The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

We had several concrete contractors come out and went with Ozzy D because he seemed reasonable. On March 3rd we spoke with Joe D. and made an appointment for March 10th. The start time was 730 am and it was slotted to be a 2 day job. March 10th rolls around and for that day I put everything on hold. I am thankful I did not hold my breath. 730 am rolls around then comes 930, no contractors are here so I call and the number I call rings 4 times then into voicemail. I leave a message and ask for a return call. 1130 am comes and goes and NO CONTRACTORS. I call and again leave a voicemail. 230 pm comes, I leave for work and decide to call. I'm expecting the voicemail but Joe D. picks up this time. I speak with Joe and he sounded very disorganized because I coule hear him shuffling papers. He asks me if I know what the start date is, of coarse I do because we agreed. He shuffles more papers, asks for my address several times and says that it looks like its their fault because he did not write down the appointment. Well, no shit Sherlock... During my brief conversation I told him that I would like for them to come out and do the job but I am expecting a drop in the price because like Joe D said it wad their fault. Joe then says he cannot approve of it and has to talk it over with Ozzy. I tell Joe that I expect a call tomortow morning which would have been March 11th. March 11th comes and morning turns into afternoon and just like the day before, nothing.; Not a return phone call. I call Ozzy D when I get to work and I tell them, in a voicemail of course that going foward that I do not appreciate being strung along like they way they did us. They are very unprofessional and that I would remember this bad experience for several years and that I will tell many of my friends of this bad experience.
