Prior to the wedding she provided referrals which is how we found our florist who was also great and very reasonably priced. She attended the tasting for the caterer and gave us advice up until the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding Annalee was a part of every detail. The day was much hotter than anticipated she helped move table and umbrellas around so people would not get roasted in the sun. She kept us on scheduled and dealt with vendors as they arrived. There was not a single thing that went wrong. How many brides can say that! If you are having your wedding in Sonoma I would recommend giving Annalee a call.

We hired Annalee as a "month of" coordinator in February, but she helped us far above and beyond that designation. She did so much for us that I can't list it all here. She was on top of every little detail and seemed to read our minds throughout the planning and on the day of the wedding. We weren't sure about a hairdresser, so she got a contact to do it somewhat last minute and at a great price. There was a problem with the rental delivery and pickup, which she handled completely, even after the wedding was over in the case of the pickup. Every time we turned around something on one of our many lists had already been dealt with. Since it was at the family home there were a million little tasks to do and things to arrange. Even in a place that wasn't set up for weddings, she didn't miss a beat. She knows exactly when to step up and make firm suggestions and when to let you do your thing. She is in control, but in a way that makes everyone feel at ease rather than tense. Everyone, from our family to the guests to the caterers (whom we know) thought she did a fantastic job. However after discussing our wedding vision and then hearing her enthusiasm and ideas we decided to hire her for décor as well. First, the ultimate product was fantastic. The vibe of our wedding was elegant, outdoor bbq. We wanted décor that was noticeable but blended well with our natural environment. Pam custom made signs, and strategically draped fabric to guide guests to the different on-site locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. One of her strengths is thinking about sightlines and managing the flow of people through the venue. She respected our desire for eclectic, simple, and drought responsible décor by decorating the ceremony aisle and reception tables with translucent vases and succulents. Additional touches, such as picture frames for seating assignments and a changing room constructed for the bridal party, completed our needs. Pam also was an organized and effective wedding coordinator, liaising with vendors, keeping us on schedule, directing guests, and helping us procure last minute items. She also went the extra mile to help us make alternate plans when last-minute rain was predicted for the day and she happily readjusted everything when the sun eventually shone! Regarding process, Pam was great to work with. When we initially shared with her our décor interests she amassed options for us to consider on Pinterest and edited the options well in response to our feedback. She also created mock-ups of possible décor options in our budget. My husband and I were very impressed with how personalized to our style the décor ultimately was. My Husband and I decided to go with the partial planning package and it was the perfect balance for us. We are from the Chicagoland area so having a planner in California where we were getting married was essential. Kimberly is also well-connected in wine country/the wedding industry and has relationships with many of the vendors who ASE has worked with over the years. This is a major perk, since she was able to point us in the direction of some of the best vendors out there! We always felt like we were in the right hands and were provided high quality recommendations by Kimberly. If something did go wrong, it was nothing made known or visible to either us or any of our guests. We signed Angela as our planner in May 2010 to help us with our Napa Valley destination wedding in October 2010. As we were planning our wedding from Asia and had less than 5 months til the big day, we needed a planner who was available and flexible to meet our demanding schedules. She claimed to be the "BEST PLANNER IN NAPA", provided us with "great" references, and assured us that she was very experienced in working with overseas clientele, so we paid our 50% of the fee to go ahead with Angela. (Note, she also emailed us that another party wanted to sign with her for an October 2010 event and given she has a quota of events she can do, we felt some time pressure... though, it was still our fault we didn't spend enough time to look around more thoroughly). Unfortunately, shortly after signing the contract we realized Angela was not right for us. We found out early on that her schedule was not very flexible to our needs and she was at times even unaware of the drastic time zone differences. Apart from canceling & re-scheduling several of our conference calls, she was unable to meet us for two separate in person appointments that we had flown in for from Asia. The first time was a brief business visit to the Bay Area, but given the short notice of our travel itinerary and not being her clients yet, we gave her the benefit of the doubt. But she was unavailable again when we planned to do another week long visit to the Bay Area/Napa to do our wedding site check and by that time, she was our planner. Maybe she was stretched too thin, or we were too far away, or we were not considered a big budget wedding, or that she often flies back and forth between Napa and southern California...but nonetheless something was wrong. Within the first week of signing on, Angela was out of pocket for the first few days, then she emailed to reschedule our conference calls that week and by the end of the week, we were told she would not be able to accommodate us when we were in town for our site check. With the distance and impending time crunch until the wedding, it was at that moment that we realized this was not going to work out and that Angela would not be able to provide the service we needed. We explained this to her over the phone and reiterated our concerns over email before asking if we could receive our money back or be billed for the work she had already done so that we could mutually cancel the contract. We thought this was a reasonable request given that only a few hours of work had been done so far and that our schedules just could not match hers. However, she was surprised at our request and refused to not only not provide the requested refund, but also stopped returning our calls and emails to work out an amicable solution. In the end, we were able to find a different wedding planner and had an incredible wedding. However, we are deeply disappointed that Angela seemed more focused on her bottom line than caring about the wedding couples who have been saving and working so hard for their special day...

The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. If anything came up or if I had any questions, they were there and ready to help where needed. My wedding wouldn't have gone as well as it did without them, I promise. I feel so grateful to have had the best team out there!! We also decided to hire the CLE House cleanup crew which was fantastic as well!
