After 12 years at my company I can say I dislike my employer for the first time for putting our medical coverage in these incompetent peoples hands. Basically hired Quantum Health to deny claims and act as middlemen between insurance company and medical providers. I was recently told by my doctor of 15 years that he doesn't think his office can handle the demands Quantum Health is putting on his back office staff to get basic claims approved. Sad to see employers use shady companies like Quantum Health to penny pinch without any regard for what their employees will go through. Side note, found out Quantum Health removes negative reviews and makes it hard for people to find their official review page unless you enter the city of their main office which is Dublin in Ohio.

I am being treated…read moreat The James by a wonderful medical oncologist, and his treatment plan is shrinking my tumor, with a potential for a very good partial response and even complete response. Unfortunately, Quantum Health, who is the plan administrator for my Anthem insurance, is denying further treatment as recommended by my oncologist. Specifically, they have declined to approve the combination of continued chemotherapy of gem platinum durva (immunotherapy and two chemo drugs), referencing a clinical trial that stopped this protocol after a fixed period of time. The trial Quantum references as the basis of their denial, was for patients enrolled with gall bladder, intrahepatic, and extrahepatic, NOT cholangiocarcinoma. Given my BRCA gene status, my oncologist recommends individualized treatment ensuring receipt of platinum as my tumor continues to shrink (over 40% from discovery to my last CT scan of May 2025), with the majority of this response coming from the platinum chemotherapy. My oncologist has appealed twice, with both oncologists contracted with Quantum agreeing with his assessment. However, Quantum administrators choose to ignore this and continue to deny gem plat durva. My doctor continues to appeal, and I continue to work through the process with Quantum, but I am reaching out through social media as a desperate alternative attempt to get the lifesaving care I must have. Quantum, please work with these very knowledgeable health professionals to look into my case further. This is quite literally a matter of life and death. Please restore my faith in your company and your stated "Human-Centered Approach" and respond.

    Danny Latner and Shelby Jurgens are the worst two customer service reps you can have in business…read moreinsurance. I wouldn't trust Danny with my worst enemies child. I don't think either one knows how to write an email to the correct person. Nor own up to the mistakes they consistently made. Shelby and Danny would email my project managers about payments to our account and never sent it to the email they had for our accounting department. They stopped providing their services because we were late on a payment to the actual insurance company. I called the insurance company and they let me know that no services should have been stopped and we were still in good standing with them so they weren't sure why they stopped providing us with the documents we needed to grow our business. My business was harmed due to their negligence, don't let yours be!

When I moved out of the rental at the end of May, I never contacted them to cancel my policy. I figured I just would not renew. My policy renewed Jan 1st. I did not renew, and sent them an email that I moved out 5/31/21. Now I'm getting a letter stating I owe from the 1/1/22 thru 1/17/22 and if I don't pay it will be turned over to collections. This is the worse. I even moved out of state and they are sending these letters to my new address. NEVER EVER PAY FOR A YEAR OF RENTER'S INSURANCE UPFRONT. THIS COMPANY WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW YOUR POLICY AND MAKE YOU JUMP THRU HOOOPS TO GET AWAY FROM THEM!

They asked for everything in writing and said they would call me back, well they didn't. I called nationwide the next day since my auto policy was still showing on my account. Nationwide left my agent a voicemail after not being able to reach them. They said they left my number to get back in contact with me. Never called me. Finally called after a few hours, I called my agent directly..tried to explain what was happening and the woman cut me off saying she handled it. She was rude the first time I called asking if I was switching insurance & then this time snapping at me saying it will reflect on my account after a few days. NOT a way to do business & I won't be coming back to them when I get my new car.

They couldn't complete very, very basic things with any sort of timeliness whatsoever. I had several conversations with them about their low customer service levels but nothing ever changed. They would promise to send me policy information I needed and then it just never happened. They started writing policies for me without me even requesting them. And, when they did this, the policies included incorrect information which isn't surprising considering they never spoke with me to get the correct information. When I needed to remove my ex husband from my auto policy it literally took weeks to complete this and I ended up paying for his auto insurance during that time. If you expect any sort of speedy or efficient customer service or accuracy from your insurance agent, you should consider a different agency. I'm still a NW customer/member but just not with this agency.
