Texted several more times when I got there. Waited around and texted some more. Finally, they texted me back after I was long gone. I had already reserved glasses, chairs, tables, and linens to rent with this company and wanted to look over the wine glasses to make sure they were nice. The owner or whoever never showed up. According the to the hours posted, they were supposed to be open but no one was there. Luckily I called 4 Seasons Party Rentals and he was able to see me right away and did a great job for our 16-person lunch that raised $125,000. DO NOT use this business for party rentals. at almost $8,000 per person raised, it's not worth taking any chances. We need these donors and these donors need tables and chairs to actually show up. They could have completely ruined this important events. If you can't trust them to show up to a meeting, how can you trust them with your special event.

The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. If anything came up or if I had any questions, they were there and ready to help where needed. My wedding wouldn't have gone as well as it did without them, I promise. My order was placed on 4/12, including a 50% deposit, and I was informed that it would be ready for pick-up on 4-22. On the morning of 4-22, I go to email pretty party decorations to confirm my pick up time, and I see an email from the owner dated 4-21 @ 4:45 asking for my shift size. Im, thinking "So my shirts aren't ready the day promised" and I was busy prepping for an event. So, I emailed her back provided the sized and asked her would my order be available the next day which was Saturday 4-23 before 5pm. She told me no because she didn't have my size, but I could pick them up the upcoming Tuesday. WTF!!! So I told her to just cancel the T-shirts and I will get the rest of the stuff. She informed me that there was a custom order and it couldn't be canceled. Also, She would not take responsibility for not getting all the information she needed to complete her order on time. Mind you I placed this order nearly 2 weeks before I needed it and she still couldn't even get the information she needed to ensure the order will be completed on time. I was so fed up with her I nearly didn't wanna do business with her, and didn't want to get the order; however, couple weeks later I decided to hit her up so I could finally pick up my order. She provided a pik-up date of Friday, March 13 at 1 PM. On March 12, I emailed her confirm and to get her address, but she didn't respond that day. So I emailed her back the next morning, which was my pick up day, and she responds that she won't be available until 8 or 9 o'clock at night. So, I responded by telling her that I emailed her to confirm the day prior to picking up. She then replies " without same day confirmation i can't confirm a time". Like, WTF is this woman smoking. She's not in-your-face and intense like some of the planners we considered, and yet she gets the job done beautifully, is super on top of her stuff, and shines when obstacles arise (before and during day-of). We had a relatively complicated wedding, for ~130 guests, 2 completely different locations for ceremony and reception, and a lot of customization. Shannon was incredibly patient with us all the way, and truly understood what mattered and what didn't, and helped us create a day that truly looked like us. She also calmed us during the entire process, even when we hit major snags (like having the bar company cancel on us the week before the wedding) -- her expertise and know-how really came to shine during those times. No control over it and we watched a group finish 18 and restart by jumping ahead of us. Two of them were sharing clubs so it took forever, unfortunately only golfed 9 because of the length of time it took. Another bummer was online prices for tee times vs in store. Online said one price and in store it ended up costing more, real crappy to do that. Besides the tee times issues, it's a great course and a fun time.

When we arrived, the parking lot seemed empty. When we walked into the pro shop, it had the vibe it was about the close and I missed the every must go sale. I joked with the guy behind the counter and asked what was happening. He said everything was well and Troon had bought them a couple years prior. Finally, the course itself was ok. Definitely could have been kept up a little better. My friend forgot his water and asked if there was water on the course. He was told yes. Well, there essentially was...one at the end of the front 9 and one near the beginning of the back 9...and no paper cups. The carts were extremely worn. The whole vibe seemed like they were running on fumes, which is a shame because I have always enjoyed playing Hiddenbrooke. It was and still is a challenging course. One thing I have always disliked no matter the condition of its current status, their hillside driving range. Anyway, I hope I'm wrong about the course's current situation. I hate losing local golf courses.
