He cut the threads in the dress and holes had formed. He then stitched the holes badly. I have taken two articles of clothing in for repairs recently here and have been very impressed by her work. The first was a pair of Lululemon shorts that I had been quoted $12 elsewhere for a new button and clasp. Yet another shop told me they couldn't do it at all. May quoted me $3-$4 and with a turnaround of a few days, which was perfect for my needs. The work looked great upon pickup! My second article was a button up-shirt that had a similar issue. Again, the work looks great and the price was excellent. Parking is strictly metered in the area, though there are some parking garages in the vicinity as well. A number of buses go by here, and it's only a block or two from Cartem's if that tickles your fancy! I would consider this place to be a hidden gem. The ladies that work here are nice to work with, have a very reasonable turn around and most importantly do excellent work. Highly recommended!
