I've used these guys a few times now. Fast response time. Quality work. Fair prices. Bonus: they seem like genuinely good people. Dealing with companies like this is what I love about living in a smaller rural community. They have done a variety of jobs for me : swapped out a water heater, toilet issues, faucet install, etc. They have earned my loyalty. Thanks Jim's Plumbing! I appreciate you. read more

Had a weekend leak providing overly unplanned buckets of ample water flowing from the ceiling and walls. Called for some assistance and they sent someone (who came even faster than they committed to). His name is Tom, and he had the nicest personality with an attention to detail and great work. As per my luck-it was a comedy of errors, but he stayed diligent and had us fixed up in no time. (Less than 2 hours). And the bill-was a great deal. Will absolutely use them again, and will recommend them 100%. read more

I have used Jim's plumbing for the last few years and every time they exceed my expectations. They are beyond fair, respond very quickly and their work is professionally done. Everyone I have dealt with is top-notch. Extra kudos to Tom! I highly recommend them! read more

We were having a problem with our solar hot water heater control. They answered our request in a timely manner. Mark came over and diagnosed the problem after climbing on the roof to look at the panel and then up in the attic and found the problem quickly, and then fixed it. He certainly knows his stuff! And thank you to his assistant Jarron. Highly recommend this company. read more

Jim's plumbing is great . I called them to give me a 3 opinion about a leak in my crawl space. Jims plumbing was able to repair the leak on the same day that I called and for a reasonable price . I highly recommend jims pluming. You will not be taken advantage of if you call Jim's for your plumbing needs. read more

Jims Plumbing sent their crew after a frozen pipe bursted. Mark answered the call & followed up as he said he would. They were prompt, professional & repaired the pipe immediately. Jims Plumbing has a Great Reputation for Good Reason. Mark even referred us to a local company to pump the excess water from underneath the home & the company helped initiate the insurance claim so the homeowner wasn't charged additional. Thank You So Much for the Excellent Service! read more

We had a leaking sink, and plumbing issues a lot of alkali build up in the lines. A slow flushing toilet. And no access to the back of shower. They showed up on time. Mark is very knowledgeable and what he does with many years of experience. Do you feel very comfortable about who shows up at your door. I felt at ease and comfortable ..And I feel like they went over and above what we asked them to do at a very affordable price. Plus they have over 10 years of experience. I highly recommend this company read more

I had a straightforward job of a drain line that needed to be snaked. Mark came the day I called and had it cleaned out in an hour. He knows his trade, but watch out for the bill. An hour's worth of work was almost $300. It's the first time I've ever used a plumber and will hopefully be the last. read more

They did an awesome job! Came for a mystery leak in my crawl space. Diagnosed it super quickly and went above and beyond for the repair. Asked if he could help with a second repair and he fit me in and helped me put an access panel in. Highly recommend all around. read more

Fast response to an unexpected leak, literally same day service after calling several others and being blown off and postponed for hours. I finally called Jim's Plumbing, they responded immediately and even close to closing/ after hours due to the other companies putting me off. He fixed it with no problems and was professional, polite, and responsive. Highly recommended!!! read more

I had a hot water heater installed and a toilet installed by them. They did a super good job both times. They were going to contact me to run a water line under the house to the ice maker and install new shut off valves under the sink but never contacted me. I called they didn't answer. I called recently to have the incoming plumbing junction coming into the house redone and a new faucet placed in the kitchen. A lady answered the phone and said he was on a job and would call me when done. He never called and I called back for two days with no answer. If they were that busy they could have called me back and let me know so I could have found some one else before it leaked under the cabinet floor and now I am having estimates done to replace the floor and cabinets and replumbed by insurance company. read more

These guys rock. I had some minor plumbing issues with a new home out here in Pahrump, and called Jims to service it. Not only were they here in less than an hour, and both my problems were fixed, with no upsell or crazy games were played. Nathan was awesome, and I appreciated his friendly and helpful attitude. The price was more than fair, and he was extremely quick and efficient. These guys are my new go to plumbers here in Pahrump. read more

Fabulous experience. They were on time, knowledgeable and did it right! Very professional. I will use them again if need be.

On time, great price, and quality work! Who could ask for more? I wish I would have called months earlier but I was dreading the cost of fixing a leak in our master bath . I was beyond thrilled that Nathan troubleshot the problem within minutes and fixed the problem at an INCREDIBLE price. I won't hesitate to call Jim's plumbing again. Thank you for the great service! read more

Wow! What a relief to find a well qualified plumber! He responded fast, stuck to his pricing & left the area better than they arrived! Jim's will be called for all our future plumbing needs! Highly recommend!!!! read more

Had a problem with the toilet. System needed to be changed for proper flushing. Called Jim. He was receptive and came that week. He was willing to come the same day if needed despite being very busy, I am sure. He was very efficient and did a fantastic job in a less than an hour and the price was more than fair. I have used other plumbers in Pahrump who overcharged and would have to go to Home Depot, making me wait over an hour to go get the supplies that they needed. Why over an hour was always strange to me and they would charge me an arm and a leg. With Jim, the efficiency was on a completely different level. He came over exactly when he said he would and called prior to coming. He inspected and knew the problem right away. He had everything he needed with him and took care of the problem within 30 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

Our Plumming clogged up and they came out and fixed the problem and also put in a clean out for us.

We have lived in Pahrump for a little over a year. In that time we have dealt with all kinds. We know the good one's and the bad one's. MARK IS ONE OF THE GOOD ONE'S. My septic system had a problem. Toilets where not going down and the master shower was filling with, you know, not nice. I called and spoke to Mark an was provided, by my request, info to possibly remedy my situation without a service call. He was very calm, cool and collected. I could not fix it. I called at about 11:AMish. Mark arrived within the time he stated, worked with a few tools at his disposal, to discover, after a few hours, a possible septic pipe directional error in installation. I asked the home builder where the septic system lines where and the direction of flow. The information provided by Top Rank Builders was incorrect. Most disturbing on the over all plot plan shows our well is located in the NW corner when it is actually in the NE corner. Makes me wonder what else is "under ground". Sorry not warm and fuzzy with TRB. However, Mark at JIM'S PLUMBING along with Sam at Tiberti Fence, Mike at Mobile Locksmith, James at JM Concrete, these companies rank the highest on my list of true good guys. Thank again Mark . read more

We recently purchased a house that the inspection revealed the need for a pressure regulator valve. The sellers hired another local plumber to do the work. Shortly after we closed we noticed a leak at the area they worked on. We called that plumber several times. 3 reschedules/cancellations later we gave up on them & called Jim's Plumbing. Mark scheduled for the next day & arrived on time. He inspected the issue, let me know what he recommended & started the repairs. The work was done in a timely manner and with quality parts. We will definitely call Mark with any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!! Thank you for getting our water back on!! read more

The day before yesterday at about midnight I heard a weird sound coming from the garage. I was tired and thought it was the water softener starting up and promptly went back to sleep. The next morning my wife jumped in the shower and told me we had no hot water. I checked the water heater and sure enough, it was dead to the world. I called the home warranty company and they sent my work order to Jim's Plumbing in Pahrump NV. Now this is my second experiance with Jim's plumbing. The first time I called about a septic problem and Jim told me he was backed up with jobs and wouldn't be able to get to me for a few days so rather than making me wait to be able to flush my toilets he recommended a different plumbing business that would probably be able to get to me sooner. I called Jim's recommended septic guy and he had my problem fixed in less than an hour. I have much respect for a business man who cares enough about his customers to send them to someone else if they might get faster service. This time Jim called me to set up an appointment to come look at my water heater and had someone at my house about 30 minutes after we hung up. The guy (I think his name was Nick but I am terrible with names so don't quote me on that) was friendly, curtious and knowledgeable. He checked out my hot water heater and recommended replacement rather than fixing it however the home warranty company would have to approve that. So it would be the next day before he could do it. The warranty company gave him approval to replace the water heater and he called the next morning to let me know he was going to replace the unit and set up a time. He showed up about 30 minutes later and not only did he replace my water heater with a new, larger, more efficient unit, he also straitened out the mess of plumbing coming out of it and cleaned up the area around it. I now have a new, correctly installed water heater and better water pressure throughout the whole house thanks to him cutting out unnecessary bends in the piping. Jim's umbing did great work in a fast friendly way and we really appreciate It! Thanks! read more

Mark is a straight shooter, honest, trustworthy .I called the local plumbing supply house and they recommended him . I sent him out to a job that already went bad with the previous plumber who was trying to take advantage of me being I live in San Francisco and this is a rental property ,he took care of the sewer backup in a timely manner and was very fair on the $ amount. read more

Sunday morning the water pipe into the house snapped. I called Jim's after finding some good Yelp reviews. My call went to Mark's voicemail. I left my name, number, what the problem was. That was at approximately 11.30am Sunday. We are on a well. No water for washing, bathrooms, cooking. It's now Tuesday morning. Still no reply. Our family had to spend the night in a hotel! A friend came at 6am Monday morning after hearing about the trouble on Sunday night and did the repair. Make your own decision folks. read more

Mark relocated a water softener for me. When done, he noticed that a pipe fitting on the filter case had cracked. He had also installed a new filter during the move. He told me he had a filter case in stock and that he would replace the cracked case for free. He said that he didn't want to stress the case and to call him when the filter needed changing. When I called, he refused to come out. read more

Quick and gave me a quote over the phone. So happy that Mark fixed our problem, will used him again for another job.

Worst plumbing company I have used. We bought a older home recently in Pahrump when we decide to get out of the city. Since it is older we got a home warranty plan. Not long after moving in one of the toilets started having problems and leaking everywhere. The warranty company sent Jim's Plumbing out. The guy who came quite clearly had no clue what he was doing and spent the whole time on the phone getting directions on what to do. Some time later we noticed the problem wasn't fixed but rather it was now just draining water under our floor boards in the bathroom. When we let the warranty company know of the problem they contacted them and told them to have a supervisor come out to fix the toilet. Well I waited almost two days for them to call and schedule an appointment before I called them and the guy told me "I must have dialed the wrong number". Ok, no big deal. He set up an appointment to come out. An hour after the appointment time I called and got no answer. Two hours after the appointment I was still waiting so I called and left another message. Later I got a call saying he was busy on another job and forgot but he would be out to our place for his first appointment the next day. The next morning he was still 30 minutes late even being the first appointment. When he got there he wasn't sure why it was leaking water but thought it must be that we needed a new toilet. So he said he would call the warranty company to approve that work that afternoon and then schedule to come and do the work on Tuesday. Surprise, surprise it's Thursday and I still have not heard from them. Not sure if I'm going to call them or call the warranty company with an official complaint. What I know is that the floor in the bathroom is completely ruined and this company is completely unreliable and does not have plumbers who know what they are doing working for them. The only good thing I can say is that they are friendly. Beware and find someone else to use even if it means having a professional plumbing company come out from Vegas. read more

My 80 Year parents called on a Friday afternoon to install a hot water they already had. Long story short- the giys that worked for Jim for 17 years quoted a price of $400 and said he would call back on Monday. !!! Thank goodness he did return his call as stated , my parents ended calling someone else that Monday and paid - $150. Disappointing- As Jim has provided service for my parents and their friends and neighbors for years!! Not anymore!!! read more

I have used Jim's Plumbing, on several different problems, in my home, and found them to be very professional, and willing and able to fix the problem at hand for the home owner. They work with alot of Home Warranty Insurance Company's, but I find out its cheaper to pay them in cash, or a check, than to go thru your Home Warranty Company, I would give them 5 plus stars,, for service and being honest. Which in Pahrump is a very big deal, to find some one honest, trusting, and will fix the job. I would call them again,, no question asked at all.... read more

Work to snake a clogged drain line took less than an hour and while he got the job done, in less than 40 minutes, the price charged was 3 times higher than the 2 other plumbers we have used in the past for same job. They were also 1 hour late for the appointment, with no call advising us of this. Shame on us for not asking for a quote first. read more

Jim's Plumbing was assigned to fix our shower drain from our warranty company. They came out and were very efficient.
