Jacob ghosted once I asked him to put together a proposal/contract for his monthly services. I should've suspected when he scheduled an estimate for 11 and then didn't show up until 1145, after I called to check in. That being said, Jacob was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable and by the book. As a former HOA President, I know not to get into any long-term agreements without having the terms and services of that agreement written down. I recently discovered a termite problem; they were falling out of our bathroom fan/vent. So gross! Not knowing who to turn to, I put a call out on NextDoor. I received a notification from a young man named Jacob, who gave me his number to call. He came out the following week and did a complete inspection, inside and out. He assured me that tenting wasn't going to be necessary, and that he could spot-treat the termites, and he would spray both inside and out for other bugs (spiders, beetles, random creepy-crawlers) at a price I felt comfortable with. Jacob came and did the job himself (which I appreciate so much: I dislike it when you start with a random salesperson, and then complete strangers come to do the job, with yet another coming to collect payment. Not here!). The spraying took about 2-1/2 hours, and Jacob worked fast, efficiently, and cleanly; he even hauled away the rotting wood (blessings!). He was very professional, serious about his business, and handled all of my concerns with patience and grace. BEWARE -- I Would Not Recommend This Business I paid $700 for pest control services under a contract that included ongoing service through December 2026, including cleaning rat droppings from my attic. Jacob Melendez came out on July 20, 2026, and returned twice to address the traps. After the last visit, he stopped responding. I called, texted, emailed, and reached out through social media multiple times with no response. I eventually hired another exterminator to inspect the work. They provided photographs showing areas that had not been properly addressed and raised concerns about the crawl-space vents installed, stating they were improperly installed and made of very thin material that could allow rats to enter. I have my contract, proof of payment, photographs, and documentation from the second exterminator. I have requested a $700 refund, but the business has made no attempt to resolve the issue. Sharing my experience so others can be cautious and thoroughly research this business before paying for services. read more

Amazing service from Invasive Pest Control. Unfortunately I am currently dealing with a rat problem in my attic and Invasive Pest Control was the first to respond to my request on yelp. They reached out to me in less than a minute of my posting and Jennifer was extremely helpful over the phone on even trying to figure out what my issue could possibly be. After scheduling a free home inspection, Jacob was able to come out the next day. This was after talking to another pest control service in Irvine that could only come out 12 days later which in my case, would be ridiculous to wait that long. As others have said, Jacob is extremely professional, friendly and makes sure the job is done right. He arrived on time and got straight to the issue, also inspecting my house for any other potential pests, such as termites or spiders that I might have. Invasive Pest Control's prices are very good and Jacob will make sure you're getting the best coverage and price for your pest issues. He went through my entire house, including the attics and outside of the house. He found where the flies were coming from, which was behind my stove. Apparently a lizard got back there and died. Don't be put off by the guys looking so young! They know what they are doing! I've had issues with rats inside the walls of my 1950's house for years. Jacob totally surveyed the building for entrances that the rats were using, and he found a big nest inside the back wall. OMG. He is so knowledgeable about rodents and their habits.
