They have outside seating which is normally packed with kids and families. The store is conveniently located near the fairgrounds. The tiny ice cream you see in my photos cost $3.20- way pricey for the amount you get.

Went on Sunday for their lunch buffet…read more Well, I have to say that the buffet was really limited compared to most others I've been to. There were some pakoras and tiny egg rolls. Not sure if these were supposed to be Anda rolls??? I think they were frozen things from Gordon's. Asian, yes, but not Indian (at least not from my perspective). The pakoras were rather dried out and cold. the chutneys didn't help very much. There were no little bowls to put the chutney in. That's kind of disappointing. There was no raita. There were no pickles. I kind of think of all of these things as being staples, or non-negotiables on Indian buffets. The 2 chutneys were (I think) a mint and the other was a tamarind. They were both pretty watery and not very flavorful. They had 2 masalas, 1 chicken and the other was a paneer. These were passable, but I've had better. The other entree was a goat curry that was pretty good to, but nothing had any real heat or spice. The kitchen was playing it safe, I guess. The rice was pretty good. Oh, I think they had some tandoor chicken pieces, but it was pretty dry. All in all, not the best I've had, but passable. I would have loved something like this when I was at OU all those years ago (GO BOBCATS!).

Today was our second visit to Easy Street Cafe, and once again, it did not disappoint…read more First, the restaurant itself has a ton of character and provides a cozy, welcoming feel. The staff, too, is quite friendly, and the service is always quick. But the star of the experience, of course, is the food. I ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant sandwich with a side of potato salad. The Croissant was lightly toasted, which I loved. The chicken salad was flavorful and savory and not overly loaded with mayonnaise. The potato salad was a nice mustard potato salad, and the serving size was quite big. My husband and son each ordered an elk burger, which was huge and juicy. Finally, my son's girlfriend ordered the Chicken Kabobs, which again was quite a generous serving, and she enjoyed every bite. We shared a delectable piece of chocolate cake for dessert, which was quite rich and oh so yummy. The next time you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend you stop in for a bite. Your taste buds will thank you!

They have a wide variety of items on the menu, the preparation is generous but not so fancy that they end up having to charge more. You know what you're getting in a place like this. Basic, reliable, but also delicious! I always take out as a great sign in a Mexican restaurant if the white staff has difficulty speaking English, that is the case here, lol. Having said that every server I've ever had has always been super friendly and welcoming to me. Over the years I've typically gone with their Pollo Loco, which is a simple dish prepared with thin slices of chicken over rice with cheese sauce. I have often lamented that I can't get this particular dish back home. The chicken is always tender, and the cheese sauce is always perfect. Nice crispy chips and delicious not too hot salsa complete the experience. About the only thing I haven't done here is have an alcoholic beverage, on my most recent visit my wife had a margarita and indicated it was delicious. I'm so glad this place is here, and frankly I wish they would open a location in my hometown.
