So I thought I'd save a few bucks by going with this company. Boy was I wrong. They charged $660 for 5 hours. It took them 5 hours to move stuff from a 2BR apartment. Here is the list of complaints I sent their owner Danyelle - One of your guys (not James) broke my trash can, the base is literally gone (I don't know how he managed to do that) He was trying to be slick by hiding it in the garage instead of bringing it inside the house so we wouldn't notice the damage - This same guy left trash from the aforementioned trash can on our street upon leaving (I thought they picked up a trash bag by mistake but I realized after seeing the broken trash can that it came from there. My mother in law had to pick up their mess on the street - A wheel is missing from our office chair making it unusable (the chair literally doesn't stand upright) pretty sure it's the same guy mentioned above - Also James did all the work while the other unnamed guy mentioned above was smoking INSIDE the truck on OUR time. - Most of our furniture now smell like cigarette smoke - I don't really mind that they took a 10 min "break" to get water before unloading our stuff but a 2 bedroom/ 5 min drive should not take 5 hours if both of them pull their own weight. - At the end of the move they didnt even bother bringing in the rest of our stuff. You can see random furniture/dining chairs/ barstools / dumbells in the garage - They left their wrapping blanket in our room with tempered glass from our office desk still wrapped insided This was left on "read" but no response. She hasn't returned my call (as of this review) either So moral of the story, don't waste your time with this joke of a company with no professionalism. All they have going for them is their low hourly rate but their employees try to milk the clock by having one person chill in the truck while the other one does all the work. After we requested that our furniture be pad-wrapped for storage, we were charged $1,200 for 60 furniture pads at $20 each. Before work began, we were not given a written estimate stating the expected quantity or warning that wrapping could add approximately $1,200 to our bill. Our concern is not the wrapping itself, but the lack of transparency about the quantity and total material cost. A $20-per-pad price does not clearly communicate that approximately 60 pads may be used. A charge of this size should have been disclosed and approved in advance, rather than presented afterward as an unexpected surcharge. We asked Moving Team Six to review the charge and consider an adjustment, but did not receive the adjustment requested. Before hiring a moving company, get the expected material quantities, per-unit prices, total estimated costs, and approval process for additional charges in writing. They placed things exactly where I wanted them without needing a map, a diagram, or 600 questions. And!! They asked just enough to keep me involved without pulling me into any chaos. The Little Moves crew that came out today was spectacular beyond belief. I am a serious amateur…read morephotographer and for the past 12 years I have had an industrial size Epson printer in my second floor condominium in Fountain Hills. The printer itself (excluding the stand) is about 3 feet tall and roughly 7 feet wide so it is ungainly at best. It' weighs 218 pounds according to Epson. I needed it moved out of the condominium and down a flight of stairs into a U-Haul truck. This was a very challenging job, and the two men in the crew took it in three stages. Going down the stairs was obviously the most challenging, and I could see in their faces signs of visible strain and perhaps even pain. Sometimes the strain seemed 7 to 8 on a scale of 10. When they got to the bottom of the steps they took a well-deserved break before going across the parking lot to the U-Haul truck. I have to say that this is one of the finest examples of going above and beyond and doing a very difficult job to utter perfection. Their professionalism showed through, and I feel compelled to let everybody know that. I did tip them generously and you should too! The owner Tania has an awesome company and a knack for selecting incredible employees. I used them before to move an ungainly and heavy potted cactus from one condominium to another many years ago and I remember they did a fantastic job and then as well. Five stars is an understatement. Five hundred stars would be more like it.
