I am now having to go to the Contractors board and small claims court to solve this situation I paid $14,658 dollars by the way the charged me $2500 to level my 1000 square foot condo and the tiles are terrible they did not use leveling spacers. Also put grout and mortar in my shower drain which I had to pay to get snaked. The camera shows rigid dry concrete which by the way I just purchased the condo two weeks prior and have a full reporting of the drain working perfect prior to the tear out demo and installation all performed by Beno's. They threw all the trash in my condo dumpster even after paying for demo and dumping. I allowed them out to try and fix it and the contractor removed about 10 tiles and cracked and damaged the ones he put back in. Left it worst... In addition when I allowed them out for the drain all he did was blame my husband and I which we did absolutely no work with mortar or grout. please take the time to look at the pictures and video the shower was terrible look at the finish work I had the tile trim there and the contractor did not use it I had to pay another company to fix the ceiling and the drywall. I had Beno's install carpet throughout my house about 5 yrs ago. Almost from day one a seam was showing which they tried about 4 times to fix and till today it still shows . We recently bought a house and Beno's installed carpet in our bedrooms about 6 months ago. The installer was very nice and did a great job. The previous owners were smokers, so the old carpet was gross!! Six months later, and the carpet is still great! No lifting, no random tacks coming through. Professional job for sure! So now it was time for new LVP in the rest of the house. Of course we called Beno's! We looked for the right color for about 4 months at other stores, thinking they had a bigger selection, but nothing was quite right. I went to the Beno's showroom with a sample of something "kinda" like what I wanted. They showed me a sample, and I said "YES...that's the color!!" And it was 80 cents per square foot cheaper than other places! The following Tuesday they came out to measure. We got the quote Tuesday afternoon. We paid the deposit Wednesday. They started the install on Thursday. We are so very happy with every aspect of dealing with Beno's. Great communication, great product selection, great pricing, and fantastic installers. read more

I unfortunately did not really have a chance to work with this company. I found them online and put in information to get an estimate. They called very quick and set something up for monday 8/19. Called me that morning to reschedule as their estimator was out...no big deal. Rescheduled to this morning 8/22 and assured me they would be here at 8:30am. Took part of the morning off to be here and it's 15 minutes past the time they said they would arrive. No way to contact them as they don't open for another hour. Have to say I am quite disappointed. Edit: an hour after their scheduled time, they showed up and called me. No apology just told, "well sir that is why we provide a time window". They need to figure out their communication because I was told they would arrive at 8:30am. read more

Beno's does it again! I'll start by saying this is our third job by Beno's. First our carpet, then our vinyl which has now been replaced with laminate. Beno's installed our initial downstairs flooring with vinyl, which we were very happy with but we had a manufacturer issue with it and Beno's took care of it from start to finish. They really tried to remove the burden from us (knowing how inconvenient it is to have your home under construction) to the best of their ability by handling everything with the previous manufacturer and letting us just focus on getting our family through the job. We switched to laminate and Carlos and Jose were our installers. They're both friendly, knowledgeable, CLEAN (cleaned and organized all of their things daily before leaving which I appreciated so much), timely and they updated me regularly on when they'd be wrapping up their day/starting the next day. One thing I hate is when contractors rush their jobs.. and Beno's absolutely doesn't do that. They work quickly, yes, but not so quickly that you worry about craftsmanship. Last but most importantly, Dede, (Beno's owner) is an owner who cares about her customers and the jobs that have her name on them. She truly wants her customers to be happy and feel like their money was well spent with her business. She's is fair and commonsensical.. a couple of times I thought, "surely this is too good to be true" because most contractors would say, "sorry, you're on your own, here's the manufacture's phone number, good luck." She took that all on herself and said let's just replace it and get you guys back to your life. Really couldn't have asked for a better outcome! 10/10 recommend and would hire again and again. read more

Received a referral to this business from floor and decor. The lady came out to measure for flooring, she was less than cordial. After waiting days for the bid, I called and was told I would receive it later that day. Weeks later I never received anything from this company. This does not reflect well on floor and decor. To the owner, no such phone call was made to or from my son. I assume the installer needs to have an excuse. Also the flooring was installed beautifully with leveling done by the flooring installer with no need for a concrete service. This was simply an awful experience. read more

We had Bob @ Beno's instal our backsplash and we couldn't have been happier. The attention to detail was incredible and the final product was just gorgeous. We requested tile to frame in the windows. We had rounded walls & Bob was able to make them 90° angles and tile them in. The windows are by far my favorite part of the tile job. Bob worked his butt off to finish this project in two days. If I could give zero stars I would. If you are looking for an honest and reliable company LOOK ELSEWHERE. The lady Jessica, I believe came out to do our bid and was in and out super quickly, got me a quote out the next day....scheduled them to get to work and everything was going super smoothly....UNTIL the day they came to actually start the job. The workers came in and said "oh uh we thought the flooring was already ripped out" we didn't bring the equipment to do this or the glue actually either." What?!? I explain THEIR BID says demolition of 469 sq foot of flooring and show them it. They apologize, make a call to the office and unhook their trailer saying they will be right back. I left to go get coffee and came back to your guys rushing to hook up their trailer and leave. Without a freaking WORD!!! I called Benos to find out what the issue was and they said they failed to meet my expectations and their was personality conflict so it was best they don't do the job since we started off on the wrong foot.... Failed to meet my expectations is absolutely correct, you didn't even have the decency to explain why you couldn't get the job done!!! They showed up without tools and freaking glue! This company is a joke and I think they underbid the job but couldn't just admit that so they decided to just up and leave. I would tell anyone that is looking for flooring to do themselves a favor and stay far far away from this terrible company, especially if you are looking for people with integrity or common sense. read more

I wish I could say they do good work, but I will never know. This disorganized, unprofessional and incompetent company cannot do one thing right. I tried to give them business and they couldn't return a call for two weeks. I finally got someone to come out and measure but never heard back from them. Called their main number and got a message that they were away and couldn't be reached. A couple of WEEKS later I reached them and they lost my file and all the measurements that they took. Said they would investigate and get back to me but of course they never did. There are literally 100 companies that do what they do. And I think each one of them has to be better than this mess. I have been trying to get my estimate done for the past month. My first estimate was scheduled and then one day before my estimate day they canceled on me. My second appointment was made and according to them they were at the wrong address. They have made me missed two days of work all for trying to get this estimate done. They don't even apologize or acknowledge that they messed up. this is horrible customer service as well as horrible communication. So not happy!! read more

We had a great experience. We installed approximately 600 sq ft of expensive engineered oak hardwood. In addition Beno's installed 5" base for the same area. Angela did the take-off. She was prompt and very helpful. The install crew showed up right when they said they would and did an incredible job. There were a few hiccups (Floor and Decor material issues) but Dede stepped in and made it all happen. In and out in the time frame I was told. The floors and base are beautiful. read more

This is a surprise to see so many good reviews, the experience was just simply avoid, do it yourself may be better. I bought a new house last year is around 2500 square feet, had them install tiles for 2/3 of the house, took them few days to complete the job, then the nightmare started... More than half of the tiles are uneven; the grout lines are not even, some are thicker some are thinner; a lot of the grout started cracking just a month later. The installer came back to check and ask me do I want to add more grout for the uneven tiles... I'm not expert on flooring, but I know that's not the way to fix it. Then few weeks later he return with only one box of tiles which is 8 pieces, that's not even enough to fix the entrance area. Took him whole day to smash the old tiles and replaced with new one and he didn't cover the work area so the sharp pieces was every where in the house, even in the kitchen sink and stove, took me days to clean up. After that repair, it was months until they start to send someone to check again, they finally agree to fix all the uneven area; however, since I work at night and only have 1 day off during the week day, the repair has to be done in section and one day a week. One of their field supervisor came and did an industry standard test, which is use a credit card to move around the tiles and if it stuck it is not acceptable, and in my house that's almost every other tiles. Then the case turn from worse to worst, for some reason they can't find the dye lot history of my tiles, so they keep bringing different version to try match the color which wasted half of the day on the first week and only able to do few tiles at the entrance. Since they only send 2 installer to destroy the old tiles and replace with new one, the process was extremely slow and difficult, since the tiles was not the same batch, they need to trim almost every tile to make it fit, that cause the grout line become even more uneven in thickness. The 3 days of repair created more issues, some grout now is completely missing and many adjacent tiles become also uneven because the whole job was done so poorly originally, when you rise or lower one side, the other side will become uneven as well. There are now few areas that you can't even move a book across, even adult will get trip if not paying attention. Not to mention the headache of cleaning up the mess every weeks, and now still have many small pieces of the old tiles go under the sofa and some area that can't be reach since they don't use anything to cover the work area. However, the biggest issue now is the color, the new tiles were obviously lighter in color and they spread all over the downstairs area with few new tiles mixed with old one everywhere. There is no choice but to stop the repair process and wait for the owner to come check which I think was the biggest joke I every encounter in my life. She came to the house with another supervisor and started to talk with her own mind set and never listen to me. The supervisor tried the same technique using a credit card to move around the tiles; however, this time he put the card upside down with the raised number side face down and move with force to skip through the tiles. The owner was following him inches by inches supervising the whole "standard check" and kept saying there is not too many tiles have the issue, maybe you just need more grout, now I know why their original installer will say the same words, if your owner is using this kind of standard of cause your employee will follow. She also negate and ignore the obviously coloring issue and saying of cause I can tell the difference because I lived in the house. From that I knew there is no need to communicated with her anymore, all she tried to do is want to get away from this, even offering extra tiles service as compensation but not focused on the actual issues. I never felt so disrespectful in my life, the job started back in March 2017; and took a year and a half for them to made the mess even worse. I just got the labor refunded last weekend but I have to live with the mismatch color and hazardous uneven tiles and need to spend money to replace all the tiles in order to fix all these issue, now with my family and all the furniture inside, it will only cost more than the original. Just to mention, I got the tiles from Lowes and they out source the whole project to Beno's; maybe that's the reason why they didn't send a good team to did the initial job? But even this should change the owner's attitude, I just wish I stay with the original vinyl, at least it is even and same color. read more

My wife and I did a backsplash and a wall in the bedroom and our installers were very professional and knowledgeable. Our finished floors are amazing. We recently installed new carpet and pad and new luxury vinyl planks and new baseboards throughout our home. The salesman was helpful picking colors out and was thorough in writing the contract out. The vinyl plank and baseboard installer was meticulous with his work. The caulking along new baseboards is perfect. The carpet installers also did a great job and were very fast and efficient. Both crews cleaned up everything when they were done. Two things I would suggest the Benos let their customers know up front: 1) the baseboards come primed but not painted and benos is not licensed to paint them 2) benos is also not licensed to do any subfloor or structural work read more
