Through the initial consultation, Shant provided helpful guidance on the (window) product options and gave me a very good sense of what to expect with regard to the installation. My project was a bit more involved and expected to take 3-4 days, due to the fact that I needed new construction (not retrofit). While other companies were persuading me to settle for retrofit - mainly to attract me with a lower project cost - Shant gave me an honest assessment of the condition of the stucco on my house and explained the long-term benefits of new construction. Having never bought windows I searched all over LA for a window vendor, and eventually decided to buy Milgard Tuscany windows from Ara, the owner of Intex windows. At first, his price was most competitive, he was most helpful on the phone, and kept me in the loop even throughout the process to take any guess work out of the process. Next, I ordered the windows and they were constructed about 4 days ahead of schedule. Ara's team immediately scheduled an installation on a Saturday morning which is the only time I had available due to business travel. The crew arrived a few minutes early of the 9-9:30 window they had committed to, were professionally dressed, very thorough, very clean, and extremely neat and careful throughout the install process which was a couple hours faster than originally thought. I can say that this was the most pleasurable home improvement project because of the customer service provided. I am not one to write reviews, but feel compelled to do so in this case because of how exemplary the service I received was. I recently sold my house, and while I was still living there, waiting for my new home to be ready, the new owners had Intex install all new windows throughout. Bear in mind I was living there and working from my home at the time. I was on conference calls and taking over rooms they were working on. Jose and Angel were the most professional, respectful, QUIET installers I've ever seen in years of home improvement. They also somehow managed to replace entire window frames on a 95 year old house without making any mess inside and while preserving the old facade. They were able to replace windows in the room I was working in without even disrupting my conference call. And of course, there's the quality of the windows. Everything is quieter now. They slide perfectly. They got the frames just right despite the "interesting" state of the existing building. On top of all this, I'm told the price was very low. I'm confused by the positive reviews on yelp. I went to INTEX's office on a thursday and spoke to Shant about replacing 20 Windows in my 6 unit apartment building, which was only 5 miles from their office. He told me he would go look at the building the next day and call me to recommend the type of window replacement. When I didn't hear from him I called him on Tuesday and asked if he had a chance to look at the building. He told me he would look at it on Wednesday and get back to me. I never heard from him again. Called ahead of time and listened to the message as well as looking it up Yelp. The message said it was open until 2pm on Saturday and Yelp said it was open until 1:30. I ordered all new windows for my Condo from Intex Windows. 4 large windows and a 12 ft sliding door. The company was very easy to work with. They were knowledgeable about my particular building and knew exactly what I needed. Once they were ordered, it took about 3 weeks for them to arrive.
