Unbelievable how great the service is. I will start off by saying my head was in my a** Cuz I drove my fully loaded tri-axle dump across a customer's lawn and never checked how hard the ground was b4 doing so. Well as you would think my 82000 pounds tri-axle got stuck right up to all axles into the customer's lawn and also truck was tipping to one side ( so there's no way I could dump my load to help be lighter ) I know this was going to be harder then normally cuz the lawn was more like a wet clay pit. The owner of interstate showed up with a 75 ton rotor and told me not to worry we will get you out in a minute. I honestly didn't see that happening - but after a few line were hook up to the my plow frame he ripped me up little a hot knife going thru butter. I was very impressed. So take it from me if you ever put your head up your a** and get stuck I mean really stuck call this guy * Cuz It will blow your mind how quick and simple this company makes it look. DO NOT USE!!!!! We were charged $280 CASH to tow our car 4 miles!!! They would not accept any other payment method. I had to go immediately to the ATM or we would have had to pay tow yard fee on top of that. AWFUL!!! And TERRIBLE customer service as well!!!! They should be ashamed to rip people off like this!!! Scammed me out of 130 bucks. Pulled my car off the road even though i told them AAA was 5 minutes away. Have to pay cash, don't accept any other payment. They will literally drive you to the atm, or will impound your car... if you need any private towing services use Chuckran's Towing, Recovery & Transport... they have been much more fair to me on price and quality of service. Do not use this towing service, even if AAA sends them out to you. My car wouldn't start so I called AAA to have my car towed 9 minutes away to my mechanic. When the guy got there, he didn't even say hello. He immediately just started complaining his back hurt and that he might have to call his boss. My main complaint is that when he tried to start my car, after i told him it wouldn't start and a AAA tech already had come out, he tells me "time to get a new car, your engine is completely gone. I can tell.". My car is only a 2013 and never yet had any issues so this seemed unlikely. Then he tries to get me to bring my car to his cousin's mechanic shop "Ty's". The whole thing made me completely uncomfortable and felt sketchy. I told him no and that I wanted him to bring it to my mechanic down the road as requested. I felt like he was trying to rip me off and I felt really uncomfortable as he left with my car. (Oh by the way, my mechanic said I just needed spark plugs. The ran all tests and fuel pump and all other parts were fine). To add to this, since the moment he got there he was complaining about his back hurting and didn't want to do the job. Although on a human level I was sorry to hear his back hurt, professionally it had nothing to do with me and he shouldn't have been working that day if he was in too much pain to get on the ground to hook up my car to the tow. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I was told by an employee that I would be able to grab the important things I needed from the car while we were figuring out being able to pay for the bill. The next day when we called so that we could stop by, the owner "Mike" was very disrespectful and rude over the phone. He continually talked over me and said that I couldn't get my things from the car unless we paid. When I tried to explain to him what the employee said yesterday and tried to figure out who it was, he rudely told me to "forget about yesterday this is today". He continued to raise his voice and give attitude. Also I believe that he was trying to rip me off because when his tow company came to tow my car after the accident there was one truck on the scene. When asked about the bill he said they used two trucks which is a lie. This was an horrible experience and I don't usually write reviews, but this was necessary. read more

They all went above and beyond to not only help with his car but they helped get him medical attention he needed and checked on him after the fact. Interstate Wrecker Services picked up my stalled car at my home, with Joe as the driver and I must say, that when he introduced himself, you knew that he new what to do and was there to do it. He first asked me for the keys to the car and proceeded to work like a computerized machine, as he lined the car just right to go up the back of the ramp and onto the trailer. Made sure that all the chains were hooked in at the right places and then asked me if there was anything else. I said you have to take the car to my mechanic. He said I know, the No Name Enterprise on Broadway in Norwood. He said that I know them well. He said I am all set are you and I said yes. He headed to his truck and headed off to the repair shop. The man was as professional as he could be. His rating for the job, was a "10." I told him that he reminded me of that Steak Sauce, " A-1". He smiled and laughed, and off he went. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Poor customer service and extremely hostile attitude from the owner "Mike". He is a large,intimidating man who was extremely rude and disrespectful. This review is only getting a star because my experience with the tow truck drivers and other staff went fairly well. But the owner "Mike" doesn't allow you to even step foot inside his lot or office unless your insurance company pays him in full. I live in Vermont and he made me drive all the way down to sign his "release form". He refused to fax, mail, or scan it to me. He doesn't let you retrieve your belongings out of your car (asthma medication for my sick child, car registration paperwork, clothes, license plate, or any other personal belongings. ) He's disrespectful, dishonest, hot tempered and should not be given business. A Mack Truck (according to the MA State Police) dropped debris in the highway and my vehicle(Ford E250) and about 5 other vehicles hit it. It blew out my right 2 tires. I called AAA and they said that a tow truck was minutes away. Interstate Wrecker Service, Inc. showed up. I thought he was AAA. I asked the driver if he wanted to see my card and he said, "No, I need you to get into the two truck." I got in the two truck and waited. When he got in the two truck he asked if I had $100 cash on me. I said, "No, aren't you AAA? Don't I get it for free?" He said, "No, I am not AAA. I am going to have to take you back to my yard and drop you off at the gas station up the road. Is there any way that you can get cash out at an ATM up the road?" I said, "No, I don't have any money." He said, "I am going to have to drop you off at the gas station and take your van back to the yard." I said, "I thought you were AAA. AAA told me that they were 6 minutes away and the State Police said my vehicle was fine where it was till AAA got here." Then I realized that all this guy wanted was cash. When we got to the gas station up the road, I said to him, "Do you feel good about what you are doing right now?" He said, "Get out!" Then I said to him, "What if I get you $100 out of the ATM at this gas station, will you leave me and my van here?" He said, "Now you have the money?" I went to the ATM got out $100 cash all while I was afraid that he was going to take my van. When I got back out to the tow truck I said to the guy, "If I give you this $100 right now you promise you are going to leave my van here with me?" He said, "Yes." He then left me and my van at a gas station on the Canton/Milton line at a gas station on Rt 138. I then called AAA back and a really nice tow truck driver named Mel came and saved me. He was like an ANGEL. He was very nice and was able to tow my van back to my home with no incidents. When I looked up Interstate Wreck Service, Inc. it states that they are a AAA Approved Road Service Provider. Why did the guy extort me for $100 cash? Why did he keep asking me for cash??? I am getting a refund from AAA and I recommend that AAA disapprove them. He does not even deserve the one STAR. read more

After 9pm on a weeknight, you apparently really don't want to have your car break down in any of the little suburban communities off I-93 south of Boston. When my car died in Milton, on a dark sidestreet just off a freeway exit, I called my insurance's roadside assistance only to be told "We can't get anyone to come get you. You're on your own." After calling half a dozen other tow companies and either not getting an answer or being told no one was available, I finally got ahold of someone at Interstate. They were clear that they couldn't tow me all the way home, but when they heard my situation (including what my insurance said and how everyone else was ready to leave me stranded there), they sent out Matt to come get my car and tow it to their yard. The next day, I spoke with Mike, who was very sympathetic and understanding, and he arranged to have my car towed up to my mechanic in Allston. Breaking down like that is never cheap, but they were transparent about costs and worked with me to make sure I was taken care of in a timely and reasonable fashion. REJECT SERVICE AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE! To say they're customer service is poor is understating it. Paul Dick (or whatever his name really was since he refused to give it), manipulated us into having no choice but to pay the most. Very uncooperative, rude and disrespectful. He handed me a card and let me know that the car would be towed to the address on the card. We decided to follow him pay the lower rate and then have our own tow bring our car to our mechanic. But when we get there, he tells us that the location we were in is not the same as the card he just handed me. Seriously!? We requested that he leave the car outside of the lot, but he insisted on cash in order for him to do so. We agreed, but needed to run to an ATM, he wouldn't even wait for us to get the cash, he said if we left he'll bring the car in the lot and force us to pay more. I said Paul Bustedcoketeeth, can you please allow us to get you the cash, he insisted on not waiting so we told him to just tow it to our mechanic and on the way we'll stop at the ATM and give you the cash Paul Swallowscome. Once we got to the mechanic I asked to see the receipt before I hand over the cash and he wouldn't show it to me, finally I had my wife call the police and had the police intermediate the situation.
