A mixed review, based on 2 visits, a month apart. Today: a really good latte. But when I asked for 2%, I was told they only have whole milk or milk alternatives. No offer to mix skim with whole milk. (Yes, I've been to many, many coffee shops--abroad as well, and some offer, most accommodate if I ask. I get it about time and labor, so they get a way better tip.). The lids on a hot coffee are crummy: once you tear the tab, it's a rough edge against the lips. Today it left a poking-up hunk of sharp plastic. Wait time was good today: 10 minutes; a month ago it was 25 minutes-without apology. There were about six people ahead of me on both days. I don't know if they were training in a new barista, but acknowledgment of the extremely long wait is basic courtesy. The vibe is comfortable, clean wth a nice tiled fireplace, good natural light and cool trinity-shaped ceiling lights. I did not see a wheelchair or walker- accommodating entrance as an alternative to the two entrances wimany steps. (I don't need one, but shouldn't everybody be welcome?) Each table has an inspiring message; at mine it was "progress over perfection." I'll try to remember that with more compassion next visit. I'll be back. read more
