Absolutely awful company with zero integrity and no customer care. We chose to spend 35K between…read morerange and a fridge. The 16K fridge arrived damaged and rather than just immediately making it right they put it off on a repair company to come out for a product that was purchased NEW (no way it was new). Long story longer, the company who they chose to deliver our fridge had zero business going so and was outsourced via Starpower-(probably to line their pockets). No one helped us and ultimately we were given the run around and they could have cared less about what they sold us. I 100% believe they are selling products known to be damaged/used returns which is why our fridge arrives in the shape it did and by the wrong company. I know because when we got it sorted out with the manufacturer, they sent the only company (per their words) who is allowed by them to install. The replacement also arrives fully wrapped, boxed, etc. the way you'd expect. Had we not gone to bat and put our own efforts into this, Ed Kellum and StarPower would have happily left us in a mountain of turmoil. I will never recommend them to anyone and wish we would have supported another business given what we found out on the customer side.

The mounting of my TV done by my technician Brian was done extremely carefully and also their price pretty much beats everybody elses (I called about 12 places). Before the job even began, I had purchased some Channel Master equipment, and during our first phone call Tom honestly told me which items to keep and which ones to return, saving me money instead of trying to sell me more. The quality of their craftsmanship was outstanding, and their commitment to customer service was even more impressive. It's rare to find a company that's this honest, professional, and genuinely focused on doing what's best for the customer. DW Surveillance Solutions was hands down the best contractor I've hired on Thumbtack so far!…read moreFrom the moment they arrived, I was impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable, and professional they were. I felt so confident in their work that I had them quote a second job for my elderly mother -- and they were able to do it the same day! Unlike larger companies that send out generic, automated quotes, DW Surveillance took the time to visit my home in person, assess the layout, and have a real conversation with me about what I needed. It was refreshing to deal with real people instead of a bot. When you're having security cameras installed, trust is everything -- and I felt completely at ease with them. They went above and beyond, even climbing into my attic and discovering a bug infestation I had no idea about. As a widow who's not comfortable getting up there myself, they kindly took care of it with some spray I had on hand. That kind of thoughtfulness and care is rare these days. Throughout the entire installation, I felt comfortable -- which isn't always the case with strangers in your home. Honestly, if I'd had groceries on hand, I probably would've made them lunch! That's how great the experience was. Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received, but the service was far superior. I love supporting small, up-and-coming businesses like this because they truly care about their work and their customers. They even told me not to hesitate to reach out if I had any questions about the Ring app or adjusting the zones they set up for me. Amazing service, fantastic team, and just genuinely good people. Highly recommended -- FIVE STARS!
