He was also well fed and Pat ensured all of my dogs food allergies were addressed and followed. There are some other (unnecessarily expensive) dog places around Sebastopol but I finally decided to use Lone Pine Dogs Daycare as my pets primary place because I could just tell that my dog was way more happier and well taken care of at Pats place. We like that the staff understands Jack and are careful not to overwhelm him with too many other dogs all at once. They are taking a careful and tailored approach for Jack, which is exactly what we were hoping for when we started with the daycare program. I met the owner, Wendy, the other day when I picked Jack up from daycare. She was checking in on the dogs and staff. She is kind, caring, and seems to be very knowledgeable about all kinds of dog breeds and behaviors. The office staff also deserves positive feedback, they kindly changed my daycare appointment today at no extra cost when I couldn't make the appointment. It's also the reason for writing this positive review today. Overall, Olivet Kennel is a professional run facility with an online booking system that still feels like a family business that you can trust. The kennel is clean and inviting. It seems unprofessional to let sick dogs stay there but I guess they just care about money. Also I had prepaid for a daycare package. When I tried to use it they told me that it had expired during the time my dog was sick. I told Stephanie there's no way I could use the prepaid package while my dog was sick. She had not been in contact with any other dogs so I am 100% certain she caught it at Olivet. They never did honor the daycare pass I paid for and told me "sorry but it expired". Seemed odd for them to be so stubborn about a policy after my dog almost died because of them allowing sick dogs to stay there. I paid over $2000 in vet bills because of them and my dog nearly died. You've been warned, proceed with caution.

She was friendly and kind when meeting us and our puppy. The entire front office staff was also super helpful in scheduling our assessment and the following training appointments. They worked together perfectly to help keep us on course with all our training and follow-up information. After we decided to enroll our puppy in training, the training staff (Kobie, Ashley, Sophie and Geraldine) were fantastic!! They worked closely with us to slowly train Raider. He was introduced to other dogs, learned to heel perfectly on a leash, obey commands, come on command, and sit patiently every time we stop walking. These trainers are truly exceptional! The apparent lack organization/reliability doesn't make me feel comfortable trusting my dog in their care. To top it off, my dog has had terrible diarrhea since staying there. Really wanted to like this place so pretty disappointed :/ Update: She still has diarrhea and have now seen reviews from others who's dogs have contracted Giardia here. Jacob is honestly a God-send. We decided to do a 3 week board and train, and It was the best thing for him! He has settled down so much, developed a routine, stays at my side while walking/on leash and the resource guarding has gone down significantly too. Jacob not only trains the dogs, but trains the owner too. Proper leash handling, correcting bad behavior, phrases/words/tones to use and even tips to help us with our dogs motion sickness in the car. Jacob is an incredible trainer especially with the stubborn dogs! He also boards my dog while I'm away and my dog always feels comfortable and comes home happy and in the best health! 10/10 couldn't recommend a trainer more!

She's kind and calm and the dogs love her. We also go weekly to the puppy socialization group. The puppies have a lot of fun. It's good for them. They learn to play with other dogs, which is good so that hopefully when they're older there shouldn't be a problem with other dogs.
