I called them, told them my problem and they said come right in and said they would first: see if my PC could be fixed and, if not, second: load my laptop. Well, that afternoon they saw I needed a new hard drive on my PC, put one in and loaded my backup onto the newly installed hard drive. I returned my new laptop. Their quote was more than 2x the others in Santa Fe strictly because of the line item for 40 hours of labor for 2 people - for wireless. This will be the 2nd wireless system I have installed this year so I'm familiar with what is involved. The first system (in Chicago) a couple of months ago had about twice the number of wireless sensors as I asked for here. In Chicago, it took one person less than 4 hours to install a complete system, test it and explain it. My only explanation for an estimate of 40 hrs is that they thought they could take advantage of us for some reason. Frankly, before seeing the quote I thought it was their business to lose and they chose to lose it.

Today is September 9 and still no resolution despite my repeated efforts too have 554$ reimbursed to me as they promised. Vivint then sent me a VISA debit card supposedly with my buy-out funds. When I tried to activate the card, VISA told me Vivint deposited funds to the card but were then withdrawn the following day. My numerous calls to Vivint corporate have all been unanswered. A consumer can't get in touch with corporate. AVIOD Vivint. It's customer service is the worst. Now I have to file complaints with FTC, state Attorney General, etc.
