Although they never really could find the source of the water, I couldn't be happier with all they did in trying to find it. Both worked non-stop searching both inside and outside for the source of the water. Both were such gentlemen and went over and above. They set the water softener to regen that night. They told me they would come out next day if water recurred. It ran that night, but nothing happened. I'll continue to call Seiter when something goes wrong. Very dependable company!

In July 2015, this company was hired by my warranty company to replace a fried component on my HVAC. The following year, May, 2016, I got my usual service company to perform the Spring maintenance and they told me according to their readings, the system was under-charged. I said that was impossible as this was just repaired and they suggested I call the company that performed the service. I called Comfort Solutions and they came out to test the system and they claimed that their reading indicated that not only was my coil bad but also that I should replace my TXV (thermal expansion valve) to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars. They charged me for the diagnostic to boot. I called my company back and because they are actually capable and I trusted them and they wanted to be thorough and provide good customer service, they checked for leaks for free and reiterated that there was no way the numbers were indicating anything other than an undercharged system. Called Comfort Solutions back and told they stood by their completely incorrect and rip-off position. Why do I say this? My company was so confident in their diagnosis that they made me the following deal: they offered to charge the system and if it ended up not fixing the problem or it ended up being something else they would refund me everything. Guess what: in May 2016 they charged the system and my HVAC has run flawlessly for 3 whole summers. Comfort Solutions wanted to charge me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for a problem that didn't exist. Also, since replacing the parts they wanted to replace would require re-charging the system, there would have been no way to prove what the root cause was. Stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company. They charged me for the diagnostic and I paid the other company to charge the system. These guys are terrible. If the company doubts this story or claims anything of the like, I still have their diagnosis sheet where they recommend this action. If these items needed to be replaced how do they explain 3 years of running flawlessly in extreme heat when I keep my house at 68 in the summer. I do not want this company to contact me at all. I chalked up the $100 lost for the fake diagnosis and the money I had to pay to recharge the system properly as water under the bridge.

They showed up on time, introduced themselves and immediately made me feel at ease. It was very apparent to me that they were knowledgeable with the install and that Mike had communicated with them about everything that needed to be done (removing a 1970's era humidifier from my crawlspace and patching the hole). I was pleasantly surprised with how polite both installers were to each other. They routinely checked on each other and told each other thank you. Finley even asked Joe several times if he was getting too hot outside. When Joe had a question, Finley would answer it respectfully. He never seemed bothered or in a hurry but genuinely waned to help. I don't think I would ever see this level of respect in another company. Finley and Joe did a fantastic job on the installation. They were very efficient and organized. They cleaned up the worksite and even made sure that the fence was closed for my dogs. I'd urge others to be cautious with Mr. Comfort Heating and Cooling…read more Two years ago, we hired them to replace the compressor on our AC. Even after that repair, the system never ran properly. The next year the coil broke, and they came out to replace it, charging a very high price for both parts and labor. We only realized how overpriced it was after a different technician later looked at the work. This year, the same compressor they installed just two years ago failed again. Their quote to replace it was around $2,000 for labor alone -- roughly triple what an independent technician quoted us for the same job. We've also paid for a membership for years that was supposed to include two inspections annually. Those inspections never happened. When we asked, they said we hadn't answered their calls -- but we never received a single call, email, or letter from them. Most concerning of all: when the new technician inspected the unit, he told us the parts had been installed incorrectly, which likely explains why they failed so quickly and why the AC never cooled to full capacity. Between the repeated failures, the overcharging, and the membership we paid for but never received service on, this experience cost us significant time and money. I'd recommend getting a second opinion before hiring them.

Mr. Comfort install/replaced a new boiler in our church building. They stated that they were…read morequalified to install the new boiler, after I was informed by a representative of Living Comfort HVAC that they were going out of business. The representative from Living Comfort HVAC set it up for Mr. Comfort to perform the installation. I came to find out that it was all a lie. Living Comfort HVAC never went out of business and the owner of Living Comfort HVAC was the father of the owner of Mr. Comfort. Mr. Comfort's owner knows absolutely NOTHING about boilers. He found some people to install the boiler and even they knew very little about boilers. The installation by Mr. Comfort resulted in no gas shut-off valve installed on the boiler, the circuit board was fried due to being wired incorrectly by the installers from Mr. Comfort, and they installed an incorrect circulating pump, which doesn't pump water throughout the 2-story building. The circulating pump they removed from the old boiler worked fine and could have been used on the newly installed boiler, but they took it with them and left an inadequate circulating pump. Before the boiler was complete, the owner of Mr. Comfort sent me a list of piping and other items that was needed to get water to the actual boiler. This piping and other item were already included in the price of the boiler installation, but they wanted me to pay additionally for these items. A damper motor purchased for the boiler was never installed. When talking to the owner about these problems, he said that the people who installed the boiler no longer works for Mr. Comfort any longer and I need to contact the manufacturer of the boiler. All of the people had quit. I've talked to other companies who are aware of this father/son scam, and they know the reason people have quit working there. I am absolutely sure that they have 0 knowledge on how to install new boilers. I implore you to save your money and pass this company by.

When I got home from work, the AC unit was still not working. I contacted them and the owner was at my house within 20 minutes. The problem was diagnosed and fixed. Upon packing up, he went and got the check my wife had written earlier in the day and told us because of the error, he was not charging us anything. We tried to argue that his time was valuable but he was hearing none of it and wouldn't accept anything for fixing our problem. I won't use anyone else from this point on. Honesty and integrity hard to find these days and when you run across them, you keep it close by.
