Clean, modern place with beautiful Hawaiian bowls and items in the front office. Great staff at MRI machines.

Number 1, they are open on Sunday! Our daughter had to get a MRI done on her knee and this was recommended by the doctor. Based on the outside appearance we had low expectations. We were met by the receptionist, Estella, who was very warm and inviting. We waited in the lobby which had plenty of magazines and soothing music. It took about an hour but for some reason it didn't seem that long as I was able to take a little nap and my wife and other daughter were reading magazines. When we were leaving Estella handed us a bag of 4 cold waters and 4 warm towels for our ride home! What service. When we got in the car our daughter couldn't stop raving about the service she received when the MRI was being done. She said she felt super comfortable and the equipment and TV were awesome. Yes she was able to watch TV during the MRI. How many people do you know rave about getting a MRI??!! Needless to say based on her treatment and service provided to us as well, this place is in a class of their own! *** After I posted I saw Scot H's post. We are not family of the clinic or friends of people who work there. So please don't discount my review as you don't know!! How dare you question people's posts? Do yourself a favor and live life being happy!*** read more

Definitley recommend InVision if you are nervous about an upcoming MRI. What a positive experience. Thank you everyone at InVision Imaging for making both of my MRI appointments easy. I have anxiety regarding being in a close confined space, it freaks me out which isn't good for anyone. Lol. I needed a back MRI and was concerned that I would have extreme anxiety and not be able to last the 45 minutes. I called InVision and they gave me advice and also explained the size of the imaging system is actually larger than others. They explained the entire process to me. The MRI is different depending upon the body part and areas to be viewed. There are a series of images taken that can last a few minutes to a little longer. The Tech checked in with me after each image was complete so I could move if I needed to. I was given a blanket to keep warm, and ear plugs. They also allow you to listen to your own music if you bring or watch tv. Yes it can be loud at times but the overall experience is not bad. I was so impressed with my experience I left a positive comment and he owner called and thanked me. He was such a wonderful person, I can see why the staff are also so friendly and helpful. I need an MRI on my toe and will be coming back to InVision. read more

Beautiful place to have your MRI done. People here are so nice. I love the hours and it makes it convenient to have hours before and after work, as well as weekends available. The atmosphere is peaceful and I love the room they stick you in just before going in. read more

Aloha President Eric and InVision Team! Just wanted to say thank you for an incredible experience when getting my MRI done today. The last MRI I took was 25 years ago while in college for a sports injury and boy... times have changed when getting MRI's! When I went 25 years ago, I was in the machine for 2 hours and you could not listen to anything..I don't recall bringing my own headset to listen to music. I think they provided one just to make the noise quiter. But today's experience..I was given the option to listen to music provided or watch TV through your glasses that was like virtual reality glasses. I was very comfortable with a pillow and blanket. My exam was only 30 minutes, and I had a great experience. My technician Natasha was very friendly and patient. As I left your place, the staff gave me a nice goodie bag chilled water and gourmet cookies and mint in a nice box. Wow! I felt like I was at a hotel/ spa. Very relaxing and calming. Anyone who visits here will be very happy and impressed! Thank you for giving me a quality service and exceptional experience. Much mahalo, Taryn read more

I'm disappointed in this experience today. No temperature check because of lifted restrictions. Coming into my appointment front desk was pleasant. The guy Will was the only one who introduced himself and was kind and explained everything as he went along. Got into the MRI staff member didn't introduce herself didn't go through the routine when I asked about the tv she said no we don't do that we have goggles and it won't fit. I asked and told her the last time I had a mirror to watch it since I have anxiety it helped tremendously she didn't say anything she just said nope we don't have it asked me if I wanted a blanket I said yes but she may have been annoyed with my questioning about the tv and me saying not able to hear the music and put me in the machine so I had to stop half way to ask for a blanket because it's cold. Also I had to adjust my ear plug. When leaving asked about the temperature taking but there was a different girl at the front desk as soon as I walked out she said okay your all set have a nice day but I had questions about if it was going to be sent to my two of my doctors and she said yes but she was trying to rush me out as soon as I walked into the front. I asked if they still did the little goodie bag and she said no because of covid I guess not checking anyone's temp is ok but the goodie bags are a no go. Kinda feel it went downhill I rescheduled with both my doctors to have my MRI done here because of how easy and calm and friendly environment it was my first experience and switched my MRI from queens to here. A Positive is Will (the guy) was cool and it still beats going to the hospital if your anxious about that type of settings etc. Maybe it's just a Sunday no one asked me if I was vaccinated or the regular covid questions even though the front desk person at the end of my appointment said they ask everyone well I wasn't asked so..... Queens maybe a better option now with the delta strain going around. Oh I forgot I was standing outside ringing the door bell for a while so I had to call them and tell them I was outside so they could let me in the building. read more

After having several MRI's done over the years, I must commend InVision for their professionalism and attention to details! You know you're in for a nice ride when you walk in and the lobby looks like a hotel lobby! The office was nicely decorated and clean, plus the lighting and ambiance made me WANT to get more x-rays and MRI's then I needed! Every single one of the Staff members there were extremely nice, patient and professional. I've been here on three separate occasions, and each time, they took the time to ensure I was comfortable and always clarified the reason(s) for being there. And, the wait time was never more than 5 or 10 minutes, as it seemed they really did well sticking to their appointments. They also validated parking so you didn't incur any cost, plus they had samples of some very delicious cookies for your dining pleasure near the reception desk! Good thing I wasn't hungry, or they may have regretted telling me to "help yourself," All in all, a very enjoyable experience each time. Only wish they would've let me keep the smock so I could parade around town with my azz hanging out! read more

Can I move in here? Actually you can't because their list of channel options during your MRI says so but...seriously you might want to consider it. What an unreal experience!! First of all they fit me in when there were no appointments offering to stay late (meaning 11 pm) to accommodate me. The front desk staff was SO nice! Their office is incredible. It has a wonderful fragrance of Maile and the furnishings are new and hip. I felt like I was at a spa. The dressing rooms were large and comfy and allowed plenty of room for changing even with a walker inside!!! The actual MRI was like your standard MRI but...get this...you get to watch TV!!!! I was watching Letterman while I was getting my back scanned. How awesome is that? The tech was so sweet and really made me feel comfortable. After the experience I was given a refreshing bottle of water and personally walked to my car to assure my safety. This was a seriously awesome experience!!! I hope you don't need an MRI but if you do...THIS is the place to come!!! read more

This place was very clean and modern. The fragrance is like in a spa, and looked like one by looking at the waiting area! Everyone was very nice, sweet, calm and patient! They explained everything and made sure all my questions were answered. They did their best in making me feel as comfortable and less scared as they possibly could! I really hate big needles and getting that fluid in my shoulder was not really my favorite thing on my adventure list! lol Its very cold in there so they provided warm blankets and pillows. You can watch any channel you like or listen to music during the MRI. The TV glasses are pretty cool! I would definitely recommend them!!! read more

Very nice place! The atmosphere is very relaxing and tranquil. Nice soft music, cookies and fruit, salt water aquarium and a warm towel and cold artesian water to follow. My entire experience at InVision Imaging was outstanding. I've had servers MRIs in the past, and this experience was by far the best. I was greeted warmer by the friendly staff. I waited no longer than 5 mins before being called back to my scheduled MRI. I was given scrubs to change in to and was then taken to a beautiful waiting room where I was then taken into the MRI room. After I was placed on the MRI table, they gave me headphones and goggles that resembled a VR headset and allowed me to watch TV. I was comfortable and able to watch HGTV the entire time during my MRI. Once it was finished, I checked out and was given a warm rag to clean my hands and a bag that included ice water and 3 yummy cookies. This place is top notch and if I ever need an MRI again, I will definitely go with InVision! read more

If I could give the MRI procedure as a whole 0 stars, I would. But the staff at InVision are really something special, enough to turn the experience from horrible to more tolerable. ATMOSPHERE: The place is well-sanitized as any medical establishment should be, but the seating and decor makes it also feel like a spa. When you're changed, you get seated in the waiting room in a comfy recliner, and left alone with an set of headphones and an iPad. The lengthy MRI process may mean a long wait, but I personally didn't mind with these types of accommodations. During the actual procedure, you can have an option to either listen to music or wear reflective glasses that allows you to watch TV. SERVICE: Everyone in InVision is friendly and talks to you with a smile. My technician during the procedure was very communicative with me, checking up on me after every section of the procedure. Oh yeah, did I mention they give you a little goodie bag at the end? It had some water, scented wipes, and cookies. IN CONCLUSION: Sometimes it's the small things, and InVision nails them all. read more

This was my second MRI. I arrived and was immediately surprised by the environment I had just walked into. The waiting area is nice, clean, and the staff super friendly. I felt like I just walked into a day spa. The music is soothing, it smells heavenly. I walked into the dressing room to change, equipped with lockers to store my belongings, I was then led into another room in which they call the "spa room". There was an Ipad for my own use if I so desired, plenty of magazines to look through, but what really got my attention was the huge fish tank filled with tropical fish and corals. I loved seeing Dory and Nemo up close lol So I guess you could say I found Nemo! The technician consulted with me about my shoulder and then took me in to start the MRI. I was offered cable to watch while the tech did the scan. Awesome! The end! (They created a DVD with the images on it.) If I ever have to have an MRI done again, I want it to be here! As I walked out to the front desk, the receptionist gave me an ice cold bottled water and a hot towel with lavender essential oils infused! Omg this place is amazing ;) read more

InVision Imaging - Lobby/ waiting area. The best MRI experience ever! Felt like I walked into a day spa! - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

The staff here are super friendly. Very efficient. Customer service seems to be important as each person you come in contact with is genuinely interested in your comfort. After checking in, I was caught off guard security came in, offered me a cold bottle of water (wished it was a cold beer, but eh, im grateful). When it was time to leave, the admin staff offered me a warm towelette with a hint of lavendar and sent me on my way (oooohhh you fancy!) Overall, my experience here is always a good one. So if you need an MRI, XRAY, service is great but also fast. They had my results to my doc's office in 2 days. read more

I was happy to learn InVision takes appointments as late as 10pm, which is really nice if you are a person who works during the day. The staff was very friendly, and as a whole, the entire experience was professional and even a bit relaxing. Additionally, I parked a block or so away because I didn't realize there was parking on site, and the staff was so apologetic for the miscommunication, they sent me a handwritten note through the mail. InVision makes you feel like they truly care about their clients' experience and comfort, and that is a rare quality to find. read more

Best pics for doctor and also free cookies and lavendar face cloth along with water from new zealand. Best place ever!

Worst place ever if there was a negative star they would have gotten negative a million stars. First and foremost I had to reschedule a half a day of patients for this appointment and told them about a second degree burn and taking medication that contains silver in it. Now in letting them know this they said it would be ok and I would be fine for my appointment; this was 3 days before my appointment. So the day of my appointment I go in and once again one the precheck in intell then about the medication I'm taking for my second degree burn and will this cause an issue for my appointment. I am again reassured that there is no problem, so I as I'm being prepared to go do the MRI I am now notified that the medication that is on my burn is an issue and they tell me it needs to be removed. So these incompetent people say to remove the medication and just put a bandaid on a second degree burn... how absolutely stupid that they know nothing about clinical care (this is where I urge all people to stay away from this place, as a medical professional this is ridiculous). So I try and work out a solution with them and remove the medication (mind you all they had in the office was paper towels and tap water and offered no help in wound care since they asked me to remove it for the procedure) this apparent ignorant person tells me to put a band aid on an open 2nd degree wound. I told them with out any type of neosporen or lubrication on the bandaid it would stick to the wound and I would have to rip the bandaid off and that would not be good for wound care. Needless to say she did not know any Medicare from a hole in the ground and decided to look at me like I was crazy and make smacking sounds with her mouth. At this tone I say I am not doing the procedure and I walk redress my own 2nd degree wound and leave. After walking into the reception area I am accosted by their security accusing me of trying to steal a ring... this whole place is rude, racist, unprofessional, unethical and should not be in business. I URGE EVERYONE NOT TO GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO COME OUT ALIVE OR TREATED WITH AN OUNCE IF HUMANITY. read more

InVision Imaging - Upon our departure, we were given a goody bag filled with big island cookie and candy, and bottled water. - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

This is the best medical experience I've ever had! When I first got there I seriously thought I came to the wrong place. I thought it was an entrance to a high end restaurant. They had a very polite and friendly doorman who greets you. The reception desk/waiting area is beautiful and immaculately clean. The lady who helped me at the desk was very warm and helpful. Kevin meet me in the waiting area. He seemed to be an x-ray tech/concierge, and explained quite thoroughly the procedure I would be going through (MRI). He literally walked me through every step of the process. He was very friendly and reassuring. He initially took me to a changing room to store my clothes and gave me a set of scrubs to wear. The rooms have a lockable storage area. There's an inner patient waiting area where Kevin initially took me. There's 2 of these rooms which is separated by a large salt water fish tank which serves as a partial wall. Each room has a reclining chair for the patient, iPad w/ Bose headset and a table with reading material. The entrance is a large frosted glass, automatic sliding door. Downstairs is where they injected the fluid into my shoulder. Again very clean and sterile area. The doctor who talked to me was very through, reassuring and professional. This part of the procedure went without a hitch. I was escorted back upstairs for the MRI. The girl who helped me was very friendly and informative on what would happen. The procedure when without any issues. After changing back to my clothes, I went to the main waiting room. In the waiting room, I was given a lavender infused towelette, bottled water and a Hilo Candies chocolate cookie in a nice bag! Bottom line this felt like a day spa experience. Definitely hit this place if you need an MRI! read more

The staff at InVision Imaging is courteous, thorough, professional, extremely well-organized, and friendly. I took my mom here for her MRI today and was so thoroughly impressed with each staff member we interacted with. The care with which they all treated my mom definitely helped to ease the stress of her having to do this procedure. Thank you, InVision Imaging staff! read more

I was so surprised to be treated so well by InVision today for my X-ray, surprised not by any previous visit there, but rather by the generic way I have been treated by their main competiton in town. This place is more like a day spa than a medical facility! Very clean, nice decor, fish tank and iPad in the waiting room. I heard they have the largest machines in the islands. They also have tv goggles with headset! This was my 1st MRI but I can't imagine doing this without the tv and goggles! It's very noisy in the machine. My best tip would be DONT scratch as bad as you want to! I didn't think I moved at all but had to do 2 pics again for an additional 14min read more

Fantastic comfortable service. Very pleasant staff and reception. Everything is first class. Clean, pleasant, relaxing and comfortable. From the spacious and clean changing room to the water, cookies and high end bag to carry, this turned an otherwise stressful unpleasant MRI experience, into a somewhat pleasant experience. My MRI felt like a spa day!! And I hate confined space! They took the time to hook up every diversion so I would forget I was sitting in such a small space for 45 minutes. I was really nervous going in and now I cannot wait to go back! Excellent and compassionate care. Thank you!!! read more

Very efficient. Minimal waiting alone in the lobby or the inside waiting rooms. Scan started at the scheduled time or earlier. The building exterior is similar to any run-down medical office complex. But once inside the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. This was my first MRI, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The foam mattress was actually comfy. And they had TV goggles. Unfortunately I picked the wrong channel; the full time I was confined during my first scan, I had to stare at caskets while an MSNBC special on death was running. read more

I have had many MRIs done here over the years and will review on a few different areas which I feel deserve different ratings. Facility appearance/amenities=5 The facility is clean and actually feels more like a spa. The patient counseling area is very private and has magazine and an iPad to keep you occupied while you wait. They offer a variety of things to make your MRI more comfortable which include ear plugs if you want to sleep or A/V goggles if you want to listen to music or watch TV/DVDs. They also give you a nice warm blanket! Employee/Staff Attitude=3.5 Every time I have been here the front desk staff have never been that friendly. But the x-ray tech that has done 2 of my MRIs was always very professional. Timeliness of Service=5 I have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Hours of Service=5 Very felxible! I love being able to schedule my MRI after I end work. Other=You will get a copy of your MRI on a CD before you leave and a complimentary bottle of water. In the past I have gotten a DriFit shirt with their logo on it. Overall=4.5 read more

I actually went in there Friday afternoon. I needed an MRI done and really didn't want to take an extra day off of work to have it done. My doctor recommended a MRI for my knee and made the referral to In Vision Imaging. I requested the first available appointment. First surprise: My appointment was scheduled for 7p on a Saturday night. Not how I normally like to spend my weekends, but o was happy that I didn't have to take PTO from work. Second surprise: Free parking. That doesn't happen very often in Honolulu. Third surprise: The atmosphere in In Vision was more spa like than medical. The chairs were plush. Fresh flowers were in every room. I could smell essential oils being infused in the air. And when my test was over... I got a bottle of water and a warm lavender scented towel. Overall, for a medical test this was. Pleasant experience. The front office staff was friendly. My technician was knowledgable and friendly. Hopefully I don't need another MRI, but if I do I'm definitely coming back to In Vision! read more

I don't have a lot to go on but have had three MRI's in my life at three different facilities and by far this was the best place I have ever been to. No wait, the facility was clean, modern, and comfortable, the staff friendly and professional, the price didn't break the bank and reasonable. No real complaints and would go back if I ever needed another MRI. My only complaint, and it's minor, cost them a star, and it's not directed at InVision (but is) is I can't stand how radiologists can't be bothered to interact with patients nor the fact they forget ME, not the ordering doctor, is the customer. That is radiologists everywhere in the US (though not internationally in my experience) and if InVision stepped up and actually took this extra mile, would give them five stars. Still don't take that as a huge critique as the other two places I would have rated 2 stars so InVision still the best, and by a lot, of any places I have been to. read more

Lobby was beautiful, big saltwater fish tank separating the two consultation rooms, the MRI itself was excellent with TV goggles and earplugs that cancelled out much of the noise from the MRI while listening to TV. I got in around the time of my appointment, staff was nice, complimentary cookies and they gave me a cold bottle of water and hot lavender towel when I left. Overall, an excellent experience. I have HMSA and my part of the bill after insurance was for $122.83 so it's not cheap, but a great place I'd return to if needed. read more

I thought I was in a spa when I came for my MRI! Best customer service! They put you in THE MOST COMFY clothes and put you in a back waiting area with a gorgeous fish tank wall and tell you that you can read magazines or play on the iPad there while you wait. I waited for about 3 minutes, so had time for neither. Was brought back and told exactly what to expect. The tech asked me if I was doing ok with every move he made and assured me that I would be comfortable. I was given the option of music or during the scan. I went with music and got to pick the genre. The tech even apologized that it sucked. Haha. Upon leaving, I was given a bag with warm lavender towels, water, and cookies.
