I have searched high and low all over VA looking for a bookcase that would hold some seriously…read moreheavy books. I needed something well-made and solid, but I couldn't pay hundreds of dollars for solid wood or go through the hassle of assembling with Ikea. On a whim, I drove out to Springfield in response to an ad they'd posted on Craiglist. This place is fantastic! It's full of QUALITY office furniture -- desks, bookcases, chairs, etc. -- in good, clean condition. (There was some dust here and there on a few pieces, but nothing you wouldn't expect. Plus everything is shined to a sparkly clean before it's delivered to you.) Everything is neatly organized, so it's easy to browse and find exactly what you need. I ended up getting not just the bookcase of my dreams, but also a Steelcase adjustable desk chair with lumbar support. Even better, the price I paid for these two pieces together was a mere fraction of what it would have cost me to buy either one of them brand new. Best of all, there was delivery right to my door for a modest fee. I highly encourage anyone looking to outfit a home or commercial office to stop into Celio to check out what they have to offer -- attentive but pressure-free service, a clean showroom, reasonable prices, affordable delivery, and quality pieces. P.S. It's a little confusing to find when you drive into the parking lot. You basically have to go all the way around the back of the building to find Suite B.

My wife was looking for an office chair, but has a very picky back, so adjustability is a must. I…read morewas surprised to find that the Big Box office supply stores only sell very basic office chairs (with height and full-seat-tilt adjust only), and nothing like what you'd find in a real office for an employer that cares about employee comfort (with back height, back tilt, tilt lock-in-place, arm rest height and angle, etc adjustments). We decided to check out Celio, and found a great chair for $75 that was much better than what we'd get for $250+ at a Big Box office supply store. While we were there, we picked up a heavy-duty filing cabinet. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Since this is used furniture, the stock changes rapidly, but there's a lot of REALLY high quality stuff here that's in excellent condition. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

You can even do async pickup and leave the boxes outside your door. I will say I ordered the standard 1 bedroom selection but I definitely needed 5-10 more bins based on the amount of items I have

Bin size was really good (better than UHaul's plastic rental ones, which I used last time) and the best part was how the bins stack up on the dollies they provide. They have now opened up their own storefront next to their office, complete with a "Notebook Bar," but there is little reason to buy the products here instead of another store, unless you are in immediate need of a notebook while in Ivy City (but at that point, just go to Target, unless you are really want something fancy). They do have a small selection of items from other companies, but none of it is must have, unless you must have $20 paper clips. A selection of items at different price points would be nice. I booked an appointment at the Notebook Bar (with a giftcard that covered most of it). I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was pretty underwhelming. You just fill out a form and watch someone build it for you. I guess I would have liked to have been a part of the building process somehow. I have more fun buying their products off the shelf from cooler stationery stores. I did build a "half and half" notebook, which maybe is supposed to be something special. It was just lined paper in the front, then dotted grid paper in the back, which is essentially two different notebooks, so I might as well buy them separately elsewhere. My favorite part of the whole experience was the plastic button envelope that protected my notebook. In short, products are great and the staff is nice, I am just unlikely to visit this specific store in the future. It's skippable, especially if you don't live in the area.
