The month before the wedding, she was incredibly on top of it. We got married at my parents' house, so didn't have any venue support to coordinate all of the different vendors. Christine made sure everyone (DJ, furniture rental, caterer, bar service, etc.) was on the same page, caught & fixed any mistakes in our contracts that might have caused an issue on the wedding day, and made sure that my entire family was able to relax and enjoy the wedding day. Everything turned out beautifully & any issues that came up she handled without us even knowing about them. Christine is easy to work with, navigates working with vendors and family members with grace, and made us feel so calm & comfortable throughout the planning process. I can't speak highly enough of Christine's demeanor, professionalism, & quality of work.

She always came to us and accommodated our nights and weekends schedules. She paid attention to the details of the very specific things I asked for and was very responsive to all of my inquiries (and I had A LOT!). If there was an item she had that we wanted to use, like a table, stand or decoration, she was happy to lend it to us which saved us a lot of money; and if she didn't have an item, she had expert recommendations instead. We ended up using all of her vendor recommendations and we certainly had her look into others, but every time we compared quotes, reviews and trials, her vendors were always the best fit. She even went out of her way to hand make us beautiful signs to welcome, give direction, display tables numbers, and more for all over the wedding. Thanks to Christine's pristine work, her ability to respond in a very organized and timely manner and most importantly, her making the wedding day smoother and more beautiful than my husband and I ever could have hoped, hiring a wedding planner is now my number 1 recommendation to everyone and of course my planner recommendation will always be Christine Alexander. Her team comes in focused and organized but without the attitude you sometimes get from event planners. Just watching them set up is amazing--every staff member has a floor plan and job to do. Just like a "well oiled machine" they get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible! They are always in control of the situation and I actually have fun watching them set up. All Set Events handles everything from the coordination of sound and light production, food and beverage service, to stage and decorations. Setting an atmosphere and creating a dramatic first impression is what All Set Events does best. Each event's success depends on all of these things coming together in an organized and united way--and Heather and her team do it with ease. There are always several different vendors at these huge events that have questions and Heather and her team are always the "go-to's" for answers. What I love about All Set Events is if they don't know the answer they will work to get it for you. This is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is sometimes plagued with big egos. I can honestly say I have never met anyone like Heather or her team. They are always willing to go up and beyond for the people/companies they are working for. She…read morehelped us turn our fuzzy, vague handwaves about "vibe" and "feel" of our ideal wedding, and turned it into the most incredible (wedding-themed) 2-day, 3-night party we've ever thrown. Whatever roadblocks get thrown into your way, she plows through and *makes it happen*. Any wedding planner working during Covid has to roll with the punches, but Jamie humored us through a few different revisions to the criteria for venue selection, a couple curveballs once we finally found a place we liked (in the middle of nowhere, with no dishwasher on site!), and so many, many harebrained ideas that she helped us filter out or make real. Creative -- delightfully. Organized -- incredibly. Communicative -- consistently (even when she had to chase us down because we were distracted ). Adaptable -- stupendously. Pragmatic -- appropriately. Some of the planners we met early in the process felt like they'd plan a beautiful event, but one that aligned with *their* aesthetic and needs (or a particular trend's), rather than ours. Jamie and her team made *our* dream reality (and added so many wonderful touches along the way!), and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

One word of warning is that hiring a good wedding planner doesn't remove the work to plan a good wedding. You still need to make decisions because it is YOUR wedding (and your wedding budget)! But it guarantees that you WILL have a good wedding. And we (me, husband, and guests) had a fantastic wedding weekend. My husband and I had a two day wedding celebration. The second casual "picnic" was arguably more complex despite its deceptively simple appearance due to Jamie having to transform a raw empty space into an event venue. The first day of our wedding went without a hitch. It was shocking how Jamie somehow made herself blend in with the rest of the crowd, yet was everywhere at once to conduct the event. ALL of our vendors complimented me (really, her) that she was the most professional, responsive, and organized planner they had ever worked with. She was so thorough - without Jamie, we are sure that we would have missed many small details that, while they wouldn't have messed up our wedding, made our day all the more presentable and comfortable. The second day (picnic) of our wedding was interesting. It was the day California experienced not any rain, but the crescendo into the historic "bomb cyclone" the following day. Days before our picnic, we had to scrap almost all of our original plan because our venue would have been flooded (and it was indeed underwater by our picnic day). We still don't know how Jamie pulled this off but she managed to transform our alternate venue (an empty cabin) into a spectacular indoor picnic spot. She had to re-do the furniture order and the layout. It worked. And that is without a doubt where I would have completely fallen apart without having Mango Muse. We are so grateful. Do yourself a favor and hire Jamie and her team :)

I am so, so glad that I hired Bri at the beginning of wedding planning. It's been two years since…read moreI hired her (covid postponement), and she has been an enormous help every step of the way. We just hired her for month-of coordination services, not her full planning services, but she was always quick to reply to any questions we had, even before the "month of." She had great recommendations for vendors and was willing to give us her honest opinion, so I felt much more confident in the choices we made. Bri was also incredibly flexible and understanding when we postponed out summer 2020 date to summer 2021, which we really appreciated. As the wedding approached, I became even more thankful for Bri's help. Knowing that she had everything totally under control was such a relief. She put together a lengthy timeline, coordinated with vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, and helped me organize all the items that we would need to have for the wedding. It was great to know that nothing would fall through the cracks! Finally, at the rehearsal and on the wedding day itself, Bri was such a source of calm. We were able to enjoy the day without worrying about logistics at all. I can't imagine wedding planning without her, and I would highly recommend her to any future couples!

My first impression of her was that she was very quiet and smiley. I was slightly afraid she wouldn't be able to withstand my enthusiasm (which often gets confused with aggression) but don't let her smile fool you! She's just listening to what you have to say and she knows how to respond to each request / question very professionally; she never missed a beat! I met with her for our introductory meeting and she drove all the way to me even though I offered to meet her half way, she emailed me to check in throughout the wedding planning process, got in contact with all my vendors, scheduled meetings with the venue and site coordinator and built the day-of-timeline. Although I wanted to be hands on in everything, when I had to actually let go and let her handle things, I was so confident in her and wasn't afraid of anything going wrong. I trusted Bri and she proved herself with all the curveballs that got thrown at her the day of the wedding. I'd have to say my wedding was a perfect day! Yes, there were tiny things that nobody could control, but she was there to ensure that I didn't notice a thing. She managed the day really well not only overseeing the other vendors, but actually setting up my reception decorations (she even asked me for photos examples just in case I had a vision). - I went to a few weddings where I had no idea that there was a wedding planner; I helped the families of the Bride and Groom set up / clean up the reception décor because their planners "didn't include that service". Bri stayed until a little after midnight on my wedding night making sure I got back everything that I wanted, packed up my gifts, and ensure that everything was taken cared of. I didn't lift a finger! HIRE HER! It will be the best thing you do for your sanity!
