I was skeptical because he didn't go very deep inside the attic when he first visited, but he saw enough to know what needed to be done; definitely comes from experience. His recommendations were so different from the other bidders, that I needed to do research and ask other experts in the field to confirm his recommendations. His recommendations were on point with the science of attic ventilation. The other bidders usually saw 1 of the 3 things he observed. Don't waste your time looking for other bids, Foam Engineers all the way.

I do not have to run the hvac equipment as often and the amount of dust in the air is a fraction of what it was (foam seals off air movement). We went with an unvented attack assembly in both buildings which allowed me to claim the attics as storage areas. Not only is the foam great, but ricks crew is 100% professional, clean, and fast. The service tech (it's usually Ben) calls a day before he is scheduled to come out and lets me know what he plans to look at. I really appreciate how we get the same service tech each time; he is familiar with the property and with our concerns. When he arrives he takes notes of what he does and leave them for us to review when we get home. When we had a new retaining wall built he let us know that he added in some additional traps to help keep the critters out and we didn't even have to ask! Every so many months I do call to see if we can schedule a time for him to walk around the house and spray inside rather than just outside. each time I have called to schedule this service the customer service rep has been helpful and friendly and I have always been able to get something scheduled for the day and time I prefer. We pay for treatments every 2 or 3 months and if they have to come visit in between scheduled service, it's still part of the package we pay for which is really nice. Rottler is a solid company and I would recommend them to anyone!

Of course holes were drilled into the walls as part of the process. But all the holes were secured back into place at the end of the job. I hired a professional drywall person to mud over the holes and sand them smooth. Now I can repaint as needed. I can't wait to enjoy my house being much cozier over the winter months! Our house a 2 1/2 story (all roof except first floor), built in the late 1800s. Each summer, heat…read moregot trapped in the roof and attic, making the upper floors impossible to cool down even with two constantly running whole house a/c units. I called several insulation companies last winter and Koala was by far the most responsive. Koala added a significant amount of new insulation to the attic floor (stopping the conditioned air from being pulled into it), a very strong solar powered attic roof vent with a thermostat, and also insulated our attic access panel. We were able to tell the difference this year as soon as the outdoor temp started to rise. Today it's 90 degrees outside and the 2nd floor - where we sleep - is at least 5 degrees cooler than it was last summer with the same outdoor temperature. The Koala sales rep was informative without being pushy or trying to oversell, the installers showed up on time and were both hard working and friendly, and the price was very fair. We even qualify for a federal tax credit! Although I haven't yet received a summer electric bill, I think we'll recover the cost fairly quickly. Even without any utility savings, it was well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Dan is our technician and he's super nice. The people who answer the phone have the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. In Spring of 2020 our every 2 months got out of whack because of the Covid-19 shutdown. In April we just had the outside sprayed and didn't want anyone inside the house so they did the inside portion in May. In June we were scheduled again and I had to call and explain that it was just serviced in May, blah, blah, blah. We needed service in early July and not June. They wanted to come again August 1st and I had to explain again they were here in early July and it hadn't been 8 weeks and we need it September 1st. No that's not OK you'll be violating your contract. The best I can do for you is August 31st. OK fine with me that's close enough. I can't be the only person who this has happened to because of the pandemic. Don't treat me like a leper. I am, in fact, spending money with you. Fast forward to the first week of September. We made a household decision that we didn't need our house sprayed every two months and we would be fine with every three months. We called the office and were met with more attitude. No we can't do that. So let me get this straight? I want to pay you to spray my house 4 times a year and you are going to tell me no, you can't do that because we are going from 6 times a year to 4 times a year? Yes, that's correct. I needed the work done pretty much immediately to satisfy the buyer on the home I am selling with closing coming up in a week. Nick was up front and told me he wasn't sure if they would be able to get it finished in time. That is the only reason I didn't move forward with using them. I would not hesitate to call them in the future about future roofing needs.
