I'm really baffled here on this lady's claim about Omar and Co. Right up front, if she has a real legitimate claim against Intersport, then a law suit should be made. If Omar feels she has no case what so ever, then a counter to her claim is in order. My name is Rick Garlock and everyone at Intersport knows who I am. No, I never had dealings with Omar per say, but Charlie and the rest are known to me as the Abe Lincoln's of the auto repair business! I am the foremost OCD person on my green 70 911T car. I have even slept there during the day as they worked on the car. Anyone can feel free to walk back, see how the work is progressing, talk to the mechanic make suggestions, etc.. One time I bought a clutch kit for the car, brought it to them to install. This means r&r the engine& trans, 10 qts,. oil, 5 hours labor. It's a $1000.00 job when all is said and done. After this job, we could not shift into any gear! Out came the engine and all. I bought the wrong clutch kit for the car. Mind you that these all look the same, just minute differences. I was angry at myself, there going to charge me again for 5 hours labor, because my mistake, not their fault. Damn, I thought. In talking to Charlie, I asked if he could give me a break on the "second labor go around". You know what he told me ? "What are you talking about, we should of checked that it was correct, and we would of caught that"! We are not going to charge you twice! I was so relieved, but more importantly, IMPRESSED! Another time an unexpected problem came up, (valve adjustment, found broken outer spring) car was going to be another day. They gave me one of the owners car to drive home from Mc Lean,Va. to Glen Burnie, Md. where I live! That's right! Any other shop would of sent a customer to Enterprise around the corner! Not these guys! After reading the lady's comments, listen to the tone, she is emotional, angry, and ready to pay back. I own a business, and how you approach a situation makes all the difference in the world. She got bad results because she was threating, and accusatory. I was not there, she is correct on that, but you get far more with honey than vinegar! She acted this way most likely because she feels "she should of studied the problem more", therefore she would not of been so vulnerable. When it comes to other business decisions , I'll bet when it goes wrong, she shows up the same way. Again my opinion only as I know these people at Intersport and this is way out line for them . I would never hesitate to use them. Anyone can call me about them. Just ask them for my number! Thank you, Rick Garlock read more
