My oil furnace would not run. Had a tech take a look at it. He informed me that the computer board…read morewas bad. Also said they were hard to find. Called me the next day said he found one and that it would be $720 to replace. Seemed high. I found one on Amazon for under 200$ and installed myself. It was not the problem. After watching YouTube videos I figured out that the problem was a 20$ transformer that I had actually asked the tech about. Took me 5 minutes to replace. Fired right up. So either the tech isn't very good at his job or he was trying to rip me off. Either way this is not a company I would recommend.

I was convinced my water softener was on its last legs (30 years old), but Chris looked it over and…read moresaid it was in great shape. He pulled out a small box that was his test kit, drew a water sample, and said the sample was sufficiently softened. Diagnostic fee was $110- par for the course. But good to know that the this particular softener was made to last and, in his estimation, had another 5-10 years of service left. How many other plumbers would hear 30 years and react with "oh yea, it's time to get a new one!!"

I thought it was the water heater so called Seiter. Dan arrived about 3:45 and started checking things out. Chris arrived a short time later. They both worked non-stop trying to find the source of the water. They were here about 2 hours. Although they never really could find the source of the water, I couldn't be happier with all they did in trying to find it. Both worked non-stop searching both inside and outside for the source of the water. Both were such gentlemen and went over and above. They set the water softener to regen that night. They told me they would come out next day if water recurred. It ran that night, but nothing happened. I'll continue to call Seiter when something goes wrong. Very dependable company!

The annual service for my A/C was very thorough, and during the technician's visit, they checked…read morethe furnace and discovered a cracked heat exchanger that might have existed since the severe winter of 2025-26. I promptly arranged for repairs, as I occasionally use the furnace on cooler nights, even when daytime temperatures don't require it. Unfortunately, the first appointment was canceled at the last minute, and the second appointment couldn't be completed because the new heat exchanger arrived damaged, necessitating a reorder. Additionally, I was overcharged for cleaning the blower, which wasn't performed due to the heat exchanger issue. I'm still awaiting a refund and am uncertain about when the furnace repairs will be finished. This situation could have been managed more effectively, and I hope everything gets resolved soon. I will post an update when everything is completed as requested.
