Charged my CC for 3 batteries while shipped only 2 held in stock. It's been over 18 days and still waiting to get a credit back for the over charge. The regs require the 100 lb battery to be shipped on a pallet. They poorly packed in a carboard boxes and arrived damaged. Poor customer service, poor shipping QC. read more

Review of Victron Skylla-IP65 Chargers (2x 12/70A units) I purchased two Skylla-IP65 chargers to support a 640Ah LiFePO battery bank, and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing. Positives: Solid physical build and weather-resistant design. Capable of high charging current in theory. Failures / Issues: LiFePO support is poorly executed. The dedicated lithium mode locks charging voltage at 14.2V, which is too low for many LiFePO banks. It cannot be increased from the front panel, and requires external hardware just to unlock basic configurability. Charging performance is unreliable. Current drops off far too early, meaning the batteries never receive a full bulk charge. No easy manual control. A simple "force bulk" option is missing, leaving you stuck waiting for the unit to do what it wants. Documentation is vague. Critical limitations of the modes are not clearly explained, forcing trial-and-error. Customer Service Experience: About two weeks after receiving the units, I called to explain that these chargers could not be configured correctly for a larger LiFePO bank. Perhaps they might work for a smaller system, but not mine. The person I spoke with was rude--he talked over me repeatedly, then told me I could return them only with a 15% restocking fee. On a $1,600+ purchase, that meant over $200 lost simply because their product doesn't do what it claims. When I objected, he brushed me off and said their technical service would call me. No one did for a month and a half. When I finally reached a tech, he admitted these chargers cannot be properly configured for my bank without buying additional Victron hardware (a Cerbo GX). In other words, the solution to a problem with their product is to spend even more money. Overall: Between the technical shortcomings and the dismissive, slow support, I cannot recommend these chargers. For the price and Victron's reputation, I expected far better. Instead, I've been left with frustration, poor performance, and the sense that Victron is more interested in selling add-ons than making their products work as advertised. read more

I had purchased and my Victron inverter went bad. Where I had the issue was trying to get waranty repair. After several emails and phone calls, I got a tech to help me. He said he would send out the instructions to get the inverter back to them for repair. Well I never got that email and a month later, I called customer service. The tech I spoke with never noted the account and the ball was dropped big time. I got the same responce this time when I called in, so we will see if I get the return email, or I will have to take my business eltswhere. read more

Ordered an open box item through their website. Charge went through to CC but I received no product. Called and the first CSR couldn't even find the order, asked for a manager. Manager found it but it showed payment pending. Checked with CC company and they assured me payment of $79.73 had been made. Check again with Inverters R Us but they maintain no payment received. The sketchy part however it my invoice was for the $79.73 plus $3.59 in taxes for a total of $83.32. Why send charge for $79.73 to CC company? Scam? Had to dispute charge through CC company - still pending. read more

Don't buy from this company. I bought a soft start kit from them and it died - no biggie I've since called them about 5 times to resolve it and had zero luck. Call #1 - I reached customer service and they said I had to call back to talk to tech support because they couldn't transfer calls Call #2 - I left a detailed message about my issue. They called back, but I couldn't pick up the phone. They left a message telling me to call them back despite them already having the information. Why couldn't they just leave a message providing advice on what to do? Call #3 - No Response Call #4 - No Response Call #5 - Pissed off on this call and made it clear I was pissed off now after calling 5 times. Some companies you look at them and think: Does anybody here give a s***? Or is a complete lack of competence? This should have been resolve in about 3 minutes on call #1. Instead, it's 3 weeks and multiple calls later and zero progress has been made on resolving the issue. read more

My inverter gets hit by lightning .So i need to find an inverter fairly quick.So i see they have an open box victron that would work nicely .So i purchased inverter. Than received a confirmation email receipt .I wait a day to find out when it will be shipped .And the response was i didnt really purchase the inverter I was only billed .So I asked for a refund so now they got my money and I got no power .5 days later Still no refund .I called and suggested they fix there glitch about selling items they dont have.i think they are talking crap he says system is fixed but they still have not issued a credit.I will never deal with this company again .I felt I have been lied to from 2 different people . read more

Appreciate the reviews. Almost made the mistake of ordering from Inverters R US until I read some of the reviews. They must pay Amazon more to be the first on the list for Victron equipment. Need it quick and they offered Sunday delivery. Went into a some of the other sellers and found Bay Marine. I've ordered from them before and they are fast and have great reviews. I can attest to that with the orders I have received from them previously. Theirs comes Monday but from the reviews it's worth waiting an extra day. read more

Updating review. Originally ordered one part from them via Amazon and received a wrong, much cheaper part. I was told to reorder the part directly from the company and did so. Company refused to refund complete price paid via Amazon, blaming Amazon who they sell a product through. Amazon did honor the A to Z prime warranty and refund all of the money I had paid for the original purchase. When I had called to speak with a representative at Inverters R US, the lady initially told me she would give me a 10% discount for all the problems of getting the correct product in a timely manner from them. This did not happen. At least I got the right part finally. If I am looking for any more solar parts via Amazon, I will make sure it's not sold by this company. read more

I made the mistake of ordering direct from Inverters R US instead of through Amazon like I had done previously, without issue. They sent a defective solar controller. I contacted them as soon as I discovered the problem (within 5 days of the products arriving). I don't want my money back, I just want a replacement unit. They expect me to send the defective product back, on my dime, then they will test it and decide what they will do. The right answer is to send me a shipping label for this brand new defective item and send out a new replacement unit immediately upon receipt of the defective unit. Again, I'm just looking for a replacement, not a refund. Who knows how long their "testing" will take as it takes a couple days for the problem to appear after resetting the bluetooth by completely disconnecting the power from the unit. Based upon the calls to their customer service, and based on some reviews of others, I think I know how this will play out: They will claim it is fine because they won't wait the time for the failure to occur. Then they will demand I pay them to send the defective unit back to me, all the while I won't have a fully functioning solar controller. I have purchased five Victron items through these guys (Amazon or, sadly, directly). There won't be a sixth. read more

Ordered some 2/0 welding cables from Spartan Power, which appears to be part of the business since email came from invertersrus.com. I was impressed with the quick fabrication and quick delivery. However, during installation one of the lugs just came off. When I called the only option for their so called guarantee was to send back the cable. Since it had taken hours to remove the cable that was being replaced and more hours to install their new cable, it was a worthless remedy. I asked if they would somehow remedy the time it would take for the repair. Even send me the remake as a spare. No compromise, no satisfaction. I would not do business with them again. read more

Inverters R Us Sep 18, 2021 This company is corrupt. They lie about their products and defend those dishonest employees who lie. They state that Aimes converters in their inventory are made in the USA in their Reno, Nevada plant, and this is untrue, as items described as being made in the USA are not. Surprise! a bold MADE IN CHINA label is pasted on the item as it arrives on your doorstep, versus what their deceptive sales staff had reported in the sales talk. There are also reviews on this item that are not good, as I discovered later. The company's false reviews say this item is of good quality. The fact is that Chinese manufacturers of inverters sell inverters at a cheap price because they do not do even provide a minimum of quality inspections of their sales item. I returned this falsely described Chinese junk and have not up to point, a week later, received a refund. Thankfully Paypal may step in. PLEASE AVOID THIS DISHONEST PEDDLER OF JUNK AT ALL COSTS. read more

Called them on 11/5/18, received great advice, and ordered what I needed from THIER website. As of today, the inverter has not arrived. They are located about 100 miles away from me so shouldn't take this long for shipping. So I sent an email yesterday evening but didn't see a reply by 10:30 this morning. OK, maybe they have not gone through their inbox yet, I get that ... so I called. Guess what, they are closed today! Yikes, I need the inverter for a trip that I'm going on which is why I ordered it two weeks in advance. Anyway, I cancelled the order and ordered the exact same item from Amazing (lol). And the brick and mortar stores wonder why they are losing business. Poor customer service! So, if you want advice, I would give them five stars. However, they are a retail outlet and their lack of communication (i.e. send me an email if item is delayed) combined with the non-shipment of goods drops this frim down several stars. As a reference, I consider three stars average (which by definition most places are!) although folks seem to think three is bad. read more

Because this was a very large purchase, I researched the companies that were fulfilling battery orders for Amazon and InvertersRUs appeared to be a reputable business. My Purchase was for a new SOK battery. What I received was a used battery that had screws removed and the case had been opened, which voids the manufacturer warranty. I contacted customer service for Inverters R Us within an hour of receiving the package. The representative asked for pictures of the battery which I provided. He was shocked at the condition of the battery and said he contacted the president of the company to determine what they would do to make this right for their customer. The answer I received today was that I could return the battery at my own expense ($86.26) if I want to get a refund, or I could keep the battery with the voided warranty. There was a time when businesses stood behind the products they sold. Sadly, InvertersRUs is not one of those companies. I would not recommend purchasing anything sold by InvertersRUs. read more
