I walked into the Allstate office to add my new car to my policy, and four or five people greeted me all at once. They got my new vehicle added to my policy and I was on my way again in less than 20 minutes. A few months later, I had to call them again because apparently totaling one's vehicle doesn't automatically remove it from one's policy (a company-wide issue, not this particular office) and the representative on the phone quickly handled the request once I explained the situation. She followed up with an email confirming the transaction, and the request turned over in time to be adjusted before my next bill was due. This one and only incident caused my insurance rates to nearly double. I called and spoke to Jared at State Farm regarding this and he talked down to me like I was a low life. He blamed me for my rates going up, telling me how much the accident cost State Farm, and that I needed to be more careful driving. The adjuster recommended this shop. On e the car was there, they gave me an estimate of around $8k. Once the adjuster looked for the cheapest parts and waited months to get them the estimate went closer to $5k. The body shop told the adjuster that the headlights that were ordered were not working correctly. The adjuster told them to use them anyway. When I got the car back it was several months before I drove in the dark and the headlights were pointed toward the ground. I took it back to be adjusted. The adjustment was all the way up, because they were faulty headlights and were unable to be adjusted up. I could not see any farther than 15 ft in front of me. Try driving at 65 mph and not being able to see. The adjuster save money and did not care about someones life in jeopardy. As long as he got his paycheck and got a pat on the back for saving money. He should be terminated and the 1st adjuster I talked with should be re trained at the very least. An insurance company should have the customers in mind and not the paycheck. But, unfortunately this is how it is in the world today. No one cares..
