I can call or email with any questions and he gets back to us quickly. He is always looking out for our best interests. Brian makes sure we have the insurance we need at the lowest possible costs and whenever we have had to file a claim he stays in the loop and looks out for us. I always tell people who think they are getting a bargain on their insurance that it's not going to seem like a bargain when they go to file a claim and they are denied or not fully insured. Having Brian, I know that he makes sure we have the insurance we need and when we do have to make a claim he stays part of the process and intercedes if necessary. I also like having an independent representative rather than just dealing with the insurance provider. Highly recommend!

I contacted two independent agents and one brand-name insurance company. I was shocked at the price range for the same coverage. Jason Brofford at Detweiller-Brofford Insurance checked with different companies to get us the best deal, and the insurance he found for us was $1000 cheaper. We accepted pretty quickly! Every year when it's time to renew, Jason again looks around to find us the lowest price for coverage. This year, our policies are with Erie Insurance, top-rated for homeowners Insurance in the August 2017 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. In addition to saving us money big time, we've been happy with Detweiller's customer service. Emails are answered promptly and a human being picks up the phone. Worst insurance agent I've ever came across, a year ago in July started my policy paid my down…read morepayment , immediately noticed I was being charged $40 more a month then I was told, I have had a few issues but what takes the cake???? In sept I email Anthony asking could he add my daughter and her car today On Friday, the day I emailed he said yes gave me a quote, did not respond back Wednesday I Emailed again he told me she was under 21 he couldn't add her, at that point I already knew that because when he stopped responding I called Berkshire myself and was told that, October bought a new truck asked how much to add it? Was there a down payment? No it will just be its monthly amount added to your draft, so when I see the insurance draft was almost $500 I stead of $196 I disputed it and started emailing Anthony ask what is going on, I'm out of the office I'll call you tomorrow, 3 days later I'm reaching out again he calls says aww well you added 2 new vehicles ? No I did not I added 1 my daughter and (HER) car could not be added, I'll I'll updated that and get it to you, 100 emails later he send my updated policy cancellation is what he sent me for non payment , so I was supposed to give them $500 wait on Anthony to do his job and what do the credit my account? I think not I told him I disputed it and needed the correct amount to pay it. Aww let me not forget this past July they drafted me an extra $600 I immediately reach out to Anthony he said aw that's your down payment and I emailed before hand, which he did not. Down payment???? I paid that last year well to renew your policy you have to pay again. I am going to take him to small claims court because the fat that I paid 2 down payments on top of monthly , I know have to go pay another down payment to start a new policy, seems t me I'm paying for his mistakes , I think not. He have day after day to fix this and blew me off . Worst customer service I've ever had. I'll attach emails if it lets me. He just emailed and said I need to pay $444 to keep my policy and $383 a month ? My insurance was $196 a month I added a vehicle for $66 more a month but now I have to pay $383 a month and another down payment, even after I was told I don't have to.

Gardiner Allen DeRoberts has met all my insurance needs and gone above and beyond my expectations…read more My dear friend referred me to Jeff Levy at GAD when I bought my house 2 years ago. Since then I have been very pleased with his service. Jeff listened to my needs and wants and examined my then current car policy and what my then current carrier (State Farm) had quoted me on my home. GAD uses the services of 13 different insurance companies so, there's a wide variety of choices. Jeff was considerate to only check with carrier that he had had great claims experience with. For me he found Grange offered the same benefits as SF, but the deductible and overall cost was significantly lower. So, of course, I switched. I asked to meet Jeff face to face and he invited me to their offices where I met everyone I'd be dealing with on the phone if I ever had a claim. It made me feel at ease about working with them. Since then, I haven't had any claims, but Jeff gets in contact with me at every renewal period and discusses what has changed with my policies (cost wise) and what direction we should go. If we should look at changing policies or keep the same. He also checks to see if I have any changes I need to update for the policy. I was actually shocked he did this! So, I am very happy with Jeff Levy at GAD and would highly recommend him to everyone. I will update this review if I ever have a claim experience with them!
