I needed to replace or reinforce the rafter tails as the existing ones were rotten at the ends and wouldn't hold the gutter screws. They have a nice unique shape. They didn't cut the new pieces to match the old ones. Every day I regret not insisting on a redo. I was surprised they thought that was ok to do. It looks terrible. These are a feature of the house and add interest. Or used to. now they just show sloppy tasteless work. Also I asked for one downspout to drain on the front of the house but the drain pipe is buried around the corner. I wanted the water to drain from the gutter in the front ( it's a really long stretch with no other drain) and then turn the downspout to the side of the house at the top of the wall, so it's not on the front wall. I came home to a crazy snake formation on the front of the house. Later disassembled it and turned it to the side at the top. It is still really weird. Why would anyone choose to make the ugly contraption on the front I don't know. These guys may know gutters, but have no taste at all and don't care what your house looks like with the new gutters. I left the rafter ties unpainted hoping to cut them myself but it is too hard for me. The gutters are screwed in and I don't have the tools or the mojo to cut them attached. Just sucks. Painting as is. Soooo ugly . Every day I hate this and so the very late review.

We negotiated a payment scheduled to get our deposit back. They made one payment and then they said they were going through financial auditing. Next thing we know they're filing chapter 13. We only got one payment back and that was the smallest amount.

Mike has taken $5,000 of our money, only 2 hours of work was completed on April 16th and a load of gravel dumped in the middle of our driveway. No one returned. Stringing me along every week, telling me he's making plans, busy with family. That they'd come restart work next week. Telling me he'd move the gravel next week. Start on the wall next week. He was a no show everytime. Its been two months now since we paid him and Mike then blocked my phone number on 5/26. Won't answer calls or texts. I put out a bad review on every website I can, submit complaints with L&I and start reaching put to the police. Mike returns my call the next day telling me he was sick and didnt know how to respond to me. I've given Gravity Builders three seperate opportunities to just return the deposit so we could hire another contractor and let them deal with their personal matters. Everytime we were told they would complete the job. Finally Mike and some crew return 5/28 to finishing moving the single load of gravel from the front yard to the back. Reassuring me the wall blocks will be ordered, the wall will be built next week and the patio poured the week after. Here I am on 6/5 with no wall. No one ever returned to resume work. No blocks have been delivered. Vince does not answer his phone. Does not reply to texts. Hasn't ever replied or returned a call over the last 2 months. His number being the one listed on their website 206 578 8402. The company email gravitybuildersllc@gmail.com is disconnected. Every email bounces. Mike is still in contact with me but tells me its out of his hands. The company is responsible for ordering the blocks. He won't give me a name or number for his boss, just the email that no longer works. When I lookup the contractor license a Jessica Hola is listed as the owner. No clue who that is. I have no idea what is going on. It appears they are flat out robbing me. This is textbook criminal fraud, theft by deception. Now my family is out 5 thousand dollars. Gravity Builders stole from us. Now we're forced to spend time filing police reports, deal with small claims, etc... in hopes of getting something back. We won't be able to afford to finish our patio for another year at least. Now our kids can't enjoy our own backyard for another year. Shame on them. I can't believe this is happening. Looking into their bond, there are already 3 lawsuits filed against it. They must be low on funds and have turned to crime, literally robbing people. I feel sick. How could they do this to us?

Highly Recommended!…read more Martin responded to my quote request quickly and came out to assess the situation. I originally requested a gutter repair and cleaning. As it turns out, the issue with the section of gutter in question really had more to do with my prior gutter cleaning companies not thoroughly cleaning the gutter. This caused excess weight/debris caked in the gutter and it looked to be twisting and bending away from the house. Martin is fearless on a ladder and thoroughly cleaned the gutter. Beyond just scooping the leaves/debris out, he actually uses a hose and sprays them until no dirt or grime is left in the gutter. With all the weight finally cleaned out, this essentially fixed the "bent" gutter, but he also attached a bracket to ensure it stays in place. He also added a collar onto a loose downspout and provided a very reasonable quote for gutter guards on one side of the house, so I had that done as well. The next time I need a cleaning I'll definitely be reaching out to Martin and you should too!
