Even more important than the quality of the service is the knowledge and expertise he has brought. With some audio dealers, I have gotten the sense they wanted to sell me what they would make the most money on. I never feel that with Jaime. Josh was able to make some older equipment functional and Colton has worked to make sure I have wi-fi and a cell signal throughout a large house. The most unprofessional, incompetent home theater staff in Santa Fe. I cannot even schedule an appointment to have someone come to my house and configure my control4 unit. And I am an existing customer! When I called for the second time after not hearing back from anyone, to find out if I could talk to the scheduler I was accused by their staff- Jaime - that I was bombarding them.... the first time their tech came over he took 3 hours for something that should have taken less than an hour because he was not trained. Their staff is rude, don't care about their customers or their business...their competence leaves a lot to be desired. Dave was great! He came to my home, reviewed my 20+ year old a/v system put in by a previous homeowner, switched plugs around so that the system could use my speakers, and patiently showed me how to use the different features. It seemed like a fun challenge to him, and if one fix didn't work, he tried another. Not once did he make me feel like an idiot. Nor did he try to sell me a new system. Oh, my gosh! I have been having lots of difficulties with my stereo system in my home here in Santa Fe. I tried calling Best Buy - 3 calls and I could not get through to speak to anybody.... I left a message - no one returned my call. I called several other stores/repair shops here in town. Nobody wanted to help me. A friend suggested that I call Constellation Electronics. I called and spoke to "Bobby" - he couldn't have been friendlier, or more optimistic about solving the problem, and said "come on in, we will do what we can." That was earlier this afternoon. It is now 4:00 p.m. "Dave" was incredible!! He dismantled the damaged components and had them repaired a couple of hours after I brought them in....Dave even attached new speaker wire and showed me the best way to attach the wire to my components. He went out of his way and was as pleasant as a person could be. The price to repair was ridiculously inexpensive. I am listening to "Frampton Comes Alive" on my turntable as I offer this review, and it has never sounded so good!! My huge compliments and thumbs up to Dave, Bobby, and Jaime over at Constellation Electronics. I could not provide a stronger referral to this business!! read more

My first purchase with Constellation was last week and it won't be my last. Jaime greeted me at the door, listen to what I wanted, how my house was set up, and recommended the perfect system for me at the best price. He even set up my system for a demo before I purchased it to make sure I was pleased with the sound. I learned so much from him, his know legend is beyond pure audiophile. He has a deep love and passion for all things audio. When I got my system home I had a question so I called him and he not only answered my question but gave me even more useful information that I didn't know about cables and power adapters. Just try finding a similar sound system and personal guidance from a mainstream audio shop, it doesn't exist. These guys are the real deal in Santa Fe. Look no further. read more
