This company was assigned to work on a clog. The tech that came onsite, was unable to snake the line with the problem due to issues getting around a bend. During this attempt water was thrown all over the garage and made a mess. He removed the toilet in my downstairs bathroom since he couldn't open the clean out valve in the area and tried to snake that. Water from the toilet was thrown on the walls, ceiling and floor. I can understand some mess but having to clean the ceiling and cabinets shows a lack of care for the work performed, the tech didn't even offer to clean this up just left it as is. After snaking the line he went to go get a new wax ring for the toilet. This was set into an older line and was not properly secured to the flange. Upon flushing the toilet the next day water immediately started leaking from the toilet. After the toilet was pulled there was a wax ring set into the pipe but not properly sealed. The ring didn't even go to the right height to attempt a seal. It would have been better if I had not had them come out to begin with. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They don't follow code and should just close their doors with the poor quality work and lack of integrity. You won't know the damage they do until the work they have done fails at a later date. read more

This was for a visit that involved measuring an existing opening to ensure that the appliance would fit the opening. This visit costs a little money and is required by Lowes before they send out an installation crew. The team did the measurement but they were completely unprepared and did not have the specs with them ---- I had to print out the measurement sheet and hand it to them. In addition, they did not check whether we had the required circuit size. As it turns out, the installation instructions specify a 40 amp circuit which was bigger than what we have. Knowing about the circuit would have saved us a lot of money in two different ways that I won't go into. I relied on this prep crew to be prepared regarding the above. Since they do a lot of work for Lowes, I would think they'd know about this minimal preparation homework. read more

Like others, I had a HORRIBLE experience with this Lowe's selected installer- they are TERRIBLE!. Showed up for an install, never contacted me beforehand... so obviously no one was home. Had to "reschedule".... which meant waiting another week and a half. They showed up, disassembled the existing dishwasher and then told me the new dishwasher could not be installed but they wanted to leave the unit at the house. I told them that if they were not doing the install, they need to take the unit. They took the components from our existing dishwasher so it no longer worked! I called Lowe's to arrange for a new installer and get the parts returned. They could not get a hold of the installer. I called 4 days in a row, spending an hour each time trying to get the installation done and parts back. They never returned calls. Lowe's never scheduled a new installer and cancelled my order after 6 weeks!!!!!!.... and did not give a refund, which is a whole other issue. I called the store, they told me the UNIT WAS NOT RETURNED so I could not get a REFUND! So they stole the unit?!?!! I got a text from this company today telling me that they are coming back to my house to "inspect" the dishwasher that they did not install!!!! I order a new unit from another company and hired a local contractor to do the install! This company is unethical. I reported them to BBB and hope to receive compensation for the unit they did not return AND for the components they took for the working dishwasher that I could not use for a month! read more

Not sure how this company gets bad reviews. Today Alec and Nick came out and answered all my dumb questions professionally and the entire dishwasher installation was far faster than I expected!! I enjoyed their professionalism and sense of humor! They even offered to clean up some simple things when done and I told them "I got it..." Look forward to using this company again!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Troy Burr (owner) completely half assed his way through the entire project. Left my bathroom in worse condition than what it originally was. I had to hire another contractor to come in and fix all his mistakes. The contractor was blown away at how unprofessional the job was done. Troy takes no ownership in his mistakes and in fact he just blamed the people that worked for him and told me that "it wasn't his fault". He talks over you constantly, he is a horrible communicator and would say he's coming one day and then not show up at all or just text me 5 days later with excuse's. If you want things done right, go somewhere else!!! read more

Do yourself a favor and try fixing/installing any item yourself before going through Troy (owner) and Installz Plus. The whole experience was a total nightmare and disaster. Besides the item I got installed being crooked and not level, the worst part of the experience was dealing with Troy. He will not take ownership for any mistakes made and will direct all blame towards the product manufacturer and even you, the costumer. He will call you and scream at the top of his lungs if you have an issue with his work. Not only is the work way below average, the customer service easily takes the cake for being the worst part. I highly recommend you go in a different direction before thinking about using this company. If I could've given negative stars, I would've. You're welcome in advance. read more

Because of the excellent appliance install (through Lowe's) by Nick & Alec last year, I called the company recently due to leakage in my bathroom shower, sink and toilet. The home warranty people sent this company out for a second opinion after the first company proved to be unethical liars. Troy came and fixed the toilet leak. He said it was coming from a rusted bolt. A few weeks later, there was a leak again. Troy again came out and fixed the problem. This time, he said it was coming from another part of the toilet. All in all, he fixed it and I'm happy about that. I knocked off one star because they don't return phone calls timely (I waited several days and had to call them multiple times) and another because when I was on the phone with him, he sounded annoyed that he had to return for the follow up on the second leak. I would have passed if paying out of pocket but unfortunately, this is who the home warranty company sent me. read more

I have a AHS, Home warranty they sent a Company that came out last week stating they had to order the parts from American home shield which I knew then that it was a lie and then to top it all off they denied my claim because the plumber put misleading information to a AHS. After talking to AHS their resolution was to send another company which was installz plus. I received a call for the appointment yesterday. Today I received a call from the technician /Plumber Troy Jr stating that he will arrive in 40 minutes. Troy arrived on time and very professional. Immediately assess the problem and let me know that he has to get approvals from AHS because this was a second opinion service call. He then contacted me again stating that he will be fixing the leak in my basement because the other company again misled/falsely sent AHS miss leading information. Troy Jr was very thorough and quick. very polite would definitely recommend install plus always for their honesty and integrity! And if I had to wait for them to return my calls I would definitely be willing to wait because you can't find honest and ethical company's anymore like them. read more

This company was contracted through Lowes in Ann Arbor Michigan to install two bathroom vanity tops. They damaged our walls during removal of old vanity tops. Sink drain did not line up with our plumbing,(Installz plus came in and did the premeasure), drain pipe is now on an angle. They refused to cut the splash guards citing that was the manufactures responsibility. The manufacture (U.S. Marble) said it was the installers job to cut the splash guards. We had to outsource that portion of the project to a different service. We will never use a big box store or their provided services ever again for any home improvement projects. read more
