and all of them Could not give me a definite price because they said it was based on my dogs temperament. I have never heard that before. I should be able to call a place give them the length of my dogs hair & weight and they should be able to give me a set price. For all I know they can say arrange a $15-$25 and charge me $25 just because they said my dog was hard to deal with even though I know that's not the case. Update on last time I brought him here (March 15,2019) I've been bringing my dog here since I first got him 3 years ago, and I'm not bringing him here again. I use to love bringing him here but the last time I did, one of the groomers was so rude. She told me not to bring my dog back here because "he isn't neutered" and he supposedly acted up. My dog has been coming here at the same place since he was very little and all I ever got was how good he behaved. It makes me wonder if they mistreated him. It was a busy Saturday, but they took my request. 2 or 3 times was to clarify questions I didn't ask all at once, and the rest was me being directionally-challenged and getting lost. Each time, they answered my questions very courteously and were patient with me :) FYI, it's right behind the Best Lube on Arrow Highway. When I entered with the dogs, the groomers knew at least one of the dogs was mistreated. (I think my dragging them in gave it away.) They listened to my story and were sympathetic. The groomers had worked at Rescues prior, so they had seen all dogs in all types of conditions. They quoted me and sent me on my merry way. The groomers called me a little over an hour after I dropped them off, and informed me the dogs were clean and ready for pick up. I found the little rascals clean, trimmed, and happy. The main groomer told me the dachshund warmed up to her after a while. I was looking for a basic, no frills grooming salon for the dogs, and Doggie Styles is just that.. $40 for bath, blowdry, and nail trimming for BOTH dogs. I've been coming here for 3 years. For the past year and a half my dog would return bleeding from her nails because they would cut them too short. I would brush it off and remind them the next time I would go to please watch how short they would go. On Friday Nov. 6, the owner of the shop, Kim, returned my dog with major cuts close to her eyes. When I went in to pick her up, Kim insisted on handing me my dog backwards so she wouldn't "scratch me", but once I got into my car I noticed her eyes and realized that she handed her to me in that way so I wouldn't see her face. Out of anger and worry I cried and couldn't get the courage to walk back in and tell them something. I went home and had my boyfriend call them and confront them. Kim claimed that they "tried to tell me" but that is bs. I was in there chatting with the cashier and exchanging money so I can leave a tip. I was in the shop long enough for her to tell me what happened. Now my dog is left with major cuts that can lead to infection and may have scaring in that area. I wish I had the courage to walk in there and demand an explanation but I didn't. I DO NOT recommend anyone to bring their fur babies here no matter how inexpensive they are. read more
