Blueray (Sam) came by and found that a broken wire (thanks Huskies) was all that was causing the issue and the unit was just fine. One hour later that was repaired (plus some advice on cleaning the units) and we saved ourselves thousands based on real advice and much better quality than the other place we called first. Highly recommended based on quality, thoroughness and friendly service. Plus was in and out same day I called.

Came by the next morning and quickly diagnosed that the issue was that my Nest thermostat that was previously installed wasn't compatible with my existing wiring. They then went out and bought a compatible thermostat, came back and installed. They also mentioned that there was a small leak in the refrigerant line and could try to patch and fill if I wanted or I could always have them come back in the future. I asked them to just finish the job if they could, and they actually came back in a couple hours to finish the job. Now the AC unit is working great - the place feels like an ice box! We had a very disappointing experience with Eco Air…read more We originally hired Eco Air to repair our heating system. It took three separate service visits before they diagnosed the issue. During the first visit, they told us the main control board had water damage and needed to be replaced, so we paid for a new board. Looking back, I still question that diagnosis because the electrical connection should have been properly enclosed. Several months later, one of our air conditioning units stopped working. When we inspected the equipment, we discovered that Eco Air had left the electrical outlet boxes for both HVAC units uncovered after their previous service. The covers had never been screwed back on, leaving both electrical connections exposed to rain, snow, and the elements for approximately five months. One unit has already failed, and the second unit was left exposed in exactly the same way. We now have no confidence in its condition or how long it will continue to operate. When we contacted Eco Air, we expected them to investigate the issue and stand behind their work. Instead, they largely avoided responding to us. We repeatedly asked for updates and a plan to resolve the problem, but received little communication and no meaningful effort to take responsibility. Because Eco Air failed to address the issue, we ultimately had no choice but to hire another HVAC company to inspect and repair the system. It is extremely frustrating that a company hired to repair one HVAC system left both HVAC systems exposed to the elements through careless workmanship. Customers deserve accurate diagnoses, quality workmanship, prompt communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Based on the quality of the work and the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend Eco Air.
