I've been going to Jon for about a year now and truly, all of the rave reviews here are well-deserved. Jon is both exceptionally knowledgeable and caring. While I've had massage therapists in the past that were great, Jon's knowledge and ability surpass any therapist I've known in the past. I'm amazed at how he can track that my pain over there is caused by something over there, and find a tender spot that releases. He employs all sorts of methods to get you feeling better, such as PNF, that have great results. His home studio is so lovely and relaxing, and he has excellent cleanliness and safety procedures in place, including a sanitizing air filter. Highly recommend! read more

Do not hesitate to book an appointment with Jon! I have had massages from almost 20 different therapists from having worked at a massage therapy office and none have compared to him. He used so many different tools in one session it would have cost me $100+ in add ons had I gone to other chain location. I am incredibly tense and find it hard to relax - I left my appointment feeling like I was walking on air. He truly understands the body and keeps up with the latest research to constantly incorporate new techniques. He took the time to show me stretches and tips to take home. Speaking of homes, Jon operates out of his home office. It is impeccably clean, relaxing, and comfortable. He took every preventative measure to ensure the session is safe given the COVID pandemic! I can't wait to book my next appointment, I can already feel my aches and pains lessen. read more

I really enjoyed my massage and body work with Jon, and he is truly one of the friendliest people Ive met. Even though his studio is located at his personal home (something a lot of women should and are skeptical about), he instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. Now my only issue was that I needed some serious deep tissue action for my shoulder and neck, and I didn't get enough to fix the issue. I felt miles better after leaving Jon's house but the crick in my neck/shoulder didn't fully go away. I ended up going to my usual lady a week later and she beat the crap outta me with her hands and that did the trick. I would definitely go back to see Jon if I was looking for something a little more relaxing. I did love that his massages are very unique and comforting, not traditional in the slightest. He also offers first time customers a killer deal so try him out and see what you think. read more

Jon is an exceptional massage therapist. Everytime I see him I feel more alive when I leave. He is gifted in this business and I am fortunate to have found him. Thank you, Jon! PS. He's the BEST read more

I could go on and on but I will keep it simple. I am very choosy with massage therapists. We each have our own likes. But I consider Jon to be Master Massage Therapist. I have not met anyone til now who is so engaged in learning and understanding the body while developing and adapting their techniques with sincere care for the individual. read more

Holy grail of massage! Unique techniques that provide the ultimate relief. Jon is tuned in to the whole body, thereby addressing the underlying issues causing tension and pain. Book him and see for yourself. You will not regret it. Thank you a million times over Jon! read more

My massage with Jon was awesome. He really focused on my problem areas and was able to sense where my pain was. He took his time learning about my needs during the initial consultation and made me feel comfortable. I definitely left relaxed and pain free. No doubt I'll be making my second appointment soon. read more

Jon is amazing!!! He knew the exact areas that needed the most attention and he gave me some great tips/exercises that I can do from home that will also help. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Very zen and calming. I loved it. Super nice and friendly guy. I am definitely going back for sure. read more

I have been on the hunt for a massage therapist. It had been years since I've had a massage (over a decade - that's what having a kid will do to your once cool life style). I have been dealing/ignoring a frozen right shoulder for about 4 years. I decided to actually try and fix the issue this year. Went to an orthopedic doctor and they gave me cortisone and physical therapy. My shoulder felt better after 4 weeks of PT. I started back to the gym and it slowly started to hurt again (it never fully cleared in PT but at least I had more mobility) - had issues lifting weights over 10lbs, etc. I decided to search out a massage therapist to help me since I just ached overall. I went to the MT at my local gym. Youch. My shoulder ached for 3 days after that visit and I would wake during the night when I slept on my affected side. It felt no better - if maybe slightly worse than previous. Next stop was Jon. I was a touch nervous as a woman going to an in home therapist who was a man (I didn't want to end up in the planter in the back yard). I screenshot his info and sent it to friends in case they didn't hear from me again. :) I arrived at Jon's house. He greeted me and I sat in his living room. He had forms that needed completion so he knew what issues I had or didn't have. He was friendly and his house is nice. He showed me to the room and gave me time to undress. By this time I was more comfortable with Jon and took the leap of faith. He talks you through what he is doing and I had some good laughs. Jon is not your typical "spa" massage therapist. He is quite methodical and looking to work with you to solve issues. I'm pretty tight in my muscles and he did some stretching exercises like I would do with a physical therapist. That was new for me. I always thought of massages as not much interaction - they massage you and then you left hopefully relaxed. He focuses on the issues you called out and hits the other areas as time allows (I did a 90 minute massage as I now think 60 is useless unless they are working on a specific problem area and nothing else). Let me just say that by the time I walked out of his room, I had the ability to turned my head to the right (something that cause pain for about 4 weeks) and my arm mobility had greatly increased and I didn't have pain. What?? I didn't even have pain in the days following. He gave me pointers on what I could do to keep the muscles supporting my shoulder stretched until I saw him again. I did see him the following week. I will definitely be back and Jon will now be a part of my overall physical fitness. I even prebooked him for the afternoon after running the RocknRoll Half Marathon in Jan 2017. :) I do have another MT scheduled for October that I purchased via Groupon back in July prior to finding Jon, but I know Jon will be the person going forward because 1. He's really good; 2. He's professional; 3. convenient location to my workplace. If you're looking for that spa experienced (think robes, glass of wine, no interaction with the MT, etc.), I'm not sure if Jon is what you are looking for, but if you have issues and want to feel better when you walk out, then look no further. Thank you, Jon! :) read more

Jon is phenomenal! I can't sing enough praises about how intuitive he is. Not only did he sense problem areas I wasn't aware of but he employs a plethora of modalities to get your body feeling it's best. He genuinely cares about the wellness of his clients and it shows once you have the pleasure of laying on his massage table. I can't recommend his intuitive touch enough! Thank you Jon and see you soon read more

AMAZING experience for my first time getting a massage. Right away I felt welcomed by how informative and positive Jon is. Over all I'll be going back! read more

I first found Jon several years ago when I had severe shoulder pain radiating down my arm and could not lift it easily. The Dr I saw recommended surgery and physical therapy after several tests. I wanted to try alternative therapies first before resorting to surgery. I decided to seek out someone who had neural muscular and SMRT work as part of their arsenal. Jon's ability to hone in and work out the real issue was nothing short of a miracle after months of severe pain and discomfort. Turns out it was some muscle in my armpit creating complete chaos. After several sessions and homework he gave me for home stretches and exercise I was back to 100% mobility and avoided surgery. I have continued to see Jon for maintenance, relaxation and the best healing body work I've ever had. If you have specific issues or just need a powerful relaxing massage please book and go for 90 minutes or it seems way too short. I assure you he is the best! read more

AMAZING! My boyfriend and I were looking for a massage and found Jon on Yelp! We both had an amazing experience yesterday. Jon is very very knowledgeable and takes the time to understand exactly what you need and how you feel. The studio in his house is very relaxing and very professional. Highly recommend! My boyfriend had injuries in his shoulder and knee and for the first time after 6 months, he felt a huge improvement - without pain this morning. My massage was also perfect, a mix of techniques with deep tissue that made me feel very relaxed. If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and go see Jon! He will make you feel wonderful. I live in Los Angeles, and can't wait to see him in a couple of months. read more

During my visit to Arizona I decided to book a massage and found a gem named Jon. Jon, if you're reading this, can I convince you to move to Chicago? We need you here! This was one of the best massages I've received in years. If you have anxiety, Jon knows his stuff and he has a great technique that helped me to relieve my stress and and anxiety that I carry with me. He's also more than willing to share his knowledge with you if you're open to learning. My session with Jon was the first time I left a masseuse feeling like a problem had been addressed and not just bandaged. It is clear Jon cares about his clients by the way he makes your massage unique to your needs -- and he discovers what you need simply by his intuitive touch (it really is well named). He'll teach you along the way and leave you with plenty of suggestions on how to care for yourself afterwards. I can't recommend him highly enough. (Plus a 90 minute session for $45 for new clients is incredible.) Enjoy! read more

I was a first time customer after finding Jon on a search online and was blown away! He is very skilled in soft tissue work and helped me work out some tendonitis in my hands and wrist. Booked 60 min but he went well over to make sure I was balanced and that he covered everything. Would highly reccomend! read more

I made a last minute appt for my hubby who threw out his back. He had 2 chiro appts and still wasn't helping and starting to have trouble walking. Jon got him in on a Sunday last minute and was a miracle worker. The next morning my husband could move better and by afternoon he said he felt 100% better. I am anxious to schedule my appointment with him now. read more

I was in Arizona for the Phoenix open and happened upon INTUITIVE Massage. It was exceptional and I highly recommend it!

I have been getting my body work from Jon at Intuitive Touch Massage for two years now and feel like I have finally found "that guy"......you know, the one you have been trying to find at the massage franchises that never seems to exist or doesn't stay long if you do. He is reliable, educated in his field, GOOD at what he does, and he is just an all around sweet natured person. I would suggest trying a small business owner that CARES about what he puts out there and in return you can feel good about your dollars staying in AZ and helping out "the guy" who keeps overhead low...Call Intuitive Touch Massage and tell him Kim sent you! read more

Jon truly is intuitive. I had been experiencing prolonged shoulder pain and found him on Yelp early one morning. I texted him at 8, and by 8:45, I was getting one of the best massages. He's kind and does a thorough job not just with pain management but also with providing a truly relaxing experience. read more

A GREAT massage!!! Jon was able to get me in in one hour on a day when I was in alot of pain, as well as it being my first visit. Jon was amazing, I do not have enough words to describe the amazing massage experience I had with Jon. This was by far the best massage experience I have ever had, and I will be returning. Jon is professional, does fantastic work, is personable, and has amazing prices that are worth every penny and then some! I will always support local business until the very end, and that's why I found Jon on Yelp and went to him. I will making another appointment in the next few weeks, I've never been so refreshed. I've seen Jon a few times and he is a very talented therapist. He is very intuitive and can feel what's going on in your body. Afterwards I always felt so refreshed and my neck pain was almost completely gone. Unfortunately I moved to CA so I have no longer been able to see him! But I highly recommend him to anyone who is suffering from chronic pain or any type of physical ailment. His confidence will make you feel very comfortable from your first meeting with him. read more

John was fantastic! I'm by no means a connoisseur of massage, but he was professional, courteous, and gave me a great deal (one ever better than the one I had found online). I went in a couple of months after having a pretty intense surgery, and he totally helped re-awaken all of my muscles while also being sensitive to my incision and aches. I would definitely recommend him! read more

I have been going to Jon for about a year now. He is very professional and listens to your needs. I had hip surgery a year ago and he has helped me a lot in mobility and just overall feeling better. If there is any kind of muscle ache you have, Jon can fix it. I've gone to several other massage therapists before Jon and could never find one that really listened to the work I needed until I met Jon. I like relaxing massages as long as I can get work done as well and relieve any knots and tight and sore muscles and that's what Jon can do. Highly recommend you try him at least once. He's truly talented. read more
