I love this place, especially their fries, sloppy joes and hot chicken sandwiches. One of the only places in town with no spicy salt on their fries. Fries are well cooked and crispy. Last summer I had a craving for root beer floats and had many there. They also have pup cups for my dog and she is always excited when we go there. They have dipped cones in many flavors and all the cones are way bigger than you expect. They also carry shakes, malts, hurricanes, frozen lemonade, Hawaiian shaved ice, walking tacos, poppers, fried mushrooms, brats. The mini buckeye sundae is really good. They have the candy buckeyes you can buy at the store with chocolate and peanut butter sauce. I will say, it is pretty expensive at $3.75 yet it is a super small cup. It's filling and nice that you don't have so much that you waste it like some places. It's delicious soft serve ice cream that has a lot of options. Not a lot to dislike. Only complaints would be the lines, but that usually means a place is pretty solid. They also accept credit cards but charge a small fee for it. At least they aren't cash only. read more

Great country fair food!! They have a good variety and their ice cream is the best in town.

Went here twice over last weekend. In short, the menu is great, people are great, and I consider it a staple for the town. Both times I went there was a long line of cars at the drive through and multiple people around the walk-up windows. I enjoyed the root beer float and egg salad croissant during my first visit and a medium twist cone on my second visit - and yes, that cone pictured is a medium, not a large! The prices here are great too, only a couple bucks for everything. I've been here many times before and plan to make many more visits in the future. read more

~ Bowling Green Staple establishment ~ My go to place for desserts in town. Located behind the Marathon Gas Station on Wintergarten, many (especially) students consider this to be out in, "the boonies". While it is unfortunate that it is not centrally located in town, the Sundae Station strives on with its dedicated demographic of mainly families and children, particularly those who live on this side of town, passed the hospital. Usually, it would close for the winters, but it seems as if Shaun is going the long haul this year, still open and serving up a variety in type of desserts from ice cream cones, slurpees, shakes, sundaes, etc., as well as chicken strips, fries, hotdogs, nachos, and more. Service is predominantly consisting of highschool or college students, mainly girls, always attentive, kind, and willing to aid in selection. There is usually a short line to order, and I typically just order from the inside counter, where I can take a seat. Due to there usually being a max of two employees at the window or counter, your orders are put in one at a time, and typically aren't the fastest. If you order food food, like a chicken strip basket, expect to wait 5-10 minutes while it is cooked. My tip of advice, if you're thirsty for just soda, get the large $1.50ish cup at the Marathon, which can be refilled for 50 cents, as long as you keep the Styrofoam cup. When I order food, I usually bring my Marathon cup and get my refill while I wait for it to cook. Prices are extremely affordable, and there's always a choice for any member of the family, from kids to grandparents. There is also a bathroom if needed, outdoor tables, and water can be provided for thirsty puppers. read more

Family and I tried this ice cream place for some soft serve in the winter (most other places are closed for the season) & it's safe to say we will drive the 30minutes to get there anytime! The flurries had endless toppings, and sundaes were layered to perfection. As someone who goes to another soft serve place exclusively in the summer, the Sundae Station gives it a run for its money. Dont let their location fool you. Just because they're attached to a gas station doesn't mean they don't rock. First off, the staff is amazing. Their food is amazing and the prices... you guessed it AMAZING. If you use their drive thru it does take a hot minute because they make everything as it's ordered, but I'm OK with that because I know it's fresh. They also have picnic tables set up so you can eat your grub outside or there is a small dining area inside as well. Seriously one of the best kept secrets in Bowling Green! read more

The Sundae Station is a great seasonal ice cream shop with a drive-thru, 3 front walk-up windows and an indoor lobby. Many outdoor picnic tables in a grassy area that is shaded in the evenings. Their main focus is soft serve ice cream creations, but they also serve Toft's hand dipped ice cream. I definitely recommend trying it out! read more

LOVE SUNDAE STATION!!! As I try my best to only eat ice cream sparingly, when I do, it's sundae station that is calling my name!!! Not only do they offer yogurt and lower calorie options, (which are delicious) they also offer a huge variety of ice cream stand food! Their bbq pork nachos are loaded, they don't skimp on the walking tacos (which are made with Fritos and not Doritos! Thankfully!!) and their spudsters are a new favorite of mine:) I always like to try something new, but some things are just so good, I can't help but order my favorites over and over. Also, I don't know where they get their ranch, but it's a delicious dip for their chicken fingers! I usually go the the Ice Cream Machine on Poe Rd. but sometimes end up here because of location. Good selection of ice cream and flavors. They offer a frozen yogurt in about 16 flavors. Working my way through the list. Reasonably priced and good portion size. This place can get busy with a drive up and only 1 or 2 windows open so there may be a wait for service. I love going to owner operated business, not only was it very clean, the ice cream was great. The owner was very friendly and I could tell he loves what he is doing. I love stopping at the ice cream stop. It's a nice "secret" that college students generally don't visit. I'm a BGSU student, so it's a nice change as opposed to Dairy Queen. They have a huge menu and creative sundae creations, like puppy chow. Definitely stop by! read more
