My body and mind left feeling so relaxed. It was an amazing start to the new year! My girlfriend and I saw Bob and Sarah last week. They were super flexible with our appointment. They spent the right amount of time (not too much and not too little) getting to know us and our bodies before beginning. We both got 60 minute deep tissue massages and they really did spend 60 minutes working on us. For $70 each, it was definitely worth it. And what better way to spend a cold day!? In my opinion, any great experience at a business gets 4 stars and its either an exceptional product or exceptional service that earns it 5 stars. They earned it for both. They're rated 5 stars for good reason! A few weeks ago, I was running on the treadmill and turned my head to stretch a bit. One of my first runs of the year. About an hour after the workout, I was tight and in pain in my neck...left side. I sat all day thinking it would calm and go away and it didn't. By the end of the day, I was using my entire body to turn my head. Strange enough, the exact same thing happened last year while running on the canal path with a girlfriend. It was one of my first runs of the year, we were chatting along our run, and I would look over every now and then during the run. After that run, I had an awful pain and tightness that wouldn't go away. Last year, I contacted an LMT to try to work out the pain (& what I thought was a knot). Unfortunately, that LMT wasn't able to rid of the pain and she referred me to a Chiro. I ended up going to that Chiro twice weekly, for about 6-8 weeks. After hundreds of dollars to the Chiro, I felt better. THIS YEAR, when the exact same thing happened on the OTHER side of my neck, I headed to Yelp to find a different LMT and see if this could be worked out thru massage instead of the Chiro. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! Bob used a soft tissue technique and worked on my upper shoulder and neck area the entire hour. That did it. Bob did it! He was able to find the pain and heal me. No miracles happening, just pure competence in his profession. I am SO impressed and I'm happy to refer them. read more

My husband and I took a couples massage class with Sarah. It was great! She was very knowledgable and we learned a lot. She catered to our needs and taught us techniques that were specific to our needs. For example she showed me moves to do on my husband because he had tighter upper back muscles. She was also flexible in that we could focus on whatever areas of the body we wanted. She also provided us with notes to take home. There was no pressure to purchase anything either. Although I do plan on going back for a massage. She knows the body and muscles well and I would trust her to help my aching muscles :). read more

I have had massages from Sarah on and off for probably ten years now, but I saw her most recently for prenatal massage in my third trimester. I was having a lot of aches and pains and really outrageous swelling towards the end of my pregnancy. The massage from Sarah really helped relieve some of the soreness and get the lymph moving again in my legs. It was very important to me that Sarah has experience with prenatal massage, so I could just relax and not worry about any harmful side-effects or what not. Pampering is always good during pregnancy, but the massage, and the essential oils, and the music, and Sarah's reassuring demeanor, it was just so good for my soul. I highly recommend it. read more

I received a gift certificate here for my birthday and wish I had a million more. I love everything about the place and the practitioners. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. Sarah gave me a choice of oils to use, which she kept in a chest, and it all felt very magical! We listened to Native American flute and her hands moved fluidly and with strength. Receiving a healing energy Bodywork session from Sarah is giving yourself the gift of healing at a deeply restorative and cellular level. I have been having some back pack so she knew EXACTLY what to do she was VERY conscious and made my body feel BRAND NEW! My fiance' and I enjoyed a one-on-one couples message class held by Sarah and it was wonderful!! Incredibly informative and fun! I had never even had a professional massage, let alone learn to give one! Sarah made us very comfortable from the start and the whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. She took her time teaching us new techniques and didn't mind going over thing a few times when I struggled to grasp the move. You can always tell that someone is knowledgeable based on how they are able to teach others- and Sarah was great! I would love to go back and get a message from her.
