It has been very hot the last week and I am sure we are not the only ones with a crippled A/C. Anthony's arrival was a God send! He was professional, friendly, informative, and very helpful! The annual service for my A/C was very thorough, and during the technician's visit, they checked…read morethe furnace and discovered a cracked heat exchanger that might have existed since the severe winter of 2025-26. I promptly arranged for repairs, as I occasionally use the furnace on cooler nights, even when daytime temperatures don't require it. Unfortunately, the first appointment was canceled at the last minute, and the second appointment couldn't be completed because the new heat exchanger arrived damaged, necessitating a reorder. Additionally, I was overcharged for cleaning the blower, which wasn't performed due to the heat exchanger issue. I'm still awaiting a refund and am uncertain about when the furnace repairs will be finished. This situation could have been managed more effectively, and I hope everything gets resolved soon. I will post an update when everything is completed as requested.

Last time we were here (at their previous location) the old machine had started making a terrible noise/smell and then it ceased to function. I feared the worst, but Vacuum Concepts did a great job of repairing and tuning it up and it's been great ever since. Glad we found them. The new location (just a few storefronts down) is spacious, clean and well stocked. They had some nice U.S.A.-made lambswool dusters and I bought one for cleaning ceiling corners and blinds. I was unhappy that they added a surcharge for using a payment card to purchase this merchandise. I do not recall if that was the case back when we had the repair done, but it is now so be prepared.
