We stopped by there on our way back from camping in Point Beach State Forest this month. It was a little cute and cozy coffeehouse with delicious mocha and caramel latte. Loved it:)

Randomly stopped after driving thru town. Love all the…read moredifferent flight offerings for drinks, food and...dessert. Tried the apple cider old fashioned, warmed and it was delicious!! We didn't really need anything to eat but the mousse flight sounded too good to pass up. And I was not disappointed. Our server was new and dropped the first flight (it was in martini glasses so I'm pretty sure I would have done that too) but they quickly remade them. A cool spot in an old bank which uses the original drive thru for their coffee offerings.

The Jazz night was on a Saturday night from 5-8. We arrived a little before 5 and it was the dinner rush. We found a seat close to the entertainment and were greeted shortly after. After reviewing the menu, I decided on a margarita mocktail and a iced caramel macchiato. My husband and I ordered the nachos to share. There are options to add chicken or ground beef to the nachos. We chose the ground beef. The service was fast and friendly and our drinks amd nachos were out shortly after ordering. The nachos were so good. We ordered the small and was the perfect amount for us to share. My margarita was perfect and couldn't tell there wasn't a lick of alcohol in it. :). My caramel macchiato was sweet and delicious. The Jazz pianist that night was Blue Louis. He took a mix of contemporary, Jazz, show tunes, country, love songs and jazzed them up. He is an expert pianist and welcomed our comments and questions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are hoping Cool City will consider another Jazz night!

Retro wallpaper and vibe give this place unique and quirky charm while the two glass garage doors open up to provide for an decently sized (and relaxingly breezy) space. Employees were super friendly and chatty (in a good way), they shared some insights and tips about exploring the town while I waited for my coffee. Super helpful and welcoming while also being down to Earth. Drinks: We mostly came here for coffee and to chill for a bit. They offered coffee flights here so my wife was sold to stop and try them. We like flights because you get to sample more of the menu without committing to just one thing. After the flights, I did also try a separate flavored latte off of the menu has well. The lattes were not too sweet and the flavor profiles fit the espresso base without overpowering the coffee flavors. My favorite out of all of them were the Huckleberry Latte and the Black Sesame Foam Latte (The Goth I think is what they called it). Fun little shop to stop and grab a drink and bite to eat. Bonus - they are only 1/2 mile away from Lake Michigan and a local park. Park and grab a drink to go and explore the beach!

The address is a bit misleading, because you enter the coffee shop from 19th St, but it's accessible from 18th, just not as easily. I almost didn't even go in because the building is so nondescript, it didn't seem like there'd be a beautiful coffee shop inside. The beverage menu was extensive, and the coffee/food we got were absolutely delicious. Everyone on the staff there was super helpful and so nice. They were so accommodating to me and my family. The lobby area was beautiful and comfortable. They had comfy leather chairs, plenty of table space, and even a couple of long high top tables with wireless chargers and charging cables available for almost any device you need. I also really enjoyed the tree inside. We will be stopping by here again, for sure, it was worth every minute off track.

Service was fast and friendly, I love the tree, and the variety of seating options were perfect. Once they add signage on the 19th St. entrance door it will be easier to know where to go. I read Yelp reviews so I knew which door to use, but the people I was meeting struggled more to find where to go.
