I'm disappointed in this experience today. No temperature check because of lifted restrictions. Coming into my appointment front desk was pleasant. The guy Will was the only one who introduced himself and was kind and explained everything as he went along. Got into the MRI staff member didn't introduce herself didn't go through the routine when I asked about the tv she said no we don't do that we have goggles and it won't fit. I asked and told her the last time I had a mirror to watch it since I have anxiety it helped tremendously she didn't say anything she just said nope we don't have it asked me if I wanted a blanket I said yes but she may have been annoyed with my questioning about the tv and me saying not able to hear the music and put me in the machine so I had to stop half way to ask for a blanket because it's cold. Also I had to adjust my ear plug. When leaving asked about the temperature taking but there was a different girl at the front desk as soon as I walked out she said okay your all set have a nice day but I had questions about if it was going to be sent to my two of my doctors and she said yes but she was trying to rush me out as soon as I walked into the front. I asked if they still did the little goodie bag and she said no because of covid I guess not checking anyone's temp is ok but the goodie bags are a no go. Kinda feel it went downhill I rescheduled with both my doctors to have my MRI done here because of how easy and calm and friendly environment it was my first experience and switched my MRI from queens to here. A Positive is Will (the guy) was cool and it still beats going to the hospital if your anxious about that type of settings etc. Maybe it's just a Sunday no one asked me if I was vaccinated or the regular covid questions even though the front desk person at the end of my appointment said they ask everyone well I wasn't asked so..... Queens maybe a better option now with the delta strain going around. Oh I forgot I was standing outside ringing the door bell for a while so I had to call them and tell them I was outside so they could let me in the building. read more

What an awesome place to have your MRI done!!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and just the decor of this place will take your breath away! Your comfort is their highest priority and they do everything in their power to make your experience a great one! The staff is super friendly! I showed up early for my appointment, everything was on time, so I had to wAit a little. There was this comfortable room with a reclining chair and an iPad to keep you company. There was also this gigantic fish tank that will soothe your soul as your are relaxing and waiting! Jason was my technician and he was very gentle, patient and professional! Coming from the Kaiser system,this was such a treat for me! Another bonus.... this office opens on weekends and in the evening... so convenient!!!! And one last touch.... a parting gift!!! Awesome experience! Chad is the best!!! I'm super claustrophobic but because of the glasses they give you to watch tv you don't feel like you're enclosed in a tube. He kept asking if I was ok and I even fell asleep twice. When you leave they give you and your driver water bottles, cookies and a hot towel. Nice touch! Relaxing atmosphere, has a spa feel to it. The pants and shirt are comfy that are worn during MRI instead of the normal hospital gown. The staff were all extremely nice and made sure you were comfortable and relaxed. MRIs aren't fun but the staff and ambiance made it bearable. Been here twice. One time for myself to do an MRI for my back and today for my daughter's elbow which got dislocated and possible tore or sprain. It is a very nice and relaxing facility. It is so nice n relaxing, it reminds me of of a day spa. The staff are very welcoming and nice. They'll even validate your parking ticket 100% as I was told. I'm actually still in the lobby waiting for my daughter. I am guessing the reason the Pediatric Orthopedic referred me here is because it is affiliated with HPH Straub or because of my insurance. If you have HMSA and is looking for a 5 star that does MRI, I highly recommend this place for you or someone you know who is looking for one. read more

Edited:9/8/18. Decided to reduce my review to 4 stars since I can't see any of my images from the DVD because it doesn't work on Apple products. I'd have to have a PC to view them and the doctor's office couldn't print out the views he showed me. May be something to look into being able to provide a product we can actually use. I really wanted to view the DVD to see what's going on my shoulder. Had a slight hiccup 8/31/18. They called to see if we could come in early so we headed down. Just before we got to the vineyard exit they call to say the machine part isn't working and if we could come back at my original scheduled time. No problem. Took the exit and headed back to Ewa. Arrived early for my scheduled time and they took me right away. Everyone was so pleasant and efficient. The place was immaculate. I had my own dressing room and locker, and got my own pair of socks to take home even though I didn't open the bag to use them. There's a relaxing fish tank to watch. At the end got a nice little bag with 2 bottled waters, one for me and my hubby, a nice warm lavender - scented towelette in its own bag, my cd with images on it and a gift card for having to cancel earlier after asking me to come in. I hope I can get all my MRIs here from now on. read more

This was definitely the nicest medical office I have been to. All the staff were extremely friendly, and check in went off without a hitch. There were apples to snack on in the waiting room, and newspaper and magazines to read. They gave us bottled water to drink and a hot towel to freshen up with after appt. And a bonus little reusable bag to carry all our stuff in! It made the MRI not as intimidating and cold as it would have been. Too bad all dr offices aren't taught to treat everyone so nice!!! The parking SUCKS! Very limited parking unless you keep going around & around the parking lot in hopes that someone will come out! I called InVision to have someone meet me outside with a wheelchair because my Boyfriend could hardly walk. Roi came out very fast which was really nice. We got in & the receptionist was pleasantly nice. The wait wasn't to long. Before we knew it Roi came out to get My Boyfriend. I asked him if I could go in. He said Yes, for a bit! wasn't sure what that meant! Well, walked into the waiting area inside this entire walkway of waiting rooms. Roi seemed distant but, as if He was just doing his job! Not too Happy that He was there! He asked my Boyfriend a line of questions that was already written on the questionere sheet they told me to fill out not 5 minutes ago! Seems he was just going through formality! The Girls that we passed in the hallway which I forgot to mention... as we walked passed them All 3 of them just looked @ us & did not even say anything! One smiled but, the other 2 just was caught up with images they were looking at!! No need to say Good Morning to Patients that are paying for your wages or Patients that are feeling uncomfortable for reasons their there anyway! Someone needs to get these Workers into Customer Service classes or teach them what compassion is!! Well, Now before Roi took My Boyfriend in I asked him if I was to stay in that waiting room? He didn't even flinch to look @ me! Just said No! You need to go outside in the lobby! I asked Him if I could stay in there? Again..He didn't even turn to look @ me! Just said No!! You need to go in the Lobby area!! Already trying to deal with the reason I'm here!!! Dealing with BAD personalities or workers with bad mornings in this place is NOT good for Invision!!! read more

A couple of years ago, I had an MRI at InVision Imaging and was blown away by the spa-like experience and awesome staff. Tonight I had another one and the experience was just like my first one. The front office staff greeted me very friendly and courteously. The decor was still as fabulous as before (I work at a hotel with an amazing spa and this place is just as great). The technician was kind and efficient and the whole process sped by. I am so glad that a place like this exists and though I've had to have two MRIs, it's been in a warm and comfortable environment. I seriously do NOT understand how this place got 5 stars!!! The service is terrible! We have been waiting for an hour and we even arrived 10 minutes early to our appointment! And none of the staff ever apologized for the wait or offered a time frame of our appointment actually being started. So disappointing. And we heard multiple patients complaining as well about the wait while we waited our turn! And not once did any of the staff pay any attention to the patients waiting patiently in the waiting room. I'm not sure what "great experience" everyone else is talking about, but I can honestly say I'm sad that a place with great reviews would be so bad that I actually wanted to write a negative review about them. I can rave on and on about Invision. I had a prior MRI done elsewhere on Oahu late 2020 and it was a very negative experience. Treated like a dish to be washed, no explanations shared, could not hear or see or communicate clearly with technician, etc. Prayed my way thru the ordeal. I am a "can do" person but I sat in my car for 15 minutes after MRI before I even felt OK to drive! Took me many months to work up courage for more MRI tests prescribed. Almost did not consent to more. Switched to Invision for the second round and it was a totally better, brighter, easier time. Phone calls were excellent and concise prior. Even though the waiting room and prep areas were dramatically improved, the key there is really the people, their communication, their setup, and their care toward me as a human being. The machine was a tad wider, I could hear and see and be heard the entire time, I listened to my chosen music, and there was no guessing or mystery at any time. I could return anytime there for tests and be at peace. It is so freeing to know that there is such a compassionate place to go should I ever need more imaging. read more

Came early, waited to be seem, asked how long it would take because I had family coming back to pick me up, family had to wait an hr longer than office staff told me because this office took SO LONG. I've had several MRIs and I'm farmiliar w the procedure but keeping waiting and having an almost 3 hr appointment for a knee is really, really poor service. Wow - just had a great experience at their office. I was also impressed by the professionalism of their staff when scheduling the visit. This was the best medical office I have been to bar none. I was amazed at the attention to detail in making a relaxed and inviting atmosphere in the waiting room, changing room, etc... It really felt like I was going in for a massage not an MRI. Excellent!.....Staff are very friendly and facility is a Spa atmosphere! The Medical Arts Building, which this place resides in, is very deceiving on the exterior. Looks like hell on the outside, but once you walk into InVision, its like you're in heaven. This was the first MRI I've ever done and if I ever do anymore, I'd want go back. I got the 15 min before my appointment, signed a few papers, which took less than 5 min. I was called in a few minutes after my 7:30pm app't. The technician, Julie, introduced herself and took me into a private room. There, she asked several questions. Then she had me wait there while she preps the MRI room. While I wait, I could use their ipad to kill time. Several minutes later, Julie took me to the room....she gave me ear plugs, placed headphones and goggles. You could listen to music or watch cable tv....I opted ESPN. Laid down....took 30-40 min. I had a knee MRI done, so not sure if the time length depends on the location of the scan. Julie was awesome....so was the staff at the front desk. As I was leaving, they offered me and my family Waiwera water and a few hot lavender terry cloth towels. My wife and 5 year old son enjoy the wait because it was so comfortable. I recommend this place big time, so if you need your MRI done, urge your Dr to have it done @InVision! :) read more

Good place to get something you don't want to get... an MRI. I actually first got an X-Ray there, which was super fast. Then I had to get an MRI. Thank goodness it found what was wrong. Once diagnosed... SO EASY to work on getting better. Staff was fast and friendly. The longest part was the actual MRI. Gotta lay still. You hear loud banging. I still dozed off and they kept me warm with a blanket. Very nice office. read more

Needed to get an MRI done and my friends recommended InVision. Highly impressed with their operations. They Ace customer service. Think of the Four Seasons of MRI. My dealings with their front desk was very pleasant, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As soon as you are brought to the back you are given a locker and clothed in scrubs. I felt like I was at a Resort Spa. You are then taken to a secondary waiting room which is very relaxing. Lastly you are taken to the MRI room. They give you ear plugs and Heavy Duty Headphones. I could see how people could get claustrophobic, but everything is lit. The sounds the Machine makes are a mixture of knocks and space sounds out of a sci-fi movie. I closed my eyes most of the time, mainly because I was tired. After the imaging the front desk gives you a awesome care package. I really liked this feature, it definitely differentiates themselves from other MRI places. Highly recommend. Had no issues with Parking since appointment was after 5pm. However front desk said parking is covered by InVision. read more

This is a spa like imaging center. Serene environment. They have you change into scrubs if needed, give you socks with gripper soles which you can take home, there are lockers where you can lock your stuffs in. Backroom where they do their screening has a beautiful salt water fish tank and also an iPad to use. I didn't wait too long so didn't really get to use the ipad. Being in the MRI was really uncomfortable especially being in there for 45 min or so and trying to stay still. I had an ankle MRI so that leg was padded so it won't move but my other leg was on something and it started to tense up and locked up since there was no support under my knee. I was trying my best to stay still. The earplugs, headphones and TV goggles helped. Back was sore after it was done. I guess more padding is needed on the table? After you're done, they give you a water bottle, hot towel, offer cookies and apple. Otherwise everything was great. read more

I'm so happy to have done my MRI here. As soon as you walk into the door, the magic begins. This place should get a 10. The receptionist is so nice and friendly. It's also very clean. They make sure you are comfortable, warm and relaxed. My 1st go to person was a guy named Noi! Your #1. Then, the technician, didn't get her name, makes sure not only comfortable, but tells you step by step what's going to happen. They also give you a goodie bag while you wait for a copy of your MRI. The first time I went there was when I had to get an xray of my left shoulder. I went in and the front desk was very friendly. I filled out my paper work and waited no more than 10 minutes before I was called to go down stairs to get my xray. I forget the name of my tech, but he was great....super fast. The second time I went there was for an MRI. I was kinda scared because I didn't know what to expect. I had never had one before. So when I went in there, the front desk girl remembered me from the week before, which I thought was great. She explained to me that the MRI would take about 45 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes I was called in and they had me change into scrubs and they even gave me a pair of socks just in case I got cold. I locked my things in a locker and took the key. I was then whisked away to another room where they did a mini consultation. After that was done the tech asked me if I needed a blanket. What? What service!!!!! Then he said it would be a couple of minutes, so I could either look at the magazines or use the mini ipad!!! Say what? A ipad? After probably 20 minutes he came back in and asked me if I was okay and that it would be another 5 minutes. So I finally get to the MRI room and I am passed on to another tech. She is very sweet. She asks me if I need a blanket. I tell her I don't and she has me sit on the bed and scoot up till my shoulder is flushed against the shoulder mold. She explains everything that she is going to do and gives me ear plugs. She then asks me if I want to watch tv or listen to music, I opt for the tv. So she puts a pair of eye goggles on me and tells me to relax. As she's pushing me into the coffin, she's talking to me putting me at ease. During the whole process she is constantly asking me how i'm doing and if I need the tv louder. As I was leaving the front desk girl asked me if I wanted water. They give you ice cold bottled water and a warm lavender towel. I love this place. If you've never had an MRI, I highly suggest you watch tv. It keeps your mind off of going into the coffin. If you're claustrophobic let them know. This is a great place to do your xray's or any type of digital imaging. They are located in the medical Arts Building right across from McKinley high school. They have tons of parking and they validate. read more

This place is always busy so it is difficult to find convenient appointment times but all the staff that I talked to were super helpful, personable and beyond nice. I ended up getting an 8pm appt sort of against my will but the parking was abundant and free and the facilities are very modern and nice. You have your own changing room with a locker for your belongings and they have a nice, clean restroom for you. They even have a beautiful fish tank in the waiting room they take you too along with an iPad and magazines to keep you entertained while waiting. Once in the MRI, the techs are very attentive and helpful. I've never had a MRI where I could also watch TV and I cant imagine my almost 2 hour scanning time without this feature. I thought the goggles would be weird and possibly hurt my eyes but they were better than expected. They were running really late the day I went but they called to let me know and were very apologetic the whole time I was there, which I really appreciated. It's not something that they can fully control since it relies so much on patients. They even give you a little goodie bag with a copy of your images after. Overall, I'd rather avoid imaging but if it needs to be done I will always ask to come here. read more

Beautiful place. Great staff. I worked with Michelle during my 1 hr 45 min MRI and she was outstanding. I'm a big guy and at that time only the smaller machine was available. I'm also claustrophobic. Once the procedure started, Michelle kept checking in on me to make sure I was alright. Something about her voice was so comforting. It made me feel relaxed and also helped me to breathe. read more

I just did my MRI today. The order went in on Tuesday and I was able to get a 4:45 pm appt. for Friday. Friday morning I got a call from InVision with a few questions and I was told that they had a cancellation and would I like to come in at 12noon instead? WooHoo! Of course! Even though I knew I would have to be careful about eating since I'm diabetic and on insulin. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the pleasing aesthetics of the place. Changing into the pajamas they provide was not a problem. I understand that this is a safety requirement. I have read that there is a possibility of getting radiation burns from tiny metal microfibers in some clothing especially athletic garb. I was surprised by the goodie bag of cookies and bottled water, but I really appreciated it. I was thirsty because of my anxiety taking the MRI and my sugar level was dropping so the cookies came in handy. Oh, and the lavender scented hot towel felt refreshing and helped to relax me after the MRI. I just want to say Thank You because I know I was a little grumpy because I was in pain and anxious. I want you to know that I did appreciate the care that you showed me. read more

I just came from my MRI appt and it was as good as an MRI appt could possibly be! They give you a beautiful changing and waiting area, as well as magazines or an IPAD to use. The staff was friendly and professional and when I went into the actual MRI room they had a heated blanket and relaxing music. Then, they gave me a gift bag when I left with water and cookies and a moist towelette! I had a busy day of flying over to Oahu from Maui for several Dr appts and they made it so much better! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The customer service is above and beyond any person's reasonable expectations. I had to reschedule due to work conflicts - several times. They were professional, helpful, friendly, and willing to work around my busy schedule. The waiting areas are comfortable; ipads are provided for entertainment, and warmed towels are offered in case you get a chill. My MRI was performed on time - actually the worker took me a little early. Before I left I was given a small gift bag with water and a warm hand towel. Even the decor was impeccable. Mediocre at best... definitely not the technologically advanced experience that is touted on their website: no iPads, no VR goggles, no music on demand, and their DVD machine was broken so had to wait for imaging to be sent to doctor (rather than "ready in 20 minutes" that they claim). And then the cost was significantly higher than expected due to the type of imaging (MRI with contrast vs. "arthrogram"), which would have been nice to know about in advance rather than after the fact. Staff was all very nice and helpful, nothing against anyone there. Beyond waiting areas, the rooms don't seem particularly well cared for... some staining on walls in X-ray room made me question sterility of the environment I was in. This was supposed to be a less expensive and more convenient option than going to Queen's imaging, but in light of the cost and services received, I think I'd have been better off just going to the hospital. read more
