2016 VW Jetta 3 months old and a hail storm hits Arlington TX. Took the car to the "Dealership Preferred Collision Center." They submitted a supplemental claim (which is normal) to the insurance company to replace the car roof and hood due to the damage. Body shop sent the car out to someone else to do paintless dent repair on the sides of the car. Completed PDR by Day 17 and returned to shop. Car was at the Body Shop 28 days and repairs were not started. They were unaware that trunk was not done and would "have to be replaced" as well. Paid for outsourced work done and parts they had ordered but not done anything with. Took the car from the body shop and called IntelliDENT. Tyler said he could come to the house to give us an estimate or we could bring it by. Took the car to the shop and he and the techs assured us they could remove the dents without replacing the roof, hood or trunk. Asked when they could work me into their schedule, they said if I could leave the car they could start that day. It was 2:00 pm on Friday. Got a call from Tyler the next day at 7:30 Saturday evening, said the car was done and ready for pickup (WOW!). Picked up the car and it looks brand new. They cleaned and shined the complete car, even putting tire shine on the wheels. They did it for the remainder of the insurance check - no questions asked. I can't say enough good things about IntelliDENT and their crew. YOU ROCK! I have a stack of cards and will be passing them out to everyone I see with hail dents. Am taking my 2014 GMC Sierra to them next week to have it repaired as well. I didnt know that it would be this easy. Overall i had to do nothing as Tyler did everything for me. My car had huge packs of dents that looked really bad, First for 6 months i thought i would not repair but Intellident, esp Tyler himself made it easy for me and the BEST PART no Deductibles were charged for me, i even got Free Rentals from them as i didn't had it on my insurance. I just sat back relaxed for a week and my car was fixed before the time frame. When i said they took care of everything , i mean, I didn't have to go through that much of the insurance stuffs after i filed a claim! Nothing short of amazing. Tyler, Chris and the rest of the Intellident team in Plano knocked it out of the park. I brought my Civic Type R to them when I experienced an unavoidable hail storm early June. I went through insurance to get it appraised and stopped by on a walk-in. Tyler re-assured me the aluminum hood on my car wouldn't be a problem, as they handle aluminum panels on various makes and models all the time. He gave me a tour of the grounds, set some clear, realistic expectations and delivered beyond them. They set me up with a rental upon drop off, and I told them to not to rush it. They ended up having it for two weeks which I anticipated roughly. After all, it's literally hundreds of dents. When I picked up my car, it was dent and blemish free. I couldn't even tell it went through a hail storm! And the last thing I didn't want was for the roof to be cut and replaced, which did not happen. It's clear this location takes professionalism very seriously from pre-repair to post-repair. All packaged with a lifetime warranty for the job. My car was a complete mess and the insurance adjuster said I'd needed a new hood. I called my usual auto body shop and they said I couldn't get in for 2 months and that my car would take at least 3 weeks to fix it. Thank god Devin showed up on my door step. He told me I'd be able to get my car in that same week and that it'll take 7 to 14 days to repair it. I told him that they said I needed a new hood and he reassured me that his techs would be able to fix it and help keep the cars value by keeping an original part. Two of our cars were hit really bad by hail and we weren't sure if we'd get them fixed. Then Devin showed up at our door and offered to waive our deductibles. I'm so thankful that I ran into Bryan, one of Intellident's sales employees. He took care of everything rental car related so all I had to do was meet him. I received nothing but the best service from Tyler and the gang at Intellident-Plano, and also from his chosen repair place for other damages on my car. Arrived at the date and time agreed upon with the owner Tyler. The front desk person Greg and the tech, refused to honor the quote that was given to me by Tyler ($100). After looking at my vehicle they said it would be $150 to $300, but they couldn't be sure until they got in there to look around. The attitude of the people was basically this is a small job, we don't have time for it, and we don't want your business. Possibly triple the cost of my initial quote seems like a scam to me. The hail damage wasn't that bad on our car (no broken glass) but it was still an eyesore to look at once you got close enough to the vehicle and it was all over the place. Hundreds of little dings.
