Drywall crew did not protect anything in the house, no paper or plastic was used to cover floors, cabinets, or anything. House was left with a lot of excess drywall mud and drywall dust. Joe, the owner asked that I get someone to clean the tile/grout and someone to clean the drywall mud and drywall dust. After the tile was cleaned, and the worker was waiting for payment, I called Joe and asked he pay. Joe hung up on me. I paid $990 for the tile/grout cleaning. I paid for cleaning supplies and a separate crew to clean walls, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, including scrubbing with a toothbrush to get drywall off. Drywall is on my cabinets and some of the stain is off. The cabinets were stained by a licensed professional company the week before Joe's company did drywall work. Joe is not willing to pay for cabinet damage. Joe said there is a defect in the paint job and that his drywall and drywall mud did NOT cause damage to my cabinets. When I ask Joe for reimbursement for cleaning, he told me I owe him $1000. I agree I owe $1,000 when the job is complete. His contract reads $1,000 due when drywall is complete. His contract also reads, that when final payment is made, that I waive all rights to damages. So, do I pay the $1,000 when drywall is complete or when the job is complete including deficiencies and final permit is signed off? If you decide to hire this company, it would be a good idea to ask for clarification and have them agree in writing that final payment is due when the job is complete, including excess cleaning and damages. Joe's company has mainly good reviews. I understand sometimes things do not go as they should. A company with INTEGRITY would take care of the mess and the damages that they caused. A company with INTEGRITY would pay for all deficiencies that they caused. A company with INTEGRITY would not think I should make final payment until all work, including damages and cleaning is complete. ISSUE: My home had a slab leak. I contacted Joe at Integrity Repipe for a quote to repipe my home. Joe sent his expert estimator who gave me a price to repipe my home. Integrity's crew came to the house and worked for two (very expensive) days. · After Integrity Repipe declared the job complete, I noticed that there was no water coming from the two hoses in my yard. Joe told my wife and me that the hoses were connected to my sprinkler, and it has nothing to do with him. Joe said that it is a coincidence, and that he gets these calls all the time after he repipes a home. · I inspected the plumbing and discovered that Integrity Repipe had cut the copper line in my wall that feeds water to the back sprinklers and hoses, and had not repiped that line. (SEE PICTURE) That most certainly has to do with Integrity Repipe, Joe - you cut that working copper line and did not replace it! · Joe said he will not finish the job. I asked why. He said: "I do re-piping, not re-routing." When I questioned how this matter was not re-piping (new pipes must be routed to replace the copper pipe that he cut off), Joe changed his answer to "I am not going to break up a crew to do this job." JOE'S POSITION: The pipe was not replaced because I did not tell them to replace it (but then, I did not tell him any lines to replace, I hired him to repipe my home). Joe also argues that the water line in dispute is not in the contract. However, that contract clearly listed TWO HOSE BIBS. Integrity Repipe only replaced the front hose bib (ONE HOSE BIB, JOE)! Not only will Joe not finish the job at no additional cost, he refuses to finish the job at all. MY POSITION: Integrity cut off an old copper line in my wall and failed to replace it like every other line they cut off in my home. They simply screwed up, and should fix it at not additional cost - the job was paid for. So, what is the definition of "repipe my home"? I think it means the experts (Integrity Repipe) will inspect and define the job in accordance with industry standards, perform the repipe for the quoted price, return all water systems to working condition, and test the systems when they are done. Integrity did NOT do this. Joe tells me the job is to replace only pipes that I specifically tell him to replace - even when he disconnects a working water line and leaves it non-functional when he leaves. Because Joe refused to move an inch when I offered to negotiate a middle ground, I will have to rely upon industry licensing experts to determine who is correct. On the day of the repipe, Saul and his team arrived on time, placed tarps on the floors and plastic on the areas which were to be protected. So this is long overdue update.. Integrity Repipe did fix the leak, the walls and our floor after I posted my 1 star review. They sent out Christopher and Christopher, and a lady (sorry can't recall her name). I would have left them with 3 stars because I shouldn't have had to replace my wood floorings in the first place. Fast forward to now, when we had our roof replaced on Friday. The workers claimed there was a leak above our kitchen. Of course I call Integrity Repipe to have them check it out. Carlos comes out on Saturday and finds our roofers punctured a pipe and tried to cover it up by making a makeshift bandaid over their booboo. This company is a mixed bag, in my opinion. We decided to repipe our home as a preventative measure for pipe leaks. I did my due diligence and received three bids. At the glowing recommendation of our neighbor we called the owner Joe at Integrity Repipe. Rather than receiving a warm reply, the reply was surprisingly cold and the owner asked how I had his number, etc. I thought I would let that go. Later, an estimator by the name of Noel came by to offer a quote. Noel came by with a packet that had an estimate, notice of completion, and a 25 year warranty. The option to add a 40 gallon water heater with all the bindings was quoted as $1800.00 which we felt was excessively high. Noel suggested not having an inspection done on the repipe job because it would be problematic, etc. We wanted to pay cash for an additional discount and that was honored. We wanted to have our contractor patch the holes in the home rather than have Integrity Repipe do it so we only requested the bid to include only repiping the home. On April 23, 2021, the Integrity Repipe team came out to repipe our home. The crew did the job but there were mishaps with chipped baseboard in the master bathroom, dents in the drywall, and scratches on the shower plates. There seemed to be excessive holes in the walls (why not use a stud finder?). I was not happy that the manager (the owner Joes's son-in-law) Bryan Funk wanted to pick up the ENTIRE cash payment when the job had just started and the crew having just worked for two hours. I asked Bryan if he was willing to sign the Notice of Completion and he declined, stating that the job was not done. That illustrated my point of not remitting payment until the job is done. (There was no reference or mention of cutting a 16" x 8" super large hole in the stucco wall on the exterior side of the house while the estimator Noel was describing the work to be done on the interior of the home with my husband and our contractor). We had to argue with Bryan about deducting for the repair of the wall. Of course, Noel did not return any of our calls. When Bryan Funk picked up the cash the next morning I asked him to sign the 25 year warranty that was in the packet that Noel gave us. He declined to sign it saying that Integrity Repipe was editing the warranty to a Lifetime Warranty. Doesn't the 25 year warranty less fall within a Lifetime Warranty? He said that the warranty would arrive in the mail within a week. He also asked me to scan some documents to him. Stupid me...Looking back, am I his admin? Two weeks after the job was completed I called Bryan Funk and asked him where the warranty was. He said that he will look into it or I should call Joe myself. Really? Why? Now, it is been over a month since I had the conversation with Bryan Funk regarding the warranty. So much for "Integrity". At this point, it is doubtful that I will have any warranty. I am sure it is better that way. I don't need them to f**k it up more than they already have. I love it when contractors name their business as positive attributes to "convince" customers that they are honest, truthful, and their end product is superior. Contractors such as "1st Choice Construction Solutions" should be named No Choice Construction Solutions. "Integrity Repipe" should be named to "No Integrity Repipe"... It gets me every time. As I read the other reviews about Integrity Repipe there was one review that said that the holes were excessive if Integrity Repipe was not contracted to patch the holes. Which is a poor marketing tactic considering they don't like money. Estimator noel, said i would get a quote in my email. Could not have been more pleased with Integrity Repipe! After experiencing 2 pin leaks in a matter of weeks, we decided to repipe our entire house. I called for several prices for repiping. All of them were around the same price give or take a couple hundred dollars. What set Integrity Repipe apart was their written lifetime warranty on parts and labor. All the other places gave a year warranty which was not even in writing. It took a couple of days to set up the initial assessment. The sales person sat down and explained to me the difference between copper and pex and why galvanized pipes needed to be replaced which would also greatly improve my water pressure. Once the assessment was done they were able to start just two days after that. The repipers that came to my house, Carlos, I believe his name was and another gentleman we very friendly and very professional. They started at around 10 am and were done by 4:30pm. They showed me some of the pipes they pulled out of my house and more than half the diameter inside the pipes were filled with gunk! It was very disgusting and the thought of drinking and bathing in water coming out of those pipes made my stomach turn! The day after the repipe was complete the patcher arrived and patched up all the holes in the walls from the repiping in about four hours. The walls now look as good as new; all we have to do is repaint them. Repiping a home is a very expensive project. I could have saved a couple hundred dollars by going with someone else but am very happy with the job that was done and have a nice warm fuzzy feeling knowing that I have a lifetime warranty!! As I have had 4 water leaks in the walls of my home in the past 16 months, I thought it was time to re-pipe my home before the 5th, and potentially more damaging, leak occurred. I contacted 3 different re-piping companies for an estimate and 1 of the 3 took a different approach to looking at my home and the layout, as we did it all by FaceTime! Consequently their quote was much higher than the other two, and ultimately I went with Integrity, who sent a representative to my home, did a walk through, and described in detail what I was in for. The work was scheduled for the following Monday and the team of guys were at my home before 7 am and were very methodical in setting up their workspace, laying out their tools and the materials they would be using for the re-pipe. I was already impressed. The lead gentleman immediately pointed out that he had re-piped 3 other homes of my neighbors which immediately made me feel I made the right choice. They proceeded to get to work cutting holes everywhere they needed to to start the re-piping process. I won't lie, it is a messy, dirty, dusty job! By the end of the day 1 (4:30 pm), the house was completely re-piped and the water was back on. Again, I was impressed. They cleaned up their mess and the the next day the repair, patch, and texture team showed up at 7 am, and worked the entire day repairing the drywall, and texturing the walls, ceiling and stucco on the outside of the house where they had to access one of the bathroom tub/shower valves. A slab leak is not a thing you look forward to experiencing, especially when you have to shuffle among your work schedule, the kids' school schedule, and, of course, the terrible fact of shutting the main water valve to your home. As we live in Aliso Viejo (or A-LEAK-O Viejo) your time will come soon for a slab leak as we our homes were built around the same time and the builder used the same thinner copper pipes. First off, when your home springs that first leak, please consider a full house repipe and do not prolong the inevitable by just addressing the one leak (lesson learned). Now once you start looking for a company please remember this review and the company who took care of our repipe: Integrity Repipe. You will most likely come across two to three contenders when you ask for referrals. Integrity Repipe stood out among the other local repipe companies primarily because of its warranty fine print ...and this is where another key element of our decision making popped out: being educated by Ken from Integrity Repipe. five years ago we had Integrity- Repipe our older rental home in Long Beach. They promised a lifetime warrantee. These guys(Brian) are faithful to their promises, The tenants called us to complain about a knocking in the pipe. especially in the bathroom. When Brian could not release his crews to do a repair (after hours, because the tenant said it had to be after he got home from work or on a weekend) this company does not work on weekends and the re pipe crews have full 8 hour days. So, Brian hired an independent plumbing company (at no cost to us) and who worked after hours. This company re-strapped the pipes and changed our cartridge's that sometimes go bad after 5 years. The plumbing is now perfect. And there was never any discussion about compensation. 5+ stars read more

It was all done in 4 days (2 days were for city inspectors to come check and sign off on the work). My property manager engaged Integrity Repipe for a complete repipe of a rental property. We had recently done foundation work and had a different vendor for plaster work, so did not include plaster work / closing up holes in the contract with Integrity Repipe. While they did the job within one day, as promised, the extent of the holes they made in the walls was far in excess of the amount and size of holes for which they set our expectations. From the pictures I saw of the holes made by the Integrity Repipe team, my assumption was that they worked with a mindset of 'we won't have to close up these holes, so rather than focus on the minimal hole size to get the job done, let's make the job easier on ourselves and let the other vendor close up large holes in the wall.' When my property manager reached out to Joe, the owner of Integrity Repipe, to question the size of the holes and discuss whether a price adjustment was appropriate, given the multiple thousands of dollars of additional wall repair required, Joe's response was hostile, requesting that we provide a job specification, expressly requesting one signed by him (referring to himself in the 3rd person, which reads like he has sent the same text to other customers in the past), that defined the exact size, number, and location of holes to be made in the wall. Additionally, he defined his response email as a 'demand letter for full repayment of the repipe.' In a follow-up phone call, according to my property manager, he threatened to 'slap a lein on the property if we did not pay in full.' To be clear, we requested an adjustment given the extensive holes and clean-up required and at no time did we hint that we would not pay in full (requesting an adjustment is NOT a threat to refuse payment - it is a request amongst adults to reconsider the terms of an agreement based on the quality of the work product provided). As a result, based on my current view of Joe as a businessman, I would never consider working with him or any company with which he is affiliated. read more

Their crew showed up at 8:00 am, cut off the main water to the house, taped up the entire area where they would work, and commenced working. I highly recommend them and the only company that we checked out that gave not only a verbal description of the procedure but also should us on the salesmans iPad pictures of the whole procedure. 6 man crew yesterday to Repipe and done in 5 hours. They worked and had all their tools and equipment laid out like a surgeon!! Then today it was a 4 man crew that did the patching in little over 3 hours. I am a retired licensed general contractor with over 40 years experience. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Once in awhile you get excellence. Integrity did everything they said they would do and then some. Joe made an appointment to see our home. He was right on time, walked around for less than 30 minutes, explained what he would do and gave me a very fair price to do the work. I would typically get 2-3 bids, but I was so confident in Joe, that I signed up on the spot. We were out of town while the work was being done and expected to come home to delays and lots of plaster dust, etc. The work was done on time and our home was remarkably free of dust. All the drywall textures matched the original perfectly. I had 7-9 areas to paint. With Integrity I got quality, price and service. In my experience, you can typically get any two of the three, but it is difficult to get all three. I manage two rental properties that will soon be ready for repipe. It is good to know that I can call Joe with confidence that the work will be done right. read more

These guys do a really good job of replacing your pipes. They do it all in one day and it's very professional. But the crew that we got for the cleanup left a little to be desired. They left a pretty good mess, did not patch well so we're going to have to redo some of it before we paint, and damaged our hardwood floor. But Instead Integrity was great about quickly coming in and fixing all of the issues. read more

This is a difficult job to do. We were on a repeat slab leak and wanted to end it once and for all. They did the job really well. They were polite and hard working. I watched them do the work and it was very difficult abandoning all of the old system and put in new pex. I am very satisfied with they way everything went. UPDATE: (10/18/16) I wrote a previous post about this company about four months ago. Joe, the owner, did send the check we agreed upon, but in the memo section it said that the damage was caused by the homeowner. We did not agree with that and therefore did not cash the check. Joe called on October 17, 2016, and asked if we had received the check. We said we did, but disagreed with what he put in the memo section. Joe, the owner, said he would reissue the check and demanded we take down our previous Yelp review. We told him we would not do this. Joe said that things are going to "get nasty" if we do not remove the post and he threatened us with other actions if we did not do what he demanded. We were not upset with the work that was done at our house. The repipe was satisfactory. However, their customer service lacks integrity. Joe, the owner, was aggressive and unprofessional, in my opinion, and kept saying he wanted to leave this as "friends" only if we did what he told us to do. read more

The first attempt of repiping started in December 2015. Dirt and debris covered our floors and most of our interiors, which we were not forewarned of. Upon completion, cleanup was almost nonexistent as metal pieces, nails, and screws were found inside our house, where my toddlers could have easily found and have been injured. We also personally hired 12-hours of deep housecleaning, where I cleaned alongside the cleaners. When the installation of the new pipes was completed in about a week's time, the job that Integrity Repipe had done, was NOT approved by the LA DBS. In addition, the inspector was surprised that no one from Integrity Repipe had shown up for the walk through of the inspection. As a result of the poor job that was done incorrectly due to the installers not knowing our home was part of the city of Los Angeles (that would inspect our home), our family had to endure another week of uninstalling and installing of the pipes. Obviously, this redo required more out-of-pocket deep housecleaning expenses, which Integrity Repipe did not pay for. The job was finally completed to code in January 2016. On 2/5/16, I had communicated with Integrity Repipe about getting the drywall patch workers out to complete the job that was never finished but I never heard back from them (since they had already been paid). I followed up about this problem as well as Integrity Repipe having cut out a part of my kitchen cupboard and damaging the side of the refrigerator during installation but they've given me the run around to call different office people to help me resolve this problem. First, Kevin the salesman told me to contact Joe, the owner or Heather in the office. As of August 2016, I've spoken to all 3 people and still no one has come out yet. They continue to waste my time and money. I do NOT recommend Integrity Repipe as they do not understand the meaning of their name. read more

This review is a bit overdue but better late than never..We had a slab leak back in January 2021. Few of our neighbors used Integrity Repipe so we called them up for an estimate. Noel from Integrity Repipe came out. Noel spent about an hour and answered all of our questions, he was very knowledgeable and we decided to go with Zurn Pex. The pricing was also reasonable so we selected Integrity Repipe.. After we made decision on a Saturday, they started demo and Repipe on Tuesday. Sal and his crew were very efficient and finished all of the Repipe in one day and we had running water by 5:00 pm!!! inspection was scheduled the next day and the few punch list items that were pointed out by the inspector were all completed on Friday .. The drywallers (Ethel and his crew) also came on Friday and finished the whole house (approximately 70-80 holes) in 1 day. Ethel and his team did a great quality job on matching the texture..the The whole operation was very professionally managed and orchestrated despite Integrity Repipe being a family owned local company.. Both Joe and Heather Ludlow are easily accessible and if you have any questions they are more than happy to help...hopefully our leak problems are behind us but with the 20 year warranty we also have a piece of mind... read more
