I explained how my wife had to take time off from work (Not get paid) and how it felt really inconsiderate that they called so late to cancel. We're not available tomorrow and no other remedies were offered. Super frustrated that we waited for three weeks to be cancelled last minute. UPDATE: We spoke with management from Al's Oil shortly after the mishap. They were understanding and responsive to our frustrations. They rescheduled quickly and effectively met our needs. Al's Oil made up for the misstep and then some. Very appreciative for their response.

I would never choose this company for oil if I were you. They tell you one thing in person that needs to be done, but then lie on paper and say something different. We have had six guys here, all saying something different, causing a hassle of a mess. Then today, I spoke to Tammy; she was so rude! She didn't care that I had the tech conversation with me on our Ring cam that proves what I'm saying: "I get what you're saying, but it's not what he put on the paper!" I said, "So how come every time a tech comes out here, they lie about what they told me, seeing as it's happened each time?" Her reply was, "I don't know! I'll have to have a talk with them when they come in." I said, "Well, it's getting cold; we have barely any oil and don't want to put oil into the tank, seeing as he told me it would Contaminate it an not work properly! She didn't care, so I went, "Maybe I should have another company come out and look at the tank." She went, "You should, because we no longer want to work with you, and I'll let community action know. I'll email them." I said, "Okay, that's fine," then hung up! They are nothing but rude and never write down what they do on these service calls! I'd stay away! You guys are the worst oil company and so rude. Tammy is beyond rude and makes no sense. Seeing Tammy said it goes by what they wrote, not what they say in person, even though it's on my Ring camera. But we already found a new amazing oil company that doesn't play games and is honest and respectful, unlike your company. Tammy needs a new job, not to tell me she can't go off what I said, even though it happened in front of my Ring camera. None of your techs write accurate notes. So I will let everyone I know to never use your company unless they enjoy rude customer service where you get yelled at! So no need to reply to my updated review, seeing you wasted my family's time with all the lies and no respect! THEIR RESPONSE IS LIES. THEIR TECH LIES! THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY! THEY TREAT YOU WITH DISRESPECT! I'D REPORT THEM TO THE BBB IF I WERE YOU, OR TO THE STATE! I CAN LAUGH BECAUSE I NEVER MENTIONED COMMITTING FRAUD; I JUST WENT OFF A CONVO WITH THEIR TECH. BUT TAMMY HAS AN ATTITUDE AND WAS SO RUDE. SHE MESSAGES COMMUNITY ACTION TO TELL THEM YOU GUYS NO LONGER WANTED TO WORK WITH US. MATT CALLED TO ASK ME ABOUT IT YESTERDAY! I TOLD HIM HOW RUDE AND EVERYTHING TAMMY WAS TO ME! AND TOLD HIM WE FOUND A NEW COMPANY WHO DOESN'T LIE AND IS HONEST AND KEEPS TRACK OF NOTES! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THE OWNER IS A JOKE WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND WHAT HAPPENED. LIKE I SAID, RUN AWAY!

I don't write many reviews... but my good experience with Concord Oil contrasts pretty starkly with their other Yelp reviews. With that, I figured I'd share my experience that fits in the category of old school, 'we're invested in our customers' service. I've been a residential Concord Oil customer for as long as I can remember... probably 20+ years now. They're always friendly, responsive, and reliable. A recent experience: I was having problems with my heating system. The Concord Oil team, from the central office reception and scheduler to the hands-on, on-site specialists (who were clearly very experienced), was determined to get the challenging problem solved. This was not an easy challenge... and took at least 4 visits to diagnose and 'fix' over the course of a couple weeks. I truly felt like everyone on the Concord Oil team was patient, diligent, and 'invested' through the entire process. It's also worth noting that I never received a bill from Concord Oil for this 'service', even though this 'issue' was clearly caused during the original home build / wiring process almost 20 years ago. Bottom line: I am a good customer to them and they, in turn, have been very good to me. Hope that helps.

However, Concord Oil installed a smaller, look-alike tank of another brand. Concord Oil knew I only wanted a Roth, as specified in my contract and invoice. During the installation, I spoke with Concord Oil's tech about my new Roth tank, and I was provided with the paperwork for a 2009 Roth tank. I failed to notice that the "Warranty" application was actually a copy of an old document visibly taken out of a 3-hole binder. After Roth rejected the warranty paperwork I submitted, I contacted Concord Oil. At first, I was told that the company had ordered a Roth, per my contract terms, but a different tank was mistakenly delivered, and the installation tech did not know I only wanted a Roth. After I pointed out that I was provided falsified paperwork from an old Roth and that no one at the company was even certified to install a Roth tank, Concord Oil replaced my tank with a Roth. The public should know that Concord Oil engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices. I can't possibly be the company's only victim.

New HVAC system: Quote to Installation - seamless & smooth…read more We recently decided it was time to replace our HVAC system which was installed in October of 1996. This 26 year old system was also installed by All Temp Systems and so we opted to stick with them for our new system too. They're a local business and have always been quick to respond when an emergent need arose. I requested a quotation via their web site and received a response from the owner the same day that he would prepare a quote. A day later the quote arrived for the new system and we were pleased as it was a few thousand dollars less that we were anticipating. We also compared it to two of our neighbors who had similar systems installed by them in 2018 and 2020 and found the price difference to only be about $200.00 more. (We were pleasantly surprised to see that they were holding their prices steady and offering fair and competitive pricing in a time when everything else seems to be increasing by leaps and bounds.) We took advantage of the Mass Save heat loan program and obtained a zero % heat loan to cover the cost of the furnace which also qualified for a rebate too and scheduled the installation of the system. The 2 technicians arrived on time as scheduled and were very friendly, polite and worked diligently on disassembling and removing the old system and getting the new system installed. In quick order, the system was ready for the gas fitter to hook up the furnace and the electrician to make the electrical connections and install the new thermostat. Within 6 hours, the new system was tested, up and running and all of the work space in the basement and outdoors was cleaned up and all of the old system components taken away. From quotation to installation, the whole process was very easy. Everyone I interacted with (Mr. Zagame, the owner, and the installation technicians) at All Temp Mechanical Systems, Inc. have been very easy to work with and answered any and all questions/concerns I had. I also have to commend All Temp Systems on keeping their prices reasonable given that it seems there's a fair amount of price gouging going on everywhere. Like any business, they're entitled to turn a profit...but it's nice doing business with someone who's giving their customers a good value for the money with fair pricing. I will continue to use All Temp Systems for my future HVAC needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC company. Great company, great People and fair pricing. S.
