I started working with Sarah, one of the owners, 6 months prior to the party. She was friendly, flexible and accommodating to our requests. On the day of the party we arrived to the venue an hour early and were shocked at the condition it was in. The windows were dirty, dust and cobwebs were on the window sills and walls, the linen was incredibly wrinkly, and the bathroom was DISGUSTING. There was hair and grime in the sink, the floors were filthy, a half roll of toilet paper on the roll and a piece of a tampon wrapper on the ground. It was apparent that no one had bothered to clean before we came. To make matters worse, the prep space for our caterer was completely inhabitable. The prep table was covered in their belongings, the sinks were full of wrapped dishes and the floor had not been swept or mopped. The worst part of the kitchen was the DIRTY DISHES with food left in the hallway on top of a molded sink. The only mop available had been sitting in dirty mop water for what looked like a week or two. We called Sarah who had just gotten out of surgery, so she gave us the number for Kayla, one of the other owners. I explained the situation, sent her all of the photos only to never hear from her again. Sarah did come by the venue 30 minutes after the party had started to have her daughter tidy up the bathroom (clean the sink and sweep). I later on had to go through the other rooms just to find toilet paper for our guests. At the party we were told she would be talking to the other owners about the refund. I followed up with her on Tuesday with no response. She texted me the next day, Wednesday, saying she would be speaking with her team and will get back to me that evening. I didn't hear anything so I texted her on Friday with no response and again on Sunday. They ultimately decided that out of the $700 we paid for the venue, we were only getting $100 back. When we reminded her of all of the photos and inhabitable condition the venue was in, their only response was that we used the space and because she let us come in the night before to set up, they were already being more than accommodating. As a business, I can't wrap my mind around being proud of the product that they presented and not owning any fault to how disgusting the venue really was. I would never recommend anyone to book this venue and hope no one else has this experience in the future.

I had to contact her from another number and she quickly responded, but when I told her who I was she just kept making excuses new phone, out of town, etc. She said she would get back to me, and gave me a new number for her and the "new" owner. That was over 7 days ago. No response from either of them. It's been over a month and no refund. I followed their policy and nothing. I am now hearing I am not the only person to have issues with them when it comes to money. I would never recommend this place. Which is sad because Dixon needs a place like this. But the business is shady, and unresponsive. Bad business and bad for our city. I will not attend events here either, so other businesses will lose out on business as well. I'd give them no stars if I could.

Not only was he incredibly helpful in meeting with us to see the venue, but also with any other questions we had as the date approached. We ordered the flowers 2 weeks before the event, I showed the staff a few photos of images I had liked and they helped me plan and prepare for how many flowers I'd need and we talked price point. This place is super reasonable and realistic. I love how authentic the people were and truly the quality of the flowers was amazing. Our wedding was over 2 weeks ago, and we still have a center piece with flowers from Strelitzia's. 10/10 couldn't recommend this place any more!!

Reyna was very organized, with transparent options and pricing. She offers custom photostrip labels, a selection of photobooks, backgrounds and props, and welcome/ signing area to match your theme. We opted to design our own photostrip label, purchase our own photobook and supply pens and stamps and provide a few extra props so they fully matched our decor (at our own cost); they did a great job of making sure these were all used. One star less because the trailer has a low capacity limit (so no pictures of 6+ friend groups packed together) and we felt the 4' rental LOVE lighted signs were a bit expensive ($250 for 4 hours). So many emotions and thoughts overcame me, it got to the point where we were thinking of just cancelling the wedding and eloping. NK was able to keep me on track and reassured me that everything was going to be ok. We were able to keep in touch via honeybook, facebook and phone and she was responsive to all of those. She assisted me so much, I had to make a very short notice change in venue because my previous venue wasn't going to be open on our wedding day, NK went above and beyond in finding venues that matched my budget and location. Her and her team designed our wedding beautifully and gave suggestions that would not make my wedding look so tacky. She was very personable, giving, professional, and organized, even my vendors were impressed by her! We, no doubt, definitely recommend her!
