So overall this was a disappointing experience (from several years ago), and I will use a different body shop in the future, if and as needed.

No problem, I dropped my car off, went to work and around 2/2:30 I had called to see if it had been done because I would be returning to my office and would be done with work. They told me they would check on it and call me back, I waited about a 30/40 minutes to not recieve a call back, so I followed up, only to be told it was just going in NOW. Now it's 3:15/20, my car was supposed to be seen in the morning? Anyways, the job took about 15/20minutes until I was told that it was done, now it's 4, I've waited all day + some for a 15minute job. Paid my dues went on with my day, no problem Flash forward needing a new oil change, I go to a different shop, closer to home and he pops up from under my car and tells me to not go back to where I went (which is Norwood Auto) because the filter (the dirty one) was not for my car, that it was the correct size but not for my car, meaning it fit, it just shouldn't have been in my car.) THE CLEAN ONE, is supposed to be in MY car. I'm confused and disheartened that a 15/20min job took all day to be seen, with an incorrect part used and overall was rushed with lack of communication? Sure money is money but make sure to LOVE your job before committing to it. I had just bought this car after years of not having one, this was my first oil change that I had to do on my own, and I just feel like not enough pride was taken into doing the job, maybe I wasn't seen as a serious person due to how young I am? i do have trust issues on their ability to actually fix my car. i originally brought my car in…read morebecause my brake was acting weird. they just randomly changed my brake pads that i changed not so long ago and it did not fix the issue. few months later i come back to get my inspection done here and they failed me for the same reason that they did not fix correctly to begin with. i gave them another shot to fix it and they thought it was the calipers that might need to be replace. they some how ended up replacing one control arm, conveniently pass my inspection but my car is still having the same issue. i have to step on the brake very hard and for a long time to get it to work. it's gotten to the point that i got used to driving it this way, i just keep 2 car distance at all time. but it does not change the fact they did not fix the issue and charged me for different services both times. i didn't even bother bringing it back because i feel like they just playing car parts roulette and replacing random things then hope it works. if you go here for a general inspection sticker with a newer car it will be fine but i dont trust their abilities to fix old cars

Haven't been using other services beyond that once-upon-a-time complimentary car wash, which might have been discontinued along with detailing that they report as of 2025 is a thing of the past. But in general, great experiences here, and they seem honest -- they're the one busting the myth of "cash only for state inspection", which many places have claimed to be the case (it's not!). Waiting area is nice, quiet, and clean, equipped with complimentary coffee and a vending machine for snacks. When my current mechanic retires, I might just be coming here more often. Tip: State inspection 8a-4p. Walk-in / no appointment required.
