I did not use a mat or soft wheel casters for my office chair, and so damaged laminate in one of my rooms, but even this took 8 years. All other rooms are still doing fine with some years left to go, with only the dining room showing some bubbling, which is fully expected for mid-range laminate installed almost a decade ago. In 2017, their customer service was great, with quick response time and scheduling. They had a great choice of quality laminate and, looking at their website, they still do.

When Ron arrived he brought a new sample that we had not seen the day before. He had continued to look for a close match after we left. When he laid the new sample down on our existing floor we were thrilled to see how close it came to matching, We tried it in different rooms and it was the best we could have hoped for. No one, other than us, will ever notice the difference. When Ron sent us the cost, it was $2,000 less than another company had quoted us. We were very surprised. He also included a veteran discount, and we did not have to pay anything up front, We paid when the job was done and we were satisfied. The price included taking out the old carpet and hauling it, and moving the furniture from the rooms where the new flooring went. The crew that showed up on the appointed date and right on time. They were very courteous and professional. They did two rooms in one day and the third room was finished by 11 a.m. on the second day. Everything looks great. I am now having to go to the Contractors board and small claims court to solve this situation I paid $14,658 dollars by the way the charged me $2500 to level my 1000 square foot condo and the tiles are terrible they did not use leveling spacers. Also put grout and mortar in my shower drain which I had to pay to get snaked. The camera shows rigid dry concrete which by the way I just purchased the condo two weeks prior and have a full reporting of the drain working perfect prior to the tear out demo and installation all performed by Beno's. They threw all the trash in my condo dumpster even after paying for demo and dumping. I allowed them out to try and fix it and the contractor removed about 10 tiles and cracked and damaged the ones he put back in. Left it worst... In addition when I allowed them out for the drain all he did was blame my husband and I which we did absolutely no work with mortar or grout. please take the time to look at the pictures and video the shower was terrible look at the finish work I had the tile trim there and the contractor did not use it I had to pay another company to fix the ceiling and the drywall. His quote was a little more than I was expecting but hired him anyway. His quick response won me over. Fernando came on time the following week and explained what he was going to do. I needed work done in the master bedroom and adjoining loft space and it took him about two hours to complete everything including vacuuming. Just a note: all furniture was cleared out prior to Fernando's arrival. It'll probably cost more to have them move furniture. I'm very happy with the outcome!

That's not why you should hire Mike & Mike...well not the only reason, because their work is top notch. The biggest reason you should hire them (and I absolutely acknowledge I'm an old man yelling "get off my lawn!" here) is "honesty and integrity." These guys come from the old school of standing by your work and letting it speak for itself. My wife really wanted a fridge with an ice maker but the house we moved into didn't have a water line for that. I was trying to get an idea of what it would cost to have one installed so we could decide whether it was within our budget so we could pick a fridge and move forward with our lives. You would seriously not believe how hard that was. I made it abundantly clear to everyone I talked to that I knew they couldn't give me a binding estimate without actually seeing the project, and I begged for just a guess at a range...would this be somewhere between $200 - $2,000, am I looking at more like $10,000? Am I going to need another mortgage for this? I talked to probably 20 different handymen. 19 of them pretended they had no idea what it might cost and wouldn't even give a ballpark or a range without sending someone into my home so they could use their high-pressure sales tactics to make sure they got my business. They had either never done a job like this before, in which case I didn't want them, or they were lying to me, in which case I also didn't want them. Mike and Mike were the exact opposite. I asked what they expected it would cost, and they made their best guess and gave me a range of the top and bottom end based on really hard or really easy jobs. They were super flexible and easy to work with, and when the job was done they came in at the very bottom end of what they had estimated. They were on time, quick, super respectful, and my wife is smiling ear-to-ear. So yeah, there's plenty of handymen you could hire who will probably do a great job.
