Our old system would make the most horrendous noises in the winter and just could not stand it, but this Trane is the best unit we have ever owned. On the morning of 9/15, I called around and left messages with a few companies. One company answered, but quoted me a very high call-out fee--which I accepted since no one else was reachable. Before that appointment was even set, the owner of All American called me back and said he could have someone out within an hour or so, at a much more reasonable price. I immediately said yes! He sent Robert and his wife Heather, and they showed up right away. Robert cut back the insulation, found the cracked pipe that was causing the leak, and was able to repair it within just a couple of hours. They were such a huge help, and we're so grateful for their quick response, honesty, and expertise. We received promising service as an introduction, between reaching out to me after the inquiry promptly and sending a technician the next morning - the tech was on time and friendly, seemingly knowledgeable so I gave them a star for this positive start. But when the tech had to call in the job after arriving to ask for a quote and they quoted us $1,200 to replace one hose Bibb outside - they said due to a soldering issue it would be a bigger repair and would have to get into the stucco wall. We said, thank you for your time but no way. Another company squeezed us in, they showed up also on time at first available opening and completed the job at about 1/4th cost compared to the quote we got from this company, no himming and hawing about any challenges to do the work, the other company replaced not only the leaky Bibb but also replaced a 2nd Bibb that had a small crack we didn't know about. The other company got all done in under an hour & no need to cut into the wall so it's hard to understand the pricing factored for our repair from this one.

Before I get into more detail about Odin Handyman Services and Andre, I want to first and foremost…read moresay this: he is honest, shows integrity, communicates clearly, and does not take advantage of anyone. My family and I have had the pleasure of working with Andre for more than 3 years now, and he has earned our complete trust. He has been in my home alone, and I can leave without ever worrying about a single item missing or broken. He is 100% honest and consistently delivers solid work. On Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, Andre came by to install two garage ceiling racks (photos posted). As always, he did an excellent job--measuring carefully, using a stud finder, and ensuring the racks were securely mounted into studs. While he was there, I asked for a rough estimate for laminate flooring in three bedrooms and one bathroom. Andre suggested vinyl flooring instead, and after doing my own research, I decided to go with vinyl. True to his word, within two days he came back with a detailed and fair quote, and I decided to use him again for this larger project. On Monday, September 9th, 2025, at approximately 8 a.m., Andre arrived to start demo and install the vinyl. During demo, his team members, Nikolie and Kamil, arrived to assist--and once again I was impressed. Both were professional, polite, and easy to talk with. Together, the team delivered excellent results. By the end of the day, the job was fully completed, exactly as Andre had promised. I've posted photos of the finished work so others can see the quality for themselves. I could have gone with a big flooring business that would have added extra charges for everything, but I chose Andre--and I do not regret it. The work looks amazing in every room. To show just how rare his integrity is: the night of completion, after payment, Andre reviewed the invoice and realized I had overpaid. Without hesitation, he immediately tried to reach me. I didn't see his call until the next morning, but the very first thing he did was call, explain the mistake, apologize, and return the money. That kind of honesty is not common, and it reinforced why I trust him so much. As a homeowner who has struggled in the past to find a reliable handyman, I can't say this enough--Andre is not only skilled and dependable, but he is genuinely trustworthy. I would hand him the keys to my home, my vehicle, even my wallet, and I would never have a single doubt. If you are looking for someone who stands by both his work and his word, Andre is the one you want.
